He was quick about it and shuffled Kaleb back to Reno while he went to alter the shirts.

Kaleb didn't fidget so much when he came back, it hadn't been uncomfortable at all. Well, he didn't fidget until Reno mentioned showing him off. "Wh-what do you mean? I-I thought I was going to go home after this." The thought of being the center of attention really made him anxious.

"Well we gotta walk back to my car and i'm never going to complain about having something pretty near me." It usually meant that he got free drinks later when people tried to get out of him who he was with.

Kaleb blushed brightly at being called pretty, and adjusted his glasses on his nose. "Y-you really think people will look at me?" He asked in a nervous tone. It was a stupid question, he knew people would look at him anyway because wings and a halo wasn't all that common, but it was different knowing people were looking because he was 'pretty'.

"Yea .. didn't we tell ya that before?" The addition of wings and a halo only made him cuter. Plus the new pants would be good too.

"Y-you didn't say people would look at me all the time," Kaleb said miserably, fidgeting with his hands and twitching his tails a bit. This came as a bit of a shock to him, for the most part he believed he was pretty unremarkable and unnoticed when he went out, aside from his new additions which would naturally draw unwanted attention.

"Some days i swear ya live in a hole." He leaned against the counter to wait for the shop keeper to finish. Kaleb just didn't pay attention to everything else enough. "I mean if we cleaned ya up more then you'd be a match for Rufus when he was younger."

Kaleb just fidgeted worse. "I-I'm not that remarkable," he said timidly, almost more to convince himself rather than Reno. The last thing he wanted was for the redhead to try making him look nicer than he did with the new clothing, he would feel even more awkward and probably draw more unwanted attention to himself.

"I-I don't need attention," he said, tucking his wings closer to his back and accidentally dislodging a couple feathers. He got all the attention he needed on a regular basis from Riley, and even that was a kind of laid-back attention that he could escape from if he ever wanted to.

He shrugged slightly. Attention was fun if you knew just the right ways to get it. "Should like it more every once in a while."

Kaleb thought about that for a minute, sometimes he really did like attention, like when Riley was rubbing his back, but that was a special case and didn't count. "I-I don't need attention from just anyone who can see me," he corrected himself.

"Well thats why ya got us to give you attention." Or something like that. He figured that next time they had to go to one of Rufus social things that Kaleb would get stared at and talked about even more than he normally dd.

Kaleb sighed a bit. "Attention from you is different from attention from strangers..." he muttered, glancing around nervously to see if anyone was looking, and also to see if the shirts were done. Then he blushed a bit. "I-I'm not afraid of you."

"Gotta learn ta be less jumpy" He shook his head again as the other man came out with the shirts. "There. Now ya can get into yer new shirt and pants so i can see the whole affect"
