Medri was rubbing his chin trying to think of way in improve the amount of fire power coming out of the ship. "idea!." He sat at the concole and started imput lines of code.
"hit the main opening with all you got use the left over gun to try and hit straggler.. narrow the beam by ten percent!."
Medri grinned wickly as the ships gun started to fill the hole where the Coralions (SP) where comeing from with enought fire power to take down half the UF strike force. "Hey guys THe ship will handle the big stuff you guys get the ones that get away."

"Oh! um, right-! I'll see what I can do..!!" Gray mumbled, still dazed by the display of power.
Since when could Mercury fire a laser like that?
A mixture of fear and excitement when through his body as he scrambled up over smoldering coral bits towards the cracking pillar:
By now, the hole had widened and green light was flickering from inside; evidently, Mercury was bucking like a horse all of a sudden....
Gray struggled up the writhing Coral branches, reaching into the hole.
After even just a few minutes of silence, he already felt incomplete. He found himself wanting badly to regain contact with his LFO.
In the smoking rift, his hand touched warm steel.
WHOLE!!
"AHH!"
The was a blast of energy when Gray's hand touched steel, and suddenly
his mind was reconnected to mercury with a resounding metal yell of satisfaction from the LFO.
Gray tumbled down; the re-linking a explosive mental collision.
Crashing back down to the floor, Mercury tore free of the pillar in a haze of rubble and cracked coral; as if energized by it's pilot's touch.
Gray struggled back upright as the LFO stomped out of it's cacoon, steam pouring from it's gleaming metal body; now restored to it's proper metalic luster.
"m-mercury...?!"
Gray stuttered, shocked.
The machine above him was distinctly his, but it was....
Mercury's form was slightly bigger now, and the part of the back that extended out for cockpit was longer. The armor was sleek, but elongated in places....navvy blue armored plates jutted up at the knees and the elbows, and Blue slashes etended down the smooth mouth visor from under the eyes.
The Shoulder plates seemed bigger, as if something had been added to them...
But, just what, Gray had no Idea...
As the Mech came to a rest, Gray scrambled up the side of it, trying to get in as fast as possible-he'd no clue how Mercury had changed, or just what that laser had been, but the ceiling was quaking and Gray didn't feel like seeing just how long it would stay up....
"-this is why you needed to come back? To become...This?"
Gray wondered aloud before climbing up onto the back of the LFO. Interestingly enough, the cockpit hatch was already open....
Gray didn't pay much attention to this, but as soon as he jumped in, he realized something was...Missing.
".....No Way!!"
The entire cockpit had changed completely; the controls minimized and the entire chamber had become a glass-like sphere; there was a flat spot like a cockpit chair; but no joysticks. Past that, however, was a massive, circular structure that seemed like a organic frame of some kind, with four holes in it.
Gray touched it experimentally.
The holes suddenly opened wider. Curious, Gray placed an arm in one of the sockets, as though he was trying on a jacket.
The hole closed around it.
"...!? Eh!? Mercury-!?"
Gray cried out, panicked.
....New equals. Power equals. Normal, equals. Rest.
Gray uncertainly interpreted that to mean that the frame-thing was okay to "rest" in, so he proceeded to place his other arm and both legs into corresponding sockets.
Contact was immediate; so much that it took Gray's breath away.
More so than the controls ever had; he was nearly fully interfaced with Mercury; it's power suddenly coursing through his body. Controls suddenly seemed primitive and stupid-This linkup gave him direct control over it's functions...That, and triggers had suddenly slid into his hands inside the sockets.
Pulling one, Gray opened a comlink Screen; and closed the Hatch.
"Kayako! This...You wouldn't believe this! Mercury's transformed into something insanely powerful.....I'm not sure, but I...I think I can move it..."
Gray related Breathlessly, experimentally attempting to move Mercury.
the Mech took a solid step forward.
"Excellent! It works...okay...I think I've got it. Let's...go, Kayako!"
As Gray spoke, Mercury mimicked his movements, turning to look at Kayako is if it where human.

"Excellent..? What are you, fifty? Nobody says that anymore..."
And Kayako...? Kayako was not impressed, not in the least. She stared in an annoyed fashion at the little image of Gray on her screen, noticing the new 'upgrades'. For a moment, her worry for Asuka subsided so a new, odd sort of emotion took over. It was like half jealousy and half annoyance.....And then her eyes started to turn red. She looked to the side, and Senturi turned away as well to begin moving out of the fissure. Surprisingly, it wasn't Gray she was feeling this towards, it was that LFO of his!
"....Do not attempt to act as though you thought of this on your own! You merely copied off of what this one was from the beginning, as I doubt the center would be so unimaginative. You may act superior but to this one you will always be a child!"
As if it weren't obvious, the girl's voice wasn't her own while she spoke these half-insults. And even more obvious was who's voice it was, and why Kayako's eyes went back to normal afterwards and she seemed slightly confused.
"You definitely a girl..." she mumbled to her LFO as Senturi started walked ahead in what seemed to be attempts to ignore certain other archetypes. When it reached the end of the tunnel, it grabbed one of the chain hooks and started climbing back up the fissure wall, waiting for the spot where the trapar started to thicken.
(((This is how I feel. Oh and....Sho, don't play dumb. If you copy off me one more time Imma hit you with a shoe until you stop thinking.)))

The anti-body's slowly but surely started to lose there number's but it would take some more time to completly finsh them off. Twilght and Silence and Ragnarok, where doing there job's of taking them out but it was mostly all Ragnarok doing the huge damage.

((I think my next post of coralians will be the last, since they don't stay around for that long, so I think plenty of time should have passed by then.))
The coralians numbers began to dwindle, but they still immensely out numbered the humans. They continued to wage their barbarian attacks, chomping out huge spherical bites of machines and buildings. The majority of the creatures that headed in the Ragnarok's direction were obliterated by its powerful fire power.

Medri had opened his way into Quinn's music and was looking around for anything good t oplay while the butcher fest was going on outside the ship. He still kept one eye on the computer just in case any bugs showed up, that way nothing would really go wrong right? "Damin Little man this all you got in here..."

"What, what better music is there for a dogfight than Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da?" A loud explosion rocked Quinn out of his chair, throwing him into a pile of discs underneath the console. He shuffled through them quickly, finally passing one containing Frankenstein to Medri. "This should work for a little bit, I guess. Got anything better?"

Twilght turn and came down on a 90 degree angle and he radio Medri. " Hey ever here of the game one up?" He laughed a bit and went on the killing of the anti-bodys.

((Ok, TIME TO TERMINATE. evil ))
On the eastern horizon, the sky began to turn from a blackish blue to a soft yellow. As the Twilight and its pilot were distracted by one group of marauding anti-bodies, one of the larger ones came at it from behind at a high rate of speed. As it shortened the distance between itself and the LFO, it opened up its large maw. Energy began to assimilate there, conglomerating into a large spherical shape of violet energy. Just as the coralian was going to finish its suicide run, it stopped just short of a couple meters from the Twilight's back. The energy ball dissipated and the coralian turned from a sea green to a white color. All the coralians surrounding it and going out turned to the same white which spread spread like a shock wave. Once all the coralians were that same bleached color, they all began to fall to the ground, dead. The short amount of time coralians have to wreak havoc was over.
As the last of the coralians fell to the ground, the sun finally peeked over the edge of a distant horizon, slowly revealing the carnage and aftermath of that night.

The warning alarms went off then stopped. Reiku turned Twilight to face the eastern part of the sky and saw the anti-bodies drop to the ground. Reiku swept his brow and radioed in. "For some odd reason the antibodies have died instantly from the sun's rays." He opened a link to Kayako and Gray. "Hey you two the antibodies just died for some odd reason... any idea why?" His voice was shaky from what he saw on the ground, it was going to be a heck of a clean up.

One of the communications people lucky enough to have been inside the hangar responded to Reiku's query for she had somehow magically picked up the call to Kayako and Gray.
"That's actually just a coincidence," she spoke. "There have been plenty of other anti-body attacks lately and all of them have happened during the day. Anti-bodies can only stay alive for a certain period of time; something over twelve thousand seconds. It was just a coincidence that they died as the sun rose. Anti-bodies and the sun are not related in anyway."
((Seriously, there isn't a connection. I was going for something there with the sun rising on the carnage, man! I was being artistic! xp ))

Quinn stood up and looked out the front windshield as the coralians felt down to the ground. "Whoa, they're molting! Awww, man... does this mean it's over? I didn't even get to do anything!" He kicked his chair lightly while a loud bang was heard above him. When he raised his head, there was a large dent about three meters long and two meters wide.
"Blast, they're falling on the ship! Stupid things. We should probably take off to get out from there." Quinn threw his hand to his chin, and looked to the left questioningly. "Ya know... I never named the ship." Another body fell on another part of the ship, rocking it slightly to the side.

"Oh yes, everyone worry about Kayako and Gray..." Asuka mumbled under her breath, barely audible to anyone. In truth, she just felt like saying it. Out on the battlefield, Silence tore one end of it's new javelin out of the body of one of the fallen corallians, taking some time to make sure it was relatively cleaned off. No dragging in decaying bodies now....
"At least it works..."
At that moment, an arch of trapar flare-up could be seen heading towards the Triga facility. And riding the wave ahead of it was Senturi, aptly leaving Mercury far behind it. It was hard to tell whether this was Kayako's doing or her moody LFO's, but all bets were probably on the black and violet mech.
"Asuka, did everybody-"
"We're FINE! See..I told you we could handle it. And we did it with only half the mess you usually cause....give or take a body...."
The red-haired girl turned around to survey the scene, leaving her confused friend to ponder why Asuka was suddenly acting to bold. Just awhile ago, she'd barely said anything to anyone.
"Well, I guess jealousy must be her 'trigger'...." she whispered, then looked down to the little image of Gray.
"Gray hurry up, it looks like they took care of it already. Of course...you realize that I'm not moving decaying bodies on my OWN..."

" Quinn move the bird back into the hanger then come out side and help us clean up this mess." Reiku sead with ease as he looked out over toward's where Senturi and Mercury where coming in. He then radio to tolly. " Tolly after we clean up I gotta ask you something okay? " He asked kindly and waited order from the purple hair girl. Twilght started to beep reiku open up the power unit to see what was wrong he saw it was geting low on power and it was loseing power ever few second's. " Asuka il be back in the air in a few im having a a problm k?" He turn twilght slowly and landed in the barly standing hanger. He jumped out taken the drive with him, now the scitenst could start to reinput power into twilght.

"interesting... they all just died." Medri shrugged and got up from the weapons console. "good job By the way... To everyone and the ship." He patted the nearest bulk head.
Bloody well I did job... I do have a brain far beyond that of a human
"Ya but your suseptable to codes we arn't.." medri smiled at the fact with all the little codes he had put into the AI in case of emergency shut down, codes the thing was programed to ignore untill active. "I will beo out in bit with jenny to help the clean up."
