It would be nice if someone did bother to critique so at least some of us know where we stand when it comes to what and where we could roleplay...

Well, I offer my services for critiquing, at least. However, I've been very busy as of late and even had the news of my grandfather's passing, this morning.
HOWEVER, anyone that honestly wants critiquing and can't get it fast enough here, can PM me and I'll MAKE SURE you get criticism that way? If that works? sweatdrop
I'll be more than happy to oblige. O.o

I'll do two for two characters.
Lenore:
The room's temperature suddenly dropped by several degrees as a figure seemingly cloaked in shadows stepped out of the shadows themselves. Frost formed wherever its draconian feet touched the hardwood floor of the tavern. Black talons clicked like the claws of a dog. The figure was shrouded in an ornate black cloak with a few beads hanging on tassels about the hood, which were white, but shone eerily in the halflight of the tavern: unicorn bone. People shrunk back from the figure, whose dragonlike tail was held several inches above the floor. If one would dare look close enough, it would become apparent that the claws on the feet and some of the scales there were covered in frost also. But probably the most frightening thing about this particular figure was not what they were, but what they carried in their hand: it was a very large, very ornate scythe made of ebony and tempered steel. Several rings hung in holes in the thick base of the blade, and strange patterns swirled across it. The hand that held said scythe also was scaled in the same deep green as the rest of it, along with the large draconian wings on its back (which had a paler green membrane). THe figure sat down at the bar and said softly (for the room was now silent) "I would like a water with a lime," in a soft female voice.
Murr, not the best ever for her, but she's at her best when I rp with this one specific person...
Jade:
The sun seemed to be rising earlier and earlier these days; it was clear that summer was reaching its end. Jade Long's eyes fluttered open and she peered out her window to see that the sun was up. She stretched luxuriously, the white fur on her forearms catching the sun even more than her pale skin. She sat up in her bedroll, realizing how nice it was that she wasn't sleeping outside, under some stall or something. She would have to make sure to thank Lady Katrina yet again for agreeing to let her stay here while she searched for a new ninja master. She combed clawed fingers through her messy black hair, smoothing it all the long way to the ends. She closed her almond shaped eyes and smiled as she combed, such a simple little task, but she always liked her hair to look pretty and took pleasure in making it nice. She opened her eyes again to reveal them to be bright purple; the same colour as the four barscales that ran down each furred forearm. The sun felt so nice on her skin...she thought she might just sit there for a while and let it shine on her through the window....
I had the thought to let her stay with another of my characters, as she is usually homeless, so that's what's going on with that...
