Phit listened to Blank's words and nodded as she took them in. These people don't seem so bad. Yes, but then again I don't know them. I mucst keep my gaurd up, I wouldn't want anything to happen again.

As everyone started collection their things, Phit stood up and walked to the edge of the area that everyone was in. Her green eyes narrowed ans she put all of her attention to the surounding woods. Phit listened for a moment to see if there were any of the animals scurrying arond that she might be able to hunt then turned back arond. "I may be able to help with a little food," she said, "but I use a revolver, so when I hunt alone it doesn't scare anyone else's targets off. So I'm not sure if you'd want me to."

Blank nodded in agreement with Seriph after he suggested not pushing too hard. He also caught his look of distrust. It was only understandable, though. As members of the human race traveling in a vast lonely world, its easy to band together. But learning to get along was another thing...

Blank then watched as Seriph and Jania took off in the trees to hunt some food down. He followed silently below them, walking and searching for herbs on the way. The others seemed to not know what to do either. "Aside from meat, we could look for edible plants and a water source. I think I remember a stream that runs through this forest somewhere, if someone would like to help me search for it..." he left the suggestion hanging.

"Well Phit, if you want to come with us, we could use the revolver to scare them to us. Or to take something larger out." Seriph said "I never turn down help, so come on I'm sure we could use you."

Phit smiled. It had been a long time since she had been accepted, and even though she didn't fully trust these people she randomly met, it was still nice. She followed behind them. "Ok, well Ive never really used it to scare animals into a certain direction ..so at first it may seem as I don't know what I'm doing." She kinda laughed to herself, realizing she probably sounded a least a little bit foolish.

(((So, so, so sorry! heart I was taking a Harry Potter vacation with some friends for the past week....its a thing we do ^_^ I know, I'm a a geek for devoting an entire week to Harry Potter, but it twas fun.....I think I even freaked some kids at the theater! {my friends and I ALL dressed like characters from the movie! *meow*} I am totally accessible now, my AIM is BishiBeloved if you wanna chat! )))))))

Sorina fluttered her eyes open, ever so slightly and gracefully, appearing as gentle and sweet as possible.

"Mmmmm....", she spread her arms out wide, stretching every limb in her body, "Hello?.....Do I know any of you sweethearts?".

Sorina's voice was sweet and creamy, bouncing like a feather on the wind. She glanced over at the adventurous group she had been stalking for days, careful not to show her deep and pulsating repulsion.

"It is just quite nice to meet you!" Sorina pushed herself through the last sentence, holding down her urge to gag.....

"Well, there do seem to be more than enough people hunting for food now. So, if it is all right, Blank, I think that I will join you in looking for water." Arashi said.

This is better. I am, after all, not very good at hunting. I'm not as fast as some of the others, and I would have to be pretty close to my prey in order to attack it with my staff. It is better that I assist Blank in searching for water instead.

"Sounds good," he said to Arashi smiling. Just before taking off to search for a water source, a soft voice came from above in the trees. Looking back and upward, Blank saw a young girl lingering in the branches above. Beside her, was Phoenix, Avari's cat. Her clothes were ragged, which is understandable when you lived out in the wild, but the most prominant feature she had was her face. Or rather, the scar on her face that was undoubtedly made by a set of mutant claws. Instantly, Blank felt sorry for her. What had she been through exactly, to obtain so many marks? And yet, her voice... It was so sweet. It almost didn't fit.

Looking at her quizzically a moment, Blank spoke up. "Hello there," he said with a pleasant face.

"Oh, there you are..." said Avari, coming to a stop behind Blank. She glanced at Phoenix, who promptly leapt down into her arms. A small smile came to the girl's face as she realized that now he trusted her enough to let her catch him. That was a surprise. He was usually so moody...

But no sooner had she caught him than a strange feeling settled into the pit of Avari's stomach. She wasn't sure what it was or why she was feeling it, but it was as if something was wrong, or something bad was going to happen. But there was no reason to feel like that... was there?

Avari looked up at the girl in the tree who had just spoken. Silver eyes blinked in surprise at the long scar on her face. It looked painful. What memories lingered behind it?

Ouch.

Flinching, Avari looked down and delicately removed Phoenix's claws from her shoulder, where he was gripping onto her skin tightly. He stared back at the girl in the tree, and again the sinking feeling resurfaced within Avari. She looked up wordlessly at the girl in the tree. Was it her voice? Was that it? Had there been something strained in the way she'd said her words? Avari wasn't sure.

Maybe she was just imagining things.

Because he was looking into the trees at the girl, Blank could see the sky overhead, including the placement of the sun. If they were going to get provisions for tonight, it would be best to go soon to allow plenty of time to get everything that was needed. "Um, Avari. Arashi and I were going to look for water pretty soon, did you want to come? Or did you want to help Seriph and Phit with the food?" he asked her.

Blank then glanced back at the girl in the trees. It was unnerving and difficult not to look at the marks across her face, but she seemed sweet, or at least her voice did. It's as if the undoubtedly traumatizing events that happened to her hadn't fazed her. It's as how it should be, Blank then thought, knowing all to well the effects carnage had on the mind. As a Contolio soldier, he had seen several people break after witnessing a slaughter. He shuddered slightly. Oh, the cruel world they live in.

Ryuk took a large breath before speaking up, "Is there a chance you would be willing to add another one on?" His words were firm, he would rather stay with these people then be alone. Even if he was just going to be in the background. He glanced at Blank and then at Seriph who seemed he needed to get on better terms with. "I don't want to be rude." He muttered after and sighed. His gaze still on Seriph.

Phit came up to the group that seemed to have stop befor they even left the area. Then she realized that there was a girl up in the tree. Looking up, she noticed her scar witch made her remember earlier when she should have gained one of her owne. Looking back down to the others, she didn't want to stare, Phit quietly waited for the rest of them to be ready.

Arashi also noticed the girl in the tree. He noticed the deep scars she bore. In the end he thought that if this girl was simply to sit in her tree and watch them that they should continue with what they had been doing. And to keep their guard up while they were doing it.

Avari turned towards Blank as Phoenix leapt out of her arms and took a seat at her feet, still watching the girl in the tree diligently. Meanwhile, Avari considered Blank's offer, weighing her options.

After a moment, she said quietly, "Uh... I suppose I'll help you and Arashi, if that's okay..." She glanced between the two of them. Though she didn't really relish the thought of spending more time with Mr.Contolio and Mr.Contolio-Wannabe, Avari had to admit that she couldn't handle a weapon. She knew she would be practically useless in a hunting trip. Well... besides being able to see the prey. Hm. I actually could've used that excuse. But it was too late. She'd already given consent. Besides, she knew Seriph was a skilled hunter. He could handle himself.

With a nearly inaudible sigh, Avari hefted her backpack on her shoulders and shot a smile at Blank, before realizing that she wasn't supposed to be doing that and looking away.

"You lead the way," she said, trying to sound normal. She couldn't allow herself to trust him. He was part of the organization she'd sworn to hate after the death of her family. But the truth was, there was absolutely nothing to dislike about Blank, and that's what she disliked. But that didn't matter. She still would not forgive Contolio. But how could she oppose an organization if she had nothing against it's members?

The subject was too much to think about at the moment. Avari was tired and thirsty after walking in the heat all day, and she just wanted to get moving again. At least searching for water would occupy her thoughts for awhile.

((Been very busy... so sorry))

Ryuk waited a little longer and then glanced back at Blank with a little more of a serious glare. What was with these people? Was it just him thinking too much or did they really have something against outsiders? Or was it just him? His let out a silent huff of anger to that thought, if it was he might as well just leave. He liked being alone why did being with them matter?
Ryuk pushed the several nerving thoughts away from him and glanced back at Seriph, trying to stay as calm as he could at the moment. "I really don't want to intrude." He mustered as if it would matter.
