Well, first I knew I was going to like Deidara, because he's an artist. I automatically luffles characters who are artists.
Then, after his first appearance, I hated him. >.< Just for a little while, but that was only because I thought...Gaara might not make it.
But after I found out that Gaara was going to survive, I I luffled Deidara again.
Of course, at first sight, I also thought that Deidara's either a VERY feminine guy, a rather masculine girl, or an androgynous person. Then I watched the anime version (I was reading the manga first), and I realized that he's a guy. -_-;

I thought he might be a girl OR a boy. Then I figured it out 3nodding I thought the hands were a little odd but after seeing him explode things and talk about art I fell in lurve heart

Well at first I thought Deidara was a total freak XD. But then I found out how interesting he was later and later in the fight against Gaara. The hands freaked me out, but then I found thats what makes him interesting. The other reason I didnt like him too much in the beginning because he was about to kill Gaara. But Im not a Gaara fangirl anymore. Thats my little sisters job in my house. Im the Deidara fangirl round here.

Aw, I never though Deidara-Kun was a girl.
He never looked like a girl to me!!
I pretty much loved him as soon as I saw him, I think it was because I loved his hair so much. xD

My friend was looking up 'itachi the superstar' on youtube (look it up, its funny ^.^) and we ran into some other akatsuki videos and I saw Deidara and was like "Who's the hottie?". Of course, she said "Um..I don't know his name." but right after she said that, on one of the videos they said something about Deidara and that is what started our (me and my friend) obsession over deidara ^.^
I never thought he was a girl..but one of my other friends did and still does even though I showed her the part in the manga when he rips his shirt off (I was in fangirl heaven ^.^) and she still said he was a girl. God. She even said that if she has a daughter, she'll name her Deidara. But I think she was joking.

When I first saw him, I thought he was a girl, but after a couple of minutes, I realized he was a guy, but this was back when I hated the Akatsuki. IT didn't take me long to become obsessed with them, and Deidara is my favorite character, and that brought me into fangirl mode. biggrin
