Brayden finally made it to the entrance to the caves, ducking under the rocky outcropping as he made his way inside. Caliga remained out, her rings glowing faintly blue, lighting up a bit of the area around them as Brayden turned back to nod to the others.
A screech from above startled him, as he spun, stumbling slightly to scramble out of the way of the diving Zubat. Caliga hissed, blasting the bat with a Psychic. The wave of psychic energy blasted into the Zubat, as it fell, disoriented, before falling to the cavern floor defeated.
"Thanks, Cal," Brayden smiled, before turning to the group as he waited for them to enter as well.

Chloe entered the cave a few moments later, blinking to adjust to the drastic change in light. She was thankful for Caliga's help in lighting the place just a bit, though. Otherwise she didn't think she'd be able to see anything.
It took a few moments for her to adjust, but once she had, she took a glance around. The mine entrance for the most part was clear of debris, which she took as a good sign. The last thing she wanted was to be stuck in an unsafe looking tunnel.
The floor of the mines, near the edges of the walls, held a thin veil of violet mist, that swirled about Chloe's ankles as she entered the caves. However, as the group entered the mines, it receeded further into the tunnels slowly. Chloe knelt, watching the mist for a moment, confused, however it vanished a moment later, leaving a chill in its wake.
"What on earth?" she murmured, standing a bit reluctantly.

It took Felix a long time to answer Vhan. The other boy kept doing things that Felix hadn't experienced before. His other lovers and potential lovers had never wanted to comb his hair, in fact, more than one had said the his looked like a b***h to comb...
When he finally did answer, he didn't let any of his uncertainty show in his voice. "If you want to." he said, with a small shrug as they entered the caves.
Gigi spent her time rubbing her now very wet self against Felix's ankles. She was going to make him wet too, even if she had to go jump in a puddle of water to do it. When she saw the mist, she stopped rubbing against her trainers ankles and raced at a small tendril of the mist. She stopped in front of it, and wapped at it with one paw before she turned tail and raced back to Felix, hiding behind his leg and watching as the mist retreated, her eyes shining in the gloom.

She began to walk and there she saw the light from cali. sasha ran up and covered Chloes eyes "Your Under Arrest. The crime Stealing my heart" she said laughing. Miyuki and Daisuke were with her, Daisuke looking at cali with curisity. Miyuki took one look at everyone and determined they were 'average' and that they were 'acceptible' and voiced her opponion though unless you understood eevee you wouldn't know why the pokemon was skulking. Sasha truned to Felix and Vahn "hey there again" she said and looked at kaya. "wow you have changed. . . did you die on me?"

She'd definitely changed in appearance since he'd last seen her.Kaya looked at Sasha oddly for a moment before he realized what she meant. "Oh, that." he commented as he pointed to the luminescent halo over his head.
"Well...I found out that I'm an Original, a reborn spirit of pure elemental energy that came before even Arceus. A direct child of the All Mother in that essence." he said as he placed a finger on his chin in thought. "We found out that apparently I've unlocked the full potential of my Original powers with the changes I've been through. And we found out that all of these odd weapons and armors popping up around the region are actually the Originals weapons finding the people who descended from their owners. So Chloe, Brayden, You, me, Nona...and probably Henna and Julian as well all own one of them." he explained.
"Basically everyone who's met me on my journey so far has most likely received a weapon or armor." he explained as he finally relaxed and looked back at her. "We can only assume that once we end the threat that Lance has created, we'll all go back to normal or at least, we'll all be able to return to familiar appearance after we've mastered out weapon or armors powers."

Ceres smiled ran over to kaya and pinched his butt with her horns. Sasha smiled finnaly clicking that kaya and brayden were getting married "Congrats!!! I'll have to make sure i can attend. . . The guild might have me in a diffrent reigon. . . Oh I am a Pokemon Ranger, and a Registered nurse" she sighed looking around and realized she was still on chloe she smiled and kept her hands on chloe. "I missed you" she said in such a whisper that chloe might hear but most of the pokemon would. She sniffled and held back her tears, Miyuki might pee on her if she saw that chloe was even remotely upsetting sasha. Miyuki having determined everyone to be acceptible hopped over peed on Felix scratched a bit of sand onto the liquid then bounded to sasha's side glaring at the cat type. Shirahime Floated over to kaya and bowed her congratulations. "Congratulations" she said in a whisper of a voice. if she wasn't right there kaya would have thought he was hearing things.

Brayden had been distracted by the mist, watching it curiously. He sort of spaced out for a bit, although he didn't think that was actually due to the creepy violet miasma. He looked up, hearing Sasha's voice, smiling faintly as Kaya announced their engagement. He nodded, "Its great to see ya again Sasha. Congrats on becoming a nurse! Last time we talked you were still in training. And a ranger too?" Brayden whistled, "You've been definitely busy," he laughed.
"I honestly haven't been up to all that much. Mostly just training a bit," Brayden admitted with a sheepish shrug, "My pitiful attempts at getting better before Lance decides to come back," he muttered.
"And thanks," he smiled, wrapping an arm around Kaya's waist, "It was decided just a shot bit ago actually. While we were eating breakfast," he grinned.
Caliga cocked her head, flicking an ear absently as she stared back at Daisuke before piping up with a faint smile, "What's so interesting?" in her own tongue.

Chloe had been a bit distracted, so she jumped as Sasha covered her eyes, but she brightened, spotting Sasha and Julian as the two of them joined their group in the mine.
"Wow, its awesome to see you two again!" Chloe laughed as she stood, smiling to Julian and Sasha.
"You've definitely been busy," she laughed to Sasha's announcement that she was now a ranger as well as a nurse, "Glad to see you're all healed up, though," she admitted with a smile.

Elsewhere in the caves, the alarm was sounding, thanks to the mist, which had retreated swiftly through the corridors of the mines to where an old woman sat atop a small stack of crates, cane in hand. The mist temporarily solidified, forming the face of a Gengar, as he passed on the news to his master.
The group at the entrance wouldn't be able to tell, but it was only a matter of time before those in the depths of the mines would offer their "welcome" to the intruders.
"You know what to do?"
"Of course."
