THIS IS A GAME! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO ANALYZE! YOU can't HONESTLY apply Real Life lifestyles, policies, forums, etc, to a GAME. It takes out the fun. It makes it boring and pointless.
xd Actually, it's a forum more then a game, Gaia is only now comming out with mini-games.
But, what better place to apply real life economic theories to test and observe then on Gaia? You might not know this, but Gaia really does reflect reality to a certain extent.
JoVo, hun, I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't think you're in the top 50 wealthiest people. Yes you have a halo and yes that is impressive but Halo=/= top 50 wealthiest people. I know people who have multiple June 03 letters in their accounts, people with million upon millions of gold, and those with all the donation items twice over.
xp So yes, you are one of the wealthier Gaians but I don't think one of the wealthiest.
Regarding the Labcoats- they are selling for such a bloody high price because there is rumoured to be only about 2000 of them in all of Gaia, perhaps fewer.

The sad thing about this is that I learned all my investment tecqniques from gaia before I started applying them to the real world.
Q, I beleive that's the point.
xp Users have the chance to play the Gaia market where they only loose fake gold before going out into the real world to test their economic savvy. Gaia's wealthy today could very well be teh real world's wealthy of tommorow.
... Wait, that''s a scary thought.
gonk Vague, I think I can more acurately say what the admins want for Gaia simply because I've had the chance to talk to them. Not that I always agree with what they were doing...
If you are working on dooing a makeover service count me in! >.>
<.< I live for Gaian fashion.
xd Vague, millions won't buy you a halo I'm afraid.
As for Beta and that talk- First, Gaia has for the most part unlimited bandwidth. Not that you've never seen an error similar to "Cannot access Gaia, bandwidth exceeded"
wink So that's not a problem.
As for the inventories, when Beta comes out I'm certain that the admins will take into account that some people have undereds of items in their inventory (I think there are even a few who have close to a thousand items). So if inventory limits are going to be put into place they'd have already been done now (with the release of the v2.0 of the avatar sustem) or it would come with a storage option.
Matiko-san, why do you have to compare Gaia to Neopets. They are getting to be similar enough as it is with their user base.
gonk Though I haven't heard of any official battle plans from the admins yet. The coder who is to be working on it hasn't even started thinking about it.

It sounds hard, but it only takes time. I used to be just like you two at one point. Remember, I had to join with only 400 gold and peasant's clothing at one point, too.
Ah, but Jovo it also takes the ability to donate in massive amounts or to work the system- something that not everyone is good at.

Ever considered being a sugar-daddy, Vague?
heart I seem to have multiple people that take care of my Gaian needs. Oh it helps to get your friends addicted to Gaia who've since made more gold then you.
*just snickers at the last bit of conversation*
So, once the zombie fiasco has died down anyone have new insights?
