Alexi Terianis Elliedoll *laughs* No. I'd fastpump my cranny two levels, then send him a message consisting of: Hey, sorry I missed your visit. You never call or write anymore, baby, and I miss your sweet behind so much. What I said still stands though: If you're not gonna put out, then stay out of my camp. You know, as funny as that is, I don't think it's necessary....I could ask him to call next time he wants to show up, though....hmmm. ...I wonder... twisted Edit: Alright, I sent a message to him, but one thing. I'm getting pissed about them beating up Will like that. Are you guys sure I can't do anything about it? Consider this, Teri. The assholes thumping on Will are one of the biggest alliances on the server. You smack that hornet's nest with a stick and they ALL slam down on ALL of us. YOU might survive it. I might survive the first wave or two. But what about the 2/3 of our group who have no operational defenses? I seem to be the only Gaul, so I'm the only one with Traps to fall back on. When you're dealing with an enemy like that, the only way to survive is to make it so that they can't get ANYTHING and it's no longer worth their time. Cranny level 10. Palisade/Wall/Berm/whatever. And a shitload of Pikemen, strictly as defenders. WIth a pumped Cranny, suddenly their raid comes up with a fist full of air. They'll lay off for a few days to let things 'build up a bit'; use the interim to build the snot out of pikemen. You might be able to take on one of them, but even YOUR forces can't withstand it if they focus their wrath on you. They could take us apart and we couldn't do a damned thing about it. sad

I know how to keep my forces preserved and out of harm's way, but I can't exactly do much else while I do that. confused

Okay, Argentum's Embassy should be up within 25 minutes or so, so I'll be good to go when my protection wears off in two days. I've only got a couple resource fields left at level 2. Are there any other buildings that should be built before the protection wears off?

Settlers are resource carrying gods. Slow moving though, and (almost) no attack power.

Balcerzak Settlers are resource carrying gods. Slow moving though, and (almost) no attack power. Whoa. No kidding. Tell me, what else should I get before I get myself a settler? I need to expand, because as I am now, I'm quite a bit below where I want to be. More production, faster! scream

Right now my plans are to become a huge resource whore, pump out a few settlers as fast as i can and grab the pieces of land right next to me, turn a couple into pure resource huts with flour mills iron foundries etc and a couple into regular military oriented town. The few people near me aren't much of a concern, I got one guy at about 136 people and another at 105, the others are at 50 and such(none of which are in an alliance). As Arcadian pointed out Balc is right near me so even if someone were to get a good idea and ransack me... biggrin
Course this is all after i get something on my defense.

TheMessiah ...and i just realize quite HOW MUCH goes into making a single settler Aye, a LOT.
So far my plans of building up my macemen alongside my resources is working great, as each raid is at the least paying for another maceman.
Thank MOD there are no Gauls around me anymore... Bloody trappers.

Quote: Greetings from Poopstainia! I would first like to commend you on your perfectly timed attacks, catching my army at home two times. I would like to give you two choices for the future. 1. A Peaceful Alliance in which we ally together for the greater good for both villages. 2. You get a not very profitable farm for a day or 2 while i delete my account. Now, option #2, no one wants. But if you find it necessary to constantly attack me, so be it, i will go away. Option #1 is the better choice i feel. If you had not sent your troops at those 2 times last night and this morning, my army could of hide to attack you later tonight. The action would have been crushing for both of our armies. I leave the decision up to your Sir or Madam. And i await your reply. Poopinhammer of the Village, Poopstainia Sometimes, people are just funny. I offered my forces as mercenaries, should he need them. We'll see how he responds.
