Fulgar said releasing his grip, in fact it probably was this kid, "I need someone who wants to learn firebending, and someone who would serve under me in the military." The boy was about 15 or 16, perhaps a year or two younger than Kurai, "do you know of anyone who wants to learn?"

Li looked at Fulgar, still gazing with a puzzled look in his eyes. "Well, quite honestly Im the only one here thats old enough to join the army...well, Except for maybe Nuiko." Li looked away for a moment, then looked back up "Well, Im not much of a bender, honestly Im still learning, but if you need me to join, Ill be happy to learn." He thought he could use this to his advantage, perhaps this military training is what Li needed to hone his bending skill.

Still very confused and shocked by how this random turn of events had probally changed his intire life, Li rushed into his room, and started stuffing his bag with what few articles of clothing he had, and strapped a sleeping bag to it. He rushed into the kitchen to see Zhen Hua and Nuiko still sitting there. "I was just asked to join the Fire Nation army, and Im leaving now....it was nice staying here with you Nuiko, try to visit me sometime....". Li rushed back outside, with his back ready. "Well, lets go."

Fulgar narrowed his eyes before speaking "I've gotten word that the fire lord has just died, Kurai. That means a new one must be placed, we are going to the ceremony to work for the fire lord, as I see that it will be good training for both of us." Fulgar paused before going on "there will be many powerful benders there, hey, we may even meet the avatar." Fulgar chuckled, as if they could meet the avatar, it was a long chance, not very likely. The boy rushed out of the building with his property in a bag on his back, ready to go. Fulgar smiled before beginning to limp down the pathway "off we go, then."
