not realising that magus was already taking off, poke had forgotten to grab hold and as he manuvered into the sky she backrolled down his shoulders and had to grab a hold of his talil so she wouldn't fall off. "I suppose this teaches me for standing up on a kyns back when he's about to take off" poke sighed, shaking her head.

Paige offered Ganon a sad smile as he headed off with Draconis. It seemed that their plans wouldn't be falling into place perfectly. Placing a hand gently on Tare's horn, Paige bowed her head politely. "It's nice to finally meet you, Tare. And even nicer that you're willing to give me a lift." Paige didn't need to wait for Tare to lean down towards her, foot finding its place on his elbow and vaulting onto his back lightly. She was too used, perhaps, to simply mounting Shinju without needing an explanation. Or maybe it had something to do with trying to get out of the way of all the squabbling kyn. She wasn't one for confrontations.

Magnus noticed that Poke had nearly fallen off of him - nay, had fallen off of him - and lowered himself to the ground as helifted his tail over his back so she could resettle herself.

Kori (and the little hatchling, by proxy) were hanging close to Tare's side. She didn't feel comfortable at all with the squabbling going on... Bah, if only her mistress's mate was letting Hadus go.
And speaking of her mistress... Nicky looked livid. Ganon had just left without an explanation...and left her with a finicky, balky Eastern and a new egg! He was in for it later. She offered Kori a pat on the flank, then decided to sulk amongst her incredibly large flight.

"heh, tis nothing" she let go of his tail and sitted safetly between the dragons shoulders, deciding to wait patiently this time and not do anything stupid. While she was waiting, poke had noticed paige and nicky near tare and their other kyn. She remembered paige from the kyn tornament and wondered how they were doing. "hey! paige!" she cried out and waved

Magnus chuckled, and looked over at Myrrh. He shrugged, and as long as he wasn't doing anything at the moment, he might as well facilitate in making things easier for others. The great dragon 'fluttered' (as though such a beast of mass and muscle could flutter) closer to Paige so that Poke didn't have to shout so hard.

Myrrh sidled up next to Magnus, careful lest she unseat her own passenger as he did. She doubted that such a young kyn could have reflexes enough to grab hold while falling, and she wasn't keen on finding out if she was right. It was an honor that Mamejin was trusting her, a relative stranger, with her only kyn, and a hatchling at that. Craning her neck as high as it could go, she looked toward Minya hopefully, while speaking to Maggie. "Any idea of when we're taking off?"

Magnus chuckled. Looking at his mate with a cocked head, he twirled slowly (so as to not upset Poke again) to face her. "I thought we already have?" He felt a little impatient and a little anxious as well. All this tension was building up around him, and it was palpable enough for his wings to even be floundering in it. Were they never going to go? Certainly everyone had decided by now. And those who needed rides could definitely hitch one on his back. If he needed too, he could even carry some in his foreclaws. Draco laughed a little out loud, imagining himself carrying a Lunar. Glancing at Myrrh, he wished that he could, just to show how strong he was.
Addressing the public at large, he announced that he could transport anyone who needed it.

Although the squabble between the hatchlings seemed over, Tetania figured it would be best to make sure that another fight didn't break out. And she figured the best way to do that was to direct Rosemary's attention elsewhere while getting her away from anyone she might bicker with. She bent her head down to be closer to the little red kyn. "While we wait, would you like to sit on my head for a while? I could hear you more easily and we could talk for a bit. Besides, you'd get a better view of the area than what you can see on the ground."

Rosemary nodded.
"Alrighty then." Pressing her wings firmly against her body, Rosemary tensed up her hind legs like a coil about to spring. Concentrating, Rose kicked off from the grounf, leaving a very small dent in the dirt. her wings snapped open, and she flapped hard, trying to gain altitude. She crashed to the ground. She tried another two times before betting properly airborne. Jeez, she should practice taking off.
Now that she was in the air, it was easy for her to fly. Her feathered wings brushed down the air gently, using it as leverage to get herself higher. Rosemary hoped not too many Kyns and Riders saw her disastrous attempt at flight! Oh that'll be embarrassing.
Oh my! She's never been up this high before, will she really grow to be a dragon of such a size? Rosemary liked that idea. Now level with Tetania's eyes, Rosemary smiled before angling her wings upwards, then downwards to land on the adult dragon's head. She half-crashed into it actually, but caught herself before her claws might have done any damage.(If such small claws could do any)

it was one of the cutest things a rider could see, poke thought. A baby dragon practising how to fly/ And she seemed prtety good at it to for her age. Hell she could get off the ground and stay off it
"that was really good!" poke shouted some words of encouragement to the valentime hatchling. "It's great to see you have the basics done pat already!"

Rosemary glowed with pride at poke's comment. She had practiced very hard for the past few days, jumping off of the fireplace. Rowan had to rescue her when she got stuck in a bucket. No where to spread her wings in there, so she couldn't get out. She hated being stuck in that bucket. it was moldy, and she spent an hour afterwards cleaning her feathered wings.

qwerrty, slightly jealous, flew off the dragon he was riding on and started flapping his ankle wings quickly. "i can fly, too!" he said at little rose who was, in fact, a bit smaller than himself. he lifted off the ground, and after awhile gaining as much hight as rosemary did. he then said "see?"

"ermm...yeaahh I saw!" poke scratched her head. "you are both very acomplished fliers...just keep practising and you'll be able to fly just as well as any adult dragon" she hoped that sounded right
