Sol chuckled. "One of the nicest you'll ever meet..." He placed the plates down and got some forks, then pulled out a chair for Karma. "If you would like to sit..." He smiled.
"If you'd like to learn more about her I'd be happy to tell you..." He'd never really talked about his kids.

Karma took her seat. "Oh, I don't mind. I think I would like to know more about you though." She wondered how he became elder and other things about his past. "Since she's part of it sure." She smiled up at him. Happy to know he would tell her about the elder that had just left.

Sol chuckled. "She's a mother in her own right... So I have grandchildren... I told you I was old..." He smirked, before taking a bite of food. Taking a moment to chew and swallow he smirked. "Anyway, I think she's suffering a case of empty nest, she'll adopt anything that's young enough to need care..."

Karma nodding her head, "Remember age is realative." He might be old, but around her she didn't think so. "Really? I met someone who adopted a kid. She was cute." Karma remembered the feeling of the toddler in her arms. It had been very enjoyable.
"So, you use this to eat?" She copied his actions and used the fork to take a bite of the food. She chewed slowly, letting the taste wash over her tongue. "Wow, it's really good!" She then ate faster and forkful, after forkful.

Sol chuckled. "Hey slow down! You'll get sick if you eat too fast..." He took another bite, chewing slowly and deliberately. If anything, he'd learned how to enjoy food while he was a recluse... Pol made a good meal, but he wasn't shabby by any stretch either... Since Pol had spent most of her time with him...
Chuckling a little he sighed a bit, looking down into his plate... What was he going to do? Was this going to work out.... He hoped it would...

"But, it's just so good!" Karma laughed and slowed down like he suggested. "You'll have to show my how to do this sometime, ok?" Fate had led her in such a great direction.
She looked at his face and it looked sad again. Why? "What? What's wrong?" She streatched her hand out to take his. Wasn't that how you comforted someone?

Sol snapped back to reality. "Oh yes, sorry, just got lost in thought," He smiled at Karma, before forking another batch into his mouth. "I'd be glad to show you sometime, just let me know when you feel up to it, it's not really that hard... Though, Pol's really the cook around here, I'm just moonlighting tonight," He smirked.

"Well, some other time. Let's just enjoy this meal right now. I'm rather enjoying it anyway. Great food, great company too!" She giggled and went back to eating. She was happy that her hand had helped him come back. She wondered where he went when he looked like that?

Sol chuckled. "Yeah, It's been awhile since I've been able to say that," He smirked. "Well the first half, but not the second, haven't had good company in ages, now I do!" He shook his head slowly and took another bite of his food. "Mmmm... I can't wait to see how good the food you make tastes," He chuckled.

Karma smiled, "Thanks, but mine would be rather horrible. I have never cooked before...ever!" Fate hadn't shown her that life lesson. There was alot of these thing Fate hadn't shown her.
"You started teaching me romance." She paused and blushed, "But, I think you taught me alot more than that. Thank you!" She wanted to make sure he knew how much this day had meant to her.

"Wait... What?" Sol had completely forgotten this had started out as a simple lession in how Pae'il interacted. "Oh... Yeah..." He suddenly blushed. Wondering if she was doing this just because she still thought it was part of the lession...
He hoped not...

Karma giggled, "Who knew a lesson would turn real, right?" She did hope it had turned real. She wasn't very knowing in these matters like he was.

Sol chuckled, "Who'd of thought huh?" He smiled and reached out, resting his hand atop of hers, "But I'm glad it did, else it would have been a really sucky lession..." He laughed weakly, but he was releaved.

"Fate." She then laughed, of course Fate would have know just where to send her to find him and vice versa. She squeezed his hand. "The lesson was good, it showed me what to look for. How I know how I felt about you." She nodded to punctuate.
