Rui didn't break stride, whatever was up ahead she probably didn't want to see anyway with the way Sony was running twards it. She caught the smell of blood shortly after Sony broke into his dash twards what now appeared to be a stable. Now Rui knew she didn't want to see it!

When she finaly made it over there to see the carnage of Jedit's body She bowed her head in respect, and covered her nose from the overwelling stench of blood and roting corpse.

"may Riokshte guide your soul safely."

Wile Rui hated the gods for being so uncareing of their subjects and those who praised them, she knew one thing was certain and no way was she going to piss him off.... The only things certain where death and taxes, she wasn't going to piss off the spirit of death.

"Rui, if you dont mind..."
He said, motioning over to the side where she could move to so he could work without hinderance. The body had about bled out by then, leaving nothing really but the body and the pool around it, but he thought it would be good to give Jedit his warriors burial. He may have been an outcast Tigeral, but he still knew the Tigeral way of life.

Finding a blanket used for the mounts in the stables, Sony wrapped up the body and hoisted it onto his shoulder. It was heavy sure, but he wasnt a push over either. Stepping out of the stable he looked over to Rui with a sad look.
"I am headed to the open graveyard to burn him. Want to come?"
He asked, not wantingto drag her along if funeral fires werent her thing.

Rui took a step to the side to allow Sony to work. she still didn't want to face the body and made sure she was sidways to it so she still had an idia of what was going on but didn't have to face the brunt force of the smell. She took a moment to fish out a handkerchif and hold it up to her nose so as to not smell the death so strongly, it made her eyes water.

When Sony came up to her with the offer of attending his funeral she nodded in agrement. After all, she was probabbly the only person he knew before his death, it was practicaly her duty to attend.

-----------

A little fairy floated downwards to the body of Jedit. The fact that it was wraped in a blanket didn't seem to bother the littly guy much. He lifted the cover of the blanket just enough so he could see the blank stare of the dececed and toched him in the middle of the forhead. The tigeral's soul slowly floated out as the spirit of death pulled his hand away.

Riokshte guided the tigeral's soul upwards a ways so he could fallow the two mourners to the timely funeral.

"Do you wish to see your funeral before continueing to the land of the dead?"

He asked with spite, as if Jedit deserved nothing more than death let alone a funeral.

While he didnt look as strong as any of the other Tigerals in the world, he could still lug Jedits body all the way to the open field that served as a cemetary. It wasnt actually for burying people, so there was no headstones around, but there was wood, and lots of it.

Setting the body down gently he got to work constructing the pyre, looking to Rui for help, but not asking it of her. This would take the longest time, and getting it right for the warrior class was harder still.

After it was done he took the body from the blanket and set him up on the wood pyre, laying his weapon down in his folded hands before stepping away for a moment. Checking his pockets he found two coins of the same mark and set them over Jedits eyes before walking away again.

Not much for words he held a hand out toward the wood and cast a fire spell on it, making the wood catch as quickly as possible.

Rui fallowed Sony to the feild, with a careful step wispering prayers that her dad once taught her more out of habit than anything else. She wasn't even aware she was doing it untill they reached the feild and she stopped to finesh the prayer. She was almost angry she even remembered it.

When Sony began preping the fire to roast the dececed she was glad to help, ashes to ashes and all that. She piled the wood with care so Jedit might lay comfortably. When the two where done and the wood set to light she stood back mumbling the same prayer out of habit again, still angry at herself for remembering it.

--------

" I am going to drag you to the land of the dead even if they don't do it right"

Riokshte said with an evil grin, as if getting revenge on him for even existing. He then guided the dead soul to where the two mourners ment to put him to rest for good, watching the procedings with a souless stare. At least the Kirt was being polite in sending out a request for a peaceful crossing, Jedit should be greatful.

Jedit finally came to a decision how to avenge himself, and started running for home. To his amazement he was able to cover miles in a single bound. He made it home quickly and begain searching out an elder to appear to. Finding the most revered of the elders and moved down to be next to the elders ear.
"Most revered elder, I have been slain by a coward, find my brother Kamahl, tell him to avange my death send him to natura."
The Elder had been trained to hear spirits and knew who was speaking, Jedit a mid rank member of the warrior sept, who had acted as his guard on more than one occasion. He nodded at the end of the warriors speach and decided it would be discussed at the next tribal meeting.

Riokshte let the tigeral go, rather than stopping him as he should have. He felt it would be better to drag the tigeral kicking and screaming to the underworld just after he left a dieing message. Ah, he did love those moments.

With an evil smirk the fairy dissapeared in a puff of black smoke that seemed to ooze from the underworld itself. He found the wondering soul wispering some message into an elder's ear, at least the tigeral had been smart enough to pick someone who could hear spirits.

"Your time here is up, we're leaving now or you shal forever wonder this earth like a coward who can not face me."

He said with particular malice, crossing his arms to look down appon the tigeral as if he where not more than a bug. Riokshte made sure the tigeral understood that he was calling him a coward for, what would appear to be, running away from death.

After a considerable time had passed, Sony looked over to Rui and bowed his head, scilently telling the other it was about time to go. Turning on his feet he headed back into town, keeping what sorrow he held for the dead Jedit to himself. He hoped he had done right by the warrior, seeing as his outcast status seemed to get in the way of how he was treated before. Maybe that would be his redeeming action to the dead.

Getting deeper into town he had still spoken no words. He really couldnt think of something to say about what had just happened. A Villain had killed right under his nose and he wasnt there to stop it. Some hero.

Jedit spit into Riokshte's face, bearing his teeth he growled at him.
I'm no coward small fry, who are you to tell me what to do?
This whole time Jedit was moving into a fighting stance ready to squash the little man
lets go you little man

Kamahl moved along a the bridge to the gate and shouted up to the guards.
Hello there lads, why don't you open up these gates of yours, I'm merely a druid passing through and I plan to cause you and your people no harm, just to find someone.
His green tunic and kilt showed he was speaking the truth. An argument occurred at the top of the wall before the gates opened just enough for his broad frame to enter, once he passed through the gates he picked up the scent of his brother, it was old and he would not have noticed it, following the trail he picked up the scent of Jedits blood and started to follow straight to a inn where the smell was the strongest, but it moved along a second path and he followed it along, going to a funeral prye and then it diveraged once more... he begain to move quickly untile he came down a street and saw a tigeral moving through the crowed.
HEY YOU, STOP!
he yelled knowing it would get his attention

Sony had been walking slow to begin with, so it was no suprise this other had found him before he reached the Inn. Stopping at the voices command, the tall lanky Tigeral turned to look at the one who call to him and Rui.

Spying the other tigeral seemed to bring confusion to Sony's features. He looked like Jedit, but not exactly. He had an earthy scent, Druid perhaps, though it was the strongest looking one he had ever seen. Turning to face the other fully he stood up straight and eyes him.
"May I be of service?"
He asked, sliding both hand behind his back just in case this person began to attack him. He had learned not to be too comfortable around people, even his own race seemed to hate him.

Kamahl sniffed the air a few times picking up the tigerals scent as well as the scent of Jedit's blood. eying the tigeral he noticed the blood was on his shoulder and his hands.
I am Kamahl Druid of the Oak order, I am here searching for the body of my brother Jedit and his killer. Who are you, and why do you smell of him?
Kamahl tightened his grip on his Ashandarei, ready to use it but not really expecting to need to.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 07, 2007 3:15 pm

Ah, so thats why the features were so stricking. He should have guessed he was Jedits brother. Bowing to the Tigeral he ventured a gaze upward at him before speaking.
"I am Sony, friend to Jedit. Rather, was. Your brother was murdered."
He said, not really knowing the extent of this guys knowledge of the subject.
"I was the one who lit his funeral pyre."
He added after a moment. Raising from his bow the skinny tigeral looked at the other and waited. If anything, he would expect an act of rage against him, but that was probably just his nature not to trust his own kind.

Lowering his head slightly he made sure to keep and eye on the new guy, but kept himself looking sad and depressed about the death of the Warrior.

Kamahl, looked at Sony, noticing that he was obviously he was not a warrior, he was to skinny and runt like. He appreciated the fact that this runt had taken care of his brothers body so that raised Sony's status in his eyes.
I take it you preformed the proper rights of a warrior for him. he was a good man, and a great warrior he deserved that much at least. Would you mind telling me why he was here to begin with?
He relaxed his grip on his weapon and leaned upon it slightly relaxing visibly now.
