Ya I'm a girl and a drummer. I'm the only snare player in our school drumline. We have 4 other girl percussionists. 3 play bass drum, 1 plays symbols. The rest are boys. At school I'm THAT girl and I love it.

My left hand man(woman) in the line is a female drummer, she's the #2 section leader for the basses under me.

I'm a female tenor player for the drumline, and I don't care about all those 'tomboy' remarks. Just cause I play with a bunch of guys doesn't make me weird, it just means I don't really care what other people think. Drumming is my life, and people who can't deal with that should just shut up. Yeah, that's how I look at things.

Hey............ girl drummer here. I'm on the PHS Drumline in West Virginia. I luv drumming. It isn't a passion; it is an obsession! All I know is girl drummers have to work harder than boys just becauses it's male dominated. I am one of 2 girls on my line. I'm 3rd bass this year. I'm part of two minorities in drumline: being a girl and being a freshman. Any one want to talk, look me up

I'm a girl drummer :D ! I'm the only girl on our line, I play snare/quads. But there are 4 others that play mallets.
I think its really fun being surrounded by a bunch of crazy guys all the time. Like, its so different than anything else. You get to know people you'd otherwise never get to.
I don't like having to play mallets all the time just because I'm a girl~
