I watched them go. Obviously the stars knew what they were doing, so i relaxed and let them guide me through the sky. Suddenly i was shooting past Asay and past clouds, forests, plains, even over the desert. I flew fast to the village which they were already headed. Everything was a blur. I arrived at the village shortly, and all i could do was hover above it and wait....

Asay flew overhead the village and lowered herself to the mountain forest, a few kilometers away.
"This would be fine." he says and hops of the dragon. "We might encounter patrols- if any. It is best we keep our distance for the time being."
Favian walked towards the village, hoping to find a some sort of highland overlooking it. The sounds of waterfalls boomed through the forest as he continued to travel along. I remember..
"You might have been there before." he says and looks back to see where Lecta is. "He showed you."

"Yes...he did show us."a smile appeared on her face, asay walked slowly behind them"Be alert, there still may be some undead in the village..."the frail figure stepped into the smoke filled village"Oh...damnit..."it was quite the shock, the stench of rotting flesh was powerfull. Covering her nose and mouth with her sleeve, Lecta held in a gag"No matter how many battle's and villages like this you have seen. You will never get use to this..."Asay bared her fangs as she cautiously stepped around, torn limbs twitched hopelessly neerby"Dont eat or bite anything Asay...It may be tempting but it would be wise to burn it...".

I slowly landed in the village, drifting down from the sky. I ended up on the roof of the building Lecta and Favian had just entered. The smell was horrible, but there were no signs of where the stench came from....It was odd. I waited atop the roof and waited for the others to come out again....

"The note mentioned a large group of Bynatydun." he recalls. "Remember what happened the last time you encountered one? It was deadly. If it werent for Nathanial, we would have been running all over the place. The likes of these like to work underground. I believe this village to have a tunnel network of some sort, leading to a chamber. They must be all down there after extracting all the villagers up here."
Favian pointed to a tower like structure. The tower had different branches of sky walk structures which also lead to other smaller towers as well. The purpose was to get the village defenses distributed througout the place quickly but it seems that they were not intended to fight against the undead. From the main tower is a passage leading underground.

A sigh escaped her lips"I wish we knew sooner...We could have helped..."the tunnel wasnt there before"How odd..."she whispered and stepped closer, staring into the darkness"Asay...lighten it up for me..."she ordered, stepping closer. Asay reared her head back and released a stream of fire into the darkened tunnel.

"Hmm....they arent coming out for a while eh?" i contemplated for some time before deciding to follow them into the darkness. Why let them face the enemy without constant light. Asay can only breathe for so long right? So i jumped off the roof, and landed with a loud thud, and a decent "Humph!" from me. It was further than i'd judged, and the shock was paralizing. I quickly shook it off, and walked towards the building door...

"Draku had not fully explained the contents of this city has he?" he says and took a deep breath. "Alerna was once a land ravaged by greed and power. People searched for lands and would kill for them. They didnt care what the cost was. One village had a gifted woman who foretold many events. Although she was not specific most of the time, the inhabitants of the village and their leader knew man's lust for power. They constructed an underground city-hidden from the world with the help of dwarven allies. When the village gets caught in a seige, its inhabitants would flee to the city while the soldiers fight off the enemies. Some just decided to stay down there for their lifetimes. Eventually, most of the people seeked refuge down there because they had enough of wars and property damage. That is why the village was so small. Many traps and fake passages were created to get to the lost city. When the undead attacked for the last time, they triggered the traps and buried the tunnels, denying all means of access to the surface. They may still be alive down there-using the radar like structure on top of the mountain to disperse light into the village. I could get deeper into its history according to his knowledge but this should suffice...unless you want to know more? Also, that is why the tunnels werent there before. Nobody knew the secrets."
Favian continued down the dark passage, the foul odour strengthening every step. "They cant get passed the chamber. The underground forgotten city will always be secluded to those insignificant beasts."

The explanation drifted up through the dark passage before me. It came as a whisper, but i knew that if i could hear it, anybody underneath would hear it too. I had to hurry. I called my stars to my palm, and started down the dark corridor. It could be awhile before i found them. I let their voices guide me through the tunnel.....

"What you had told me is quite enough...Ive never learned the humans history but my own...What you told me still continues today...its rare to see a few humans you are not greedy..."venturing slowly down the corridor, Asay's large eyes glowed a soft yellow, marking her position, it smelt foul. It was quite dark, but luckly for her. Lecta's eyes allowed her to see. Her white eyes, brightened. Lighting up anything infront of her"Mmm, gotta love bieng a Night Elf...".

Favian took the multiple scabbards clipped on to Asay's saddle. He attatched four of them to his back and two by his waists. As got deeper within the tunnel Favian made sure that everything was in the right place so that when he entered battle, nothing he misplaced would give him a handicap. It would only be wise to prepare one's self for the worst case scenario. The secret room was not far. Light began to shine the tunnels which means the deadly foes could only be so near. As they turned towards a corner, it revealed a long, concrete hallway which showed the innards of the hidden room.
The beasts did as whatever it was they were ordered to. The distance between them was to great for them to see-or smell the lurking group.

It was a long timebefore they spoke again. I walked through the tunnel fervantly. There were no other passages to follow, which would made it easy to find them. I rushed down the tunnel as i realized how close i must be. I could've sworn i heard them breathing. The stars around me started shining brighter, and i assumed i was getting closer. Eventually my fast-walk turned into a run. I'd stood by to long in the strange etherworld, and i missed them dearly. My steps echoed loudly in the small tunnel, and i knew they could hear me. But i didnt stop. All reason abandoned my thoughts, and the only thing i could think of now was of seeing Lecta's face again...Lecta, my almost daughter.....

"Woah...Favian...stop do you hear that? Running..."she whispered and stared behind her. Her ears twitched, and her head tilted to the side. Asay snarled and stared behind her"Someones following us...Perhaps you should get your weapons ready..."Hissing, Asay turned and lowered herself against the ground. Staring ahead, waiting for whatever was following them to show themselves"Quiet Asay...".

"Hmm." he nods, backing to a wall and readies his weapon. The sounds of hasty footsteps resounded through the hallway, louder every second. A silhouette appeared before them and Favian aims the sword to its neck in an instant, yet hesitated to attack.
