Even annoyed, Karan waited just outside the door. Being a little upset was no excuse for him leaving Prana behind. And if he did, his head would probably get bitten off. DS and his "sisters" were all fond of her. Not that he wanted to leave without his cousin. He was fond of her himself, in his own way.
Still. He wasn't going to apologize. There was nothing to apologize for.
"Sure." Prana was mildly surprised that he asked, but she politely held out her hand and tried very hard not to look pleased. It wasn't too hard, since she was still a little worried, and furthermore didn't want to displease DS and get back to the house late.

It was an almost reluctant gesture to release Prana's hand, but he did once the girl was standing up on her own. "You'll have to lead..." He started to explain as he walked along side Prana as they exited the house. "I don't know where we're going..." He flashed a small, sheepish grin at Prana as he admitted the fact he had no clue which way to go.
When the exited the house he looked at Karan, juding him just a bit. "You ok?" He asked as he looked the other over. "Ther is nothing to be upset over... You can come back another night. Maybe stay the night next time."

Prana nodded, making sure that Waya was close behind her. Once they caught up with Karan she was more than happy to let him take the lead. She wasn't a hundred percent sure of the way back to the house herself. And she wasn't sure she wanted to talk to her cousin very much, if he was upset with her.
"I'm fine," Karan muttered, brushing off Waya's concern. "And I know, I know. I'm just sick of people... what's the word? Dictating everything. It's annoying."
It was more than annoying. DS did it, whether she meant to or not. And so did those people in his dreams... all of them kept telling him things that weren't true, and just waiting for him to react. He was sick of it.

Waya followed along at Prana's side, listening to the words that Karan said with interest. He wasn't quite sure as to what he was saying, who was really dictating to him? Perhaps the request to come home for dinner was more than it seemed...
Glancing over at Prana he felt a small blush appear on his cheeks. With the setting sun she looked beautiful. He shook his head furiously to get that thought out. He shouldn't be thinking of his friend like that, should he?
Letting out a small sigh he took to staring ahead over Karan's shoulder. "So," he started, "Is it far Karan? I never walked to your place before, even if only going half way."

It was a little awkward walking in the middle. Karan was clearly in a bad mood, and Prana was trying her best to not make it worse, or at least to stay unobtrusive. And Waya was still... a bit of a puzzle to her. Before he seemed bored, almost apathetic. But the longer they had stayed the more he started to seem genuinely interested in them, to the point where he offered to walk them partway home. Why the change?
As soon as Waya asked his question, Karan realized he didn't know the answer. Whenever he walked somewhere, he tuned out everything else and just enjoyed the walk. Sure, parts of him recognized landmarks- there was that mailbox shaped like a duck a short way from home, and the house with the bright orange shutters was near Waya's residence. They had passed the latter, but not yet the former, so Karan assumed they were somewhere in the middle.
"I'm not sure," he admitted. "We're probably almost halfway there. I never paid attention." And he'd never walked that way before anyway, not alone. DS had given them directions before leaving, and Karan had followed Prana part of the way, but it was still surpising that they'd made it as far as they had.

Almost half way there. That meant it was time to say good by. Feet coming to a halt he gently reached out for one of Karan's and one of Prana's hands to stop them. He released them once the two had stopped, offering a small smile. "I'll turn back there then. No use in me walking all the way..." Though he wouldn't have denied a request to.
He just gave a small nod to Karan, his way of saying good by to another male. Parana though, he had turned and gently embraced her. Why? So he could whisper a few words into her ear. "If anything happens just call out for me. I'll come as soon as I can. Take care ok?"
He pulled away from her, casting a glance down at her side. Why? Well Neshoba was going to follow them the rest of the way as they wouldn't even realize he was there. This allowed Waya's nerves about letting them walk home in the dark calm. God... He was starting to sound like his mother.
Shaking his head he turned and started back to the house, glancing back once to make sure they were going to be ok.

Karan returned Waya's nod. It hadn't been a bad visit, not at all. "Thank you," he said curtly, then softened a little. "See you again sometime."
He wasn't sorry, though he did hope that he didn't offend anyone. He was just annoyed, and tired. It was his right to act that way... and they understood that. Right?
Cheeks reddening, Prana nodded, still caught up in Waya's embrace. She could feel, at least a little, why it might have startled her friend earlier. But however startled she was, she was also happy that he wasn't angry with her. There was another feeling in there, but she couldn't quite identify it.
"Thank you," she whispered back before he pulled away. Knowing that she had people to count on meant so much, especially with her mother away...
By that time Karan had already continued, though slowly, making sure Prana could catch up easily. He would have to make sure they made it the rest of the way. After all, luck was bound to run out sometime.
Prana followed, looking back once, but by that time Waya was gone.

Waya had glanced back mulitple times while walking away, but when he reached the bed and it obscured his two friends from vision, he took a moment to pause in his tracks. There was a bit of longing wanting to stay with people his own age and with somewhat similar interests.
Kicking at a rock he mentially told himself to stop worrying and get home. It was already late and boy was he starved from all the walking. Continuing on it wasn't until he reached his doorstep that he heard a long distant cry of a wolf. Neshoba was letting him know the other two made it safely home.
Smiling, he trottled along inside to join his family for dinner.

Journal Post "After Thoughts"
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Waya sighed lightly as he pushed open the door to his room. It had been a long day of chores, playing with the younger siblings and then the job of entertaining his house guests before walking them home. All in all, he was exhausted! While kicking the door shut, he unfastened his fur cloak and let the item fall to the floor. He was even too tired to carry the heavy thing to the hook he usually let it hang from. It needed to be cleaned anyway...
Not trying to cover his yawn, he let out the long exhalation of breath while stretching his arms up over his head. Free falling to the bed, he got himself comfortable with his face snuggled up to the pillow. That's when he felt it, his hand slipping under the pillow to come in contact with the cool surface of his journal. He had forgotten about it.
A small smile spread onto his lips as he sat up and removed the journal from it's poor hiding spot. "Hello old friend..." He muttered lightly, shifting to prop himself against the headboard as he opened the journal to it's next clean page. "It's been awhile.." He said lightly, taking the pen into his hand to begin writing.Quote: Hello again Journal,
Things sure have happened since my last entry. Most importantly I saw Prana again. It had been so long, since I was a baby! Karan brought her over since he had a gift for me, but I think I liked seeing Prana more than the necklace he gave me. ( Though I do like the necklace too. Prana was just... )
I'm glad to see how much Karan has grown since we last saw. He seemed to be unhappy though when I mentioned it. I'm not sure why. But he is quite handsome. At first my thoughts were that Prana and he were dating, but I was relieved to know that the two were cousins! Means Prana is still... Oh! I shouldn't have these type of thoughts about my friends... Right?
They just left the house about an hour ago, I walked them home. Well half way, Neshoba took them the rest of the way. Oh, that's right. I don't think you met Neshoba. Well remember that white wolf I went chasing after? That's him. I finally caught it, ha! After the night in the woods he's been staying here.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but I have new sibling now. Tiama. She's a fa'e or something like that. She's a bit moody and doesn't seem to want to fit in. I know I was like that when I first came here but she's still like that. Shocks people too. She'll prove to be interesting in the future...
But for now my feet are killing me. Not only that but I'm exhausted from everything today. Mostly chores and playing with my siblings. Believe me, that's tiring work! Haha. Good night Journal.

Waya sighed as he closed the book, putting the pen into it's place. Even that little bit of writing was enough to put him to sleep. He then realized that Neshoba had come into the room and took his place at the foot of the bed, curled up and already asleep. Setting the journal back into it's spot under his pillow Waya moved to run his fingers through Neshoba's hair. "Good night.... And thanks." He whispered, nuzzling his face into the wolf's fur. He never made it back to the pillow, sleeping snuggled up to Neshoba.

Journal Entry "A what dream!?"
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
They walked hand in hand, together, through the forest path. Fingers laced together as they shared a moment of laughter, sunlight dancing upon their skin through the leafy trees. Waya paused, turning to look directly into the eyes of the girl he walked with. The one that had for that moment won his affection.
"Prana," he whispered the name. A smile spreading onto his face as a happy blush appeared on the girls cheeks with a happy little giggle. "I love you..." Eyes locked together, both bodies leaned closer to the other. Lips locked in an sweet and gentle first kiss. Waya released her hands, placing both of them onto her slender hips.
Timidly one had moved from it's place, sliding up and under the girl's shirt. Finger tips ghosted over the smooth skin of Prana's side. Lips parted to allow the intake of breath, "Mm... Prana." Another whisper from the male. Again he was given a giggle in return.
Before he realized it, he was laying Prana down upon a bed of roses. Prana looked gorgeous, a rose all of her own. Again their lips touched in a gentle kiss, breaking just a moment after. It was easy enough for Waya to remove the top article of clothing, revealing flawless skin. Parana's arms wrapped around Waya's neck, the boys lips attacking the smooth skin of her neck.
"Prana...." He moaned, "Oh Prana!" Somehow his own clothing had been removed, what little he wore anyway. The two naked bodies caressed the other as lips crashed in a hard passionate kiss. It was pure bliss as ---
"Ack!" Waya gasped as he sat up, his face flushed and breathing rapid. What the hell was just that? He remained sitting wide eyed as he stared down at his lap. A shaky hand rose to run through his hair, already noting at how warm his body seemed to be. Giving a shake of his head and a rather long sigh, Waya moved the covers away from his body only to tug them back almost immediately. He remained wide eyed as his mind raced for the source of the white sticky goop, could have one of his brother pulled a prank?
Laughter caught his attention and his head snapped up to look at Neshoba who lay across the room. "What the hell is so funny Neshoba?!" Waya barked. He rose from the bed, wiping the sticky white stuff away with his hand as he moved over to his bathroom. The towel he used yesterday for his shower was still there and a bit damp and was then used to clean himself off. "Well?" He demanded as he returned to the room to get his sheets off the bed.
Neshoba just stifled his snickering. //It seems you have a little crush. Oh Prana! Prana!// Bursting out into more laughter, the wolf rolled onto it's back to kick it's feet. Poor Neshoba could just keel over from laughing so much at the boys expense, though he stopped when the towel hit him. A few more giggles passed before Neshoba stood and stretched himself . //Waya... You seriously need to speak to someone. Perhaps your big brother Jason... Don't ask your mother, save yourself that embarrassment. Puberty is something mothers don't want to discuss with their sons. She'll make Jason do it anyway. And ask him what a wet dream is.// Shaking a bit to get rid of the last morning sleepiness he turned and started for the door. //Oh my little Waya is growing up! Spring has arrived!// His laughter was heard even as he walked directly through the door to head downstairs.
Waya was left standing in his room with an angry growl in his throat. What the hell was Neshoba talking about? Puberty? Was he sick now? "Whatever..." He muttered as he turned to once more go into his bathroom. He felt dirty still and just popped into it for a quick shower to clean off. He dressed in a pair of black silk pull string pants, leaving himself shirt less as he left the bathroom a towel hanging over his head. He was quick to dry off his hair and toss the towel in the pile of dirty laundry that he had.
He was quick to grab up all his dirty laundry, wanting to make a quick stop to the laundry room before he went to go speak to Jason. Waya had to know what the hell was going on, and if Neshoba thought his brother might have a clue then he was just gunna have to suck it up and ask him. Laundry dropped of, Waya turned to go back upstairs to Jason's room. He stood outside the door a few moments before he'd raise his hand and knock. Then he waited. Nothing. He knocked again , this time only having to wait a few minutes before a tired Jason came to the door and looked a bit surprised to see his younger sibling there.
"What?" Jason asked, cocking his hip a bit to the side.
"Can... I come in? I... Want to talk to you... About something.. Important." Waya explained, a little relieved as Jason gave a nod in response and stepped aside to let him in. He took a moment to look around the other's room, it was decorated so different from his own.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Jason asked as he followed Waya into the room, covering a yawn with his hand. His bottom came in contact with his bed and he turned blue eyes onto his brother. "You didn't get into trouble did you?"
Waya shook his head. "No... It's just... Neshoba told me to ask you about... Puberty... What is it? And what's a ..wet dream? I woke up sticky this morning too...." He said bashfully, reaching up to scratch at his ear nervously.
Jay left his hand up near his mouth to keep himself from laughing. It took all his self control but he remembered when he was that age and felt a bit sorry for the boy. After a moment he rose up to his feet and smiled. "Waya take a seat... This'll take awhile for you to read." He said as he moved to the bottom drawer of his dresser and removed a book. "Mom gave me this when I talked to her, it told me everything I needed to know." The book was tossed over to Waya, Jason smiling softly at him. "If you have any questions after reading that then you're more than welcome to ask. I'm going to go take my shower."
Waya looked from the book to Jason and back down again. "Mmm..." Waya made himself comfortable on Jason's bed as he opened the book to the first page. He didn't hear Jason enter the bathroom but began to read out loud anyway. "The ins and outs, ups and downs of Puberty. Chapter one...." Chewing on his lip Waya continued to read silently. It took him a good half hour to read the book, a mild look of shock on his face.
When he finished Jason was back in the room, sitting in front of his computer. He noted Waya's look from the screen's reflection and glanced over at him. "Everything ok?"
Waya just glanced up, his face flushing just a bit. "Uh... Yeah." Shutting the book he rose up to his feet and placed it into the drawer he saw his brother get it from. "Thanks.... I.. have no questions..." Quickly he hurried out of the room with no other words to Jason. He was more embarrassed then he had ever been before. Oh boy did he have a lot of worries on his mind now!
He sighed as he started down the steps, his mind thinking back to the dream with Prana. Could it be.... He really did like her? He bit his lip in thought but pushed it aside as he entered the kitchen. Right now he was hungry and he could think of the problems later on a full stomach.

Journal Entry "Home Changes..."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Spring had finally arrived. It melted away all the white snow and brought with it the warm weather. Trees were beginning to fill, flowers starting to bloom, and the birds once more singing in the sunshine. But what else did Spring mean? Well a major spring cleaning of the DeMarselle household of course, and along with the cleaning came major changes.
With the addition of Colby, Kito and Shakina, the house was beyond crowded. So Ballentine took the necessary steps to take everything into her own hands. Or at least hired professionals' hands. Contractors were hired to completely renovate the upstairs which meant all the children had to camp out in the living room. It was like a slumber party every night for them, but in the week that passed each one learned to shut up and get to sleep after the 5th scream form Ballentine.
But soon enough construction was completed and the upstairs changed to allow larger rooms for the growing kids. Each one was permitted to choose the room of their liking. Though Jay found himself completely shut out of the house with the addition of his very own in the backyard. Yes Ballentine had even go so far as having a small house built for him on the property. His own little bachelor pad. He had been completely surprised when she first told him, and his gratitude never changed when it was completed.
It only took a day for the kids to get Jason moved and get themselves settled into their new rooms.

Roleplay with Mayu. ]http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=2995181Heartless!Kimi "Hello? Could someone please come and help? Anyone? Please? Comeonnnnn, I need help here!"
All the fussing and crying was made by one little girl sitting at the base of a large tree behind the Headquarters. If one looked about 30 feet up from that point, they would see an orange tabby stranded on a leafy branch of the tree.
Mayu, for some reason, had some strange urge to bring her cat along on this glorious trip to the headquarters. They were playing quite happily in the backyard, when a loud explosion sounded (possibly some kids with firecrackers) and her beloved kitty went scrawling up the nearest tree. Coincidentally, this was also the highest tree in the landscape.
After a few more minutes of hollering for help, the silver-haired girl sank to the ground in defeat. She decided that she had better learn to climb a tree, and fast, because there was obviously no one around to help her. Ballentine Waya wasn't one to turn down any cry for help, unless it was a cry of wolf like the stories told of course! His siblings doing that quite often to tease him. He came to the headquaters again looking for either Prana or Karan. Finding neither he had stepped outside and thus heard the cries of help.
Walking around the building he came upon the scene before him and cocked his head to the side. This was someone he hadn't met before, or at least didn't recognize her.
"Um..." He said lightly, taking a few small steps toward her as to not startle. "You were calling for help?" he asked, putting a hand upon his hip. Heartless!Kimi Sitting up, Mayu nodded, then clapped her hands together in mock prayer. "You see, my kitten ran up this tree, and I don't exactly know how to climb them ... Trees, that is." She sighed, looking up once again into the wide branches of the overwhelming oak tree.
"Can you help?" She asked, glancing up at the wolf boy. "Pleeeease?" Ballentine He continued forward until he stopped at the base of the tree and glanced up. "Wow... High." Was his comment on where the cat was. He turned his head and smiled softly at Mayu. "Just move out of the way incase I fall."
That said, he hopped up to grab the lowest branch and tug himself up. First thing he did was kicked off his sandles as those would prove no help in climbing.
Branch by branch he made his way up, a fwe breaking under his weight but not faling to the ground. As he got higher and higher he got a little more worried on if he were to fall, he'd not survive it. Heartless!Kimi "Thank you!" Mayu breathed in relief, glad that someone was there to save her poor kitty. She didn't quite want to make a ruckus by calling the fire department, although her hollering had probably caught the ears of a few pedestrians passing by the building. Scootching out of the way, Mayu sat back and watched Waya climb the tall tree, hoping that both him and her cat would be alright getting down. Ballentine Cautiously he went up, branch by branch. He kept his tail tucked in close to his bottom and his ears pinned to his head. He was uneasy as the wind picked up near the center of the tree. Sure he wasn't extreemly high, but still a fall from that hight could prove to be fatal.
"Stupid cat..." he muttered under his breath. He wasn't sure if it was his wolven spirit or just a normal distaste for cats that made him turn his nose away at them. At least he didn't bark it up a tree.
Getting to the branch with the cat, he saddled it and made sure he was steady before any other movements. Legs locked under the branch, he leaned forward towards the cat that easily backed away from his grasp. "Tch..." He had half a mind to throw something at it.
Gently he called for it, a small click of his tongue. Minutes passed but he must have eared the kitty's trust as it came just into reach and was snagged up. Now to get back down without the feline bitting! Heartless!Kimi Pink eyes followed the wolf boy up the tree slowly, ready to clench shut if either him or the cat fell. "Be careful!" Mayu called up, holding her breath as Waya made his way to the branch where her kitty was sitting. She released it with a loud sigh as she watched him grasp the cat, and hoped that both of them would come back down safely. The tabby was hesitant to come towards the boy for a moment, but after being calmed by his clicking noises, came closer and closer before she was snatched up. Down below, she could see her Mayu sitting on the grassy floor all distressed. She purred and mewed, reassuring the girl that she was okay. Ballentine He smiled a little as the cat was gently cradled in his arms. He took a moment to look down at Mayu, flashing a smile though doubted she'd see it. "I got her!" He called, shifting the cat around to lay across his shoulders.
"Now stay there kitty... Or you'll make it harder for the both of us."
That said, and cat in place, he'd start the climb down the tree. All was well. At least at first. Somewhere along the way a branch snapped under his foot, but thankfully he held on tight to the branch above. A little maneuver here, another little one there. A few more branches down and - drop. Waya hopped back down to the safety of the grass.
Reaching up he plucked the cat from his shoulders, ruffling the fur a moment before he offered her to Mayu. "Don't lose her up a tree again... It's dangerous up there." Heartless!Kimi Mayu accepted the cat gratefully, and stood up from her spot. "Thanks! I thought I was going to have to call the fire department or something..." She said, petting the kitty gently. "Some stupid kids were playing with fireworks across the street, and I guess the explosions scared her. She just had to run up the highest tree back here too!"
Wagging a scolding finger at the tabby she had cradled in her arms, she looked back up at the wolf boy. Ballentine Waya watched her curiosuly while she spoke, smiling just a bit as he was made to think back about Neshoba... The wolf more than likely still claiming his bed and sleeping in.
"Cats like to go high.." He shrugged just a bit, looking from the cat to Mayu. "My name is Waya. You are?" He asked, offering his hand in greeting and then frowned a bit. Maybe girls didn't shake hands... What was that thing his older brother told him to do? He couldn't recall... Heartless!Kimi "They do," Mayu nodded, having heard of stories in which cats climbed even greater heights than her own little tabby had gone. Cats were silly little things sometimes, she had to give it that.
"Mayu," she replied, trying to think of where she had heard the name Waya before. "I've met you before, I think, but it was a long time ago..." She murmured, trying to bring up her memories. After a few failed attempts, she sighed and stopped. Noticing Waya's outstretched hand, she fumbled until she had the cat in one arm and shook his hand with the other. Ballentine They had met before? Well that was new to him. For a moment he thought back on all the other people he had met as a baby, all those people now nameless strangers to him. He had to push that thought away for now, shaking his head to clear it. Mayu's hand was released and he drew his back towards his body, using it to cross his arms over his chest.
Ok so he wasn't the romeo that his brother Jason told him to be by kissing the back of any woman's hand. No way would he kiss a compelete strangers hand... Even if it was a girl who... Wasn't half bad looking. In fact she was hot! Waya found himself studying her and staring a little too long at her breasts. A pink blush appeared on his cheeks as he turned his face away.
"Well..." He tried to sound big about the situation. "Not everyone remembers who they met that far back. I probably can't even remember my first mother.... Though I did remember Prana." He mused aloud. No... If he saw Cubi again he was certain he'd pick her out of any crowd. He wanted to find her and ask her so many things. Though the thought saddened him that it was now harder to draw her image into his mind. Cubi and Orphne's alike.
Again he shook his head clear of his thoughts and turned his eyes back onto Mayu. He said nothing, really unsure of what to say in the presence of a girl that wasn't a sister. Heartless!Kimi The cat was perched on top of her head now, nestled there like a novelty hat. Mayu gave him a confused look as she tried to figure out what he was staring at.
"I don't think it was that far back, was it?" Mayu pondered, though she knew she was better at remembering people than places or things. In fact, she could remember the people she had met on her first trip to the HQ far, far back, even though they were fuzzy and a bit distant.
Hating awkward silences, Mayu decided that she would be the one to speak out this time. Every other time she had met someone, the other suggested something to do. Not this time, she thought! Now, what was there to do?
"Want to go talk a walk or something? Just sitting and talking gets a bit boring after a while, I think..." she said, taking the cat off of her head and cradling it in her arms. Ballentine Waya frowned just a bit at the offer. More walking, he was actually for once getting tired of all the walking he is doing. Though to amuse the girl, he gave a faint nod of his head. "Yes."
Giving a simple answer, he waited for her to turn in the direction she would like to walk in. "What other legends have you met?" There, a conversation starter! Heartless!Kimi "'Kay," Mayu grinned, "Where do you want to go?" Okay, maybe she wasn't very good at picking locations. Of course, she didn't get out too much except to the park and to the headquarters, so it was a bit expected of her.
"Um..." Trying to recall the people she had met, the girl ticked off on her fingers. "I've met... Paestri, Karan, Loki, Demare, and Ink." And it was only recently too! Ballentine Waya pressed his ears against his head in disappointment. Damn, she didn't even have an idea on where she wanted to go? Home would have been his first choice but that wasn't very nice. "Doesn't matter..." He murmered, starting off in a random direction away from the HQ.
"Karan, I baby sat him when he was younger..." He stated and gave a small smile as he thought back to how the boy enjoyed the brownie. "I saw him and Prana." And of course Prana was the reason he had come to the HQ hoping to catch a glimpse of her again. Ever since his dream he had too many emotions to figure out. He silently wondered if he'd have a simliar dream of Mayu, another flush coming to his cheeks. Oh don't even give yourself ideas! He hissed into his mind. Heartless!Kimi Think, think, think. "How about the park?" Mayu suggested, though she was really sick of them by then. She had long since figured out that parks were basically the same everywhere, but whatever -- they were the universal scapegoat, or at least when you have nothing else to suggest.
"I see," Mayu responded, "We just talked and... stuff." There went her memory again! And it had only been a few days ago that she had met him too!
The kitten in her arms squirmed a bit and Mayu hugged it close to keep it from running away again. Being at the Legend HQ when she ran away was tough enough, and the girl couldn't help but think what would happen if she ran away out on the road. Ballentine "The park..." Waya echoed with a small disappointed sound. He really didn't want to go somewhere screaming children would be. Seriously, he got that enough at home. He took a quick glance around and stopped, "Let's not go to the park... How about getting ice cream?" Girls liked sweets didn't they? Even he had a soft spot for ice cream of the chocolate kind.
"I met a few others, but I left shortly after. I don't even remember if I got their names or not... but it doesn't really matter to me." Giving a small shug of his shoulders, he turned to lead the girl back the way they had come.
"You should leave the cat at the HQ too... don't want it running away on you or anything. I know I'd be upset if Neshoba up and left me." Heartless!Kimi Mayu shrugged. "Alright, ice cream. I don't know any places around here that sell it, though."
"I haven't really met a lot of people," Mayu said, "though I want to meet more. It's fun making new friends, y'know?" Pushing the door open, Mayu took a quick glance into the headquarters.
"That's a smart idea," she replied, and dropped the kitty into the HQ's living room where it landed upon the carpet gracefully. "Stay here, cat! You don't want to get lost again!" She mock scolded, giving a shake of her finger. She had long since given up trying to pronounce the complicated name that her mother had given the tabby, and resorted to calling it "cat", "kitty", or less often, "Verdi". Ballentine "You're in luck then..." Waya said as he waited for the girl, watching as she dropped the cat off into the HQ. "I know of this great place... My mother showed it to me awhile back."
Once Mayu was ready to go, Waya turned into the direction they had to go. "I do hope you don't mind walking... because I'm still too young to drive and it's not a short walk..." Smiling a bit he gave a casual shrug. "I myself enjoy walking... but I'm not sure if you will. If you get tired I can gie you a piggy back, I do that with my younger siblings."
It wasn't until after the words left his mouth that he felt a little embarassed. Ok time to change the subject, back onto ice cream! He turned golden eyes to the girl and smiled a bit. "What ice cream flavor do you like? I myself like strawberry..."
Heartless!Kimi Mayu followed suit, frowning slightly as she heard the words "piggyback". She wasn't that incapable that she had to be carried around by other people, was she?
"Walking's fine with me," she said, bounding down the sidewalk quickly. There, see? She was obviously capable of taking care of herself.
"Strawberry," she answered, "and not just 'cause it's pink." Mayu nodded, though she was also a bit fond of chocolate, and more so of the rare green tea ice cream. Ballentine He watched as Mayu rushed ahead a few steps, smirking just a bit. The possible out comes is her getting tired quickly or falling. The later of course being more embarrassing for her. His eyes wandered from her and to the scenery, then of course back to her.
The way the sun was shining down upon her, it ... "Wow..." Waya whispered to himself, feeling that small blush creep onto his cheeks once more. Through Waya's eyes it was like a porno, alls it needed was a sudden spring shower. Sure Mayu might not be a busty teenager, but what Waya saw was not the girl before him.
Waya noticed that he once more was staring at the other, shaking his head to clear the cheesy music and the fantasy playing before his eyes. Oh gods this puberty thing was driving him insane! He didn't understand how Jason went through it and survived.
"So.. Mayu." Yes, small talk was the best thing to keep ones mind off of those impure thoughts. "What are some things you enjoy doing?" The perfect conversation starter! Heartless!Kimi "Uh.." Mayu couldn't think of anything to say that wouldn't make her sound boring. "...Hm. Well, I take care of the flowers around my house and read and... stuff." Yes, "stuff" would be a perfect way to conclude her sentence. It was a nice filler word.
"And you?" she asked, turning around so she was walking backwards. She managed a few seconds of it before having to turn back around, in fear of crashing into someone or something up ahead. Ballentine Waya pressed his ears down to his head in thought. What did he do? "Well..." A hand lifted to scratch behind an ear, his eyes watching the ground as they walked. "Besides watching my siblings and talking to Neshoba... I sometimes read this book on Shamanism that my fist mother gave me. It has a lot of interesting things in it... Though I haven't really spoken to anyone about it... Just never really comes into the conversation at home."
Shrugging a bit he casually locked his fingers behind his head, walking with his arms lifted like that. "So all you do is stuff? Nothing special like talking to trees or something?" He asked, chuckling a bit. "You just have that earthy feeling I suppose.. Probably the flowers. Though it gives you a nice sweet smell... Permanente perfume." Heartless!Kimi "Ah, sounds interesting." Mayu nodded, though she wasn't exactly sure what shamanism was.. She would have to find a dictionary when she got home and look the word up.
"Yep, just stuff. Nothing special." She yawned, stretching her arms slightly. "Thanks," she replied, to the perfume statement. She didn't know what else to say, she wasn't very.. good at small talk. Ballentine Well this was going well... NOT. Waya frowned as his attempt at small talk failed. There was still quite a bit of way to walk, and that conversation hit a brick wall in less than 30 seconds. Chewing his lip a bit he allowed himself to muse over the situation.
Walking to the ice cream parlor with a girl, one who didn't chit chat easily... So maybe it wasn't the best situation, but... Could he consider this a date? He knew if he even mentioned this to his older brother he'd be picked on for months. No, this wasn't a date. For that much he was certain.
Curiously he glanced over at Mayu, noticing how cute she was. She wasn't Prana though, the girl this little boy had developed a crush on. What would Prana think if she were to see them like this? Ugh! He was so confused.
Shaking his head clear of any thought, he concentrated on just walking. Silence was working now, and why break it? Silence was golden right. Who said they had to walk and talk at the same time? Giving a little nod to himself he decided to just stay quiet the remainder of the walk. If she wanted to talk about something then she could strike up the conversation. Otherwise... Nature was good to listen to. - Still In Play

[ RP in main HQ on page 721. ]Kanth Making sure his bandages were on tight, Loki stepped heavily towards the HQ. He hadn't been here in what seemed like... ages? Months? Who knew?
All that was running through his mind was the conversation that he had recently heard. What was he supposed to start, and how was he supposed to start it...? He didn't feel like he had accomplished anything, really, but... it made absolutely no sense to him whatsoever.
He needed someone to talk to - anyone, really. Demare Mateni Demare stepped quietly toward headquarters, unable to sleep after the argument he had with Clare. That angel... He was being stupid. All the research he was constantly doing when in control of the body, all of the questions he kept asking Neko... Why did he want to learn about human magic, anyway? Demian hated secrets. He especially hated them when someone close to him was keeping them.
As he walked, he began to rub his left arm a little bit, a slight burning sensation itching his flesh. The runes had been reacting to something lately, but he couldn't figure out what. Maybe it had something to do with Clare's rebellious state... who knew? Whatever it was, it was bothering him. Sometimes he wondered if removing the bandages would make it better, or make it worse...
Nearly to headquarters, the halfling noticed a figure in the distance. Stopping just before one of the steet lamps, he watched from the shadows to see who it was. Those firey wings on the figure's back... Hadn't he seen those somewhere before? Ballentine Waya however was exiting the HQ. He had gone in at some point in time hopeing to see a certain someone and was disappointed when the other was there. Oh well, there was always another day! Sandled feet lightly carried him out of the HQ, a hand raising to run through his hair. It was starting to get longer and into his eyes constantly. Snorting he made a mental note to get his mother to trim his bangs sometime.
As if something was speaking to him, Waya cocked his head to the side. He frowned and would look up to set his eyes directly at Loki. He seemed to size him up, glancing him over curiously. Though he'd gasp a bit, and make a small grimace. Neshoba, his companion of sorts, was sniffing at Loki's bottom. Waya was just glad he'd be the only one to see that. (( IE almost no one except Waya right now can see his wolf buddy. XD ... but you can sense him there and feel him, just not see him. )) Kanth Wings fluttering in an agitated way, Loki glanced at Waya in a curious manner, raising an eyebrow at his look. Was he really that special...? Did others see what those previous guys did?
His curiosity overwhelmed him.
"... what do you see?" Demare Mateni Demare stayed where he was as another boy came into view, having come out of the HQ. This one also looked a little familiar, but only vaguely. He almost seemed to be of the same nature as Prana... His wings twitched a little bit as he felt a fourth presence, but he couldn't see anyone else. Something on another plane...?
He decided to watch a little longer before taking any action, trying to think of what to make of the two boys. Ballentine What did he see? He saw a wolf sniffing a strangers a**! But at the risk of sounding insane he kept that to himself, as well as the urge to scream at Neshoba to cut it out.
"Nothing special...." Waya muttered in reply. His eyes drifted just to the side of LOki as Neshoba moved to sit a foot away from the other boy. He gave a faint nod then and looked off into the direction where Demare was. He kept his eyes there, waiting to see if the other would come out. Either way Neshoba told him he was there. Kanth "Nothing special." A snort from Loki, as he rubbed his left arm idly. "Maybe they lied." He turned away, just barely, though still had Waya in his vision. "Who are you? I haven't seen you before," He started, speaking in a gruff voice. Demare Mateni Demare's eyes turned to the wolf boy, feeling his stare. Could he see him? Or had whatever was around let him know he was there? Without his knowing, the two red eyes above his right eye opened slowly into little slits, gleaming in the darkness. The other boy was waiting... That's why he was staring.
He turned his eyes to the other child once more, curious of who he was speaking of. They? Somehow that reminded him of the way he talked about Clare's people... The tone in his voice...
Cautiously, he stepped into the light, appearing from the shadows that he called his sanctuary. That boy had goggles... No, this wasn't Seven. Someone else that had them. Why couldn't he remember? Ballentine Waya's interested peeked just a bit as Demare stepped into view. Loki's words were, for the moment, ignored while he watched Demare. These two, he didn't know them, and it put him in a bit of a nervous spot.
Finally taking his eyes from Demare he once more turned to Loki. "I'm sorry... I wasn't listening." Well at least he was honest. "What did you ask?" Kanth "You answered, when I asked what you thought of me," Was his reply, as he turned to stare at Waya, before following his eyes.
His eyes were set upon Demare, now, and he cocked his head to the side, reaching up to toy with the end of his flame-scarf. Recognition flared in his eyes, but that was all; was he forgetting memories of the Legends he met, as well?
Disgust made his lips turn into a scowl, but it was over neither of the Legends that he stood near. Demare Mateni Demare couldn't help but smirk. They were both dogs, he realized, even if they were different kinds. There was a spiritual sense around the wolf, and... Well. This one was certainly different. It was a bit of a holy air with a hint of...
Wait. Something was coming to him...
"Loki..." he muttered under his breath, almost a faint whisper that could hardly carry itself. That name sounded awfully familiar. The fire... Such lovely fire.
"You seem to be troubled," Demare finally said aloud. Looking to the wolf, he continued, "If you are as well, it seems we'll all have at least one thing in common." Ballentine Waya just looked between the two. Well seemed like they knew eachother. He remained silent as in an all but stand off approach. After a bit he gave a faint smile. "Well it's been fun..." Well, not really. But what else was there to say before walking off?
"if you two will excuse me..." he muttered, walking between the two and in the directon of home. He waited till he was a few feet away to glance back and scowl.
"Neshoba! Come!" he really hated the fact he now looked like he was talking to himself.... But it had to be said! his eyes followed the air as th wolf ran up to his side and he'd mutter things to it as he walked off.
(( Yeah gotta duck out now. XD Bed calls. We started too late! )) -end for Waya

Waya groaned as he tossed and turned in his sleep. The early summer heat was causing him to get more and more uncomfortable as the temperature went up at night. His clothing left little to the imagination as it was, he couldn't lose anymore unless he wanted to sleep naked - which was a no no with little siblings. Even with a fan blowing on him during the night he couldn't seem to find a moments peace.
Neshoba however seemed to be quite calm, watching from the corner as the boy on the bed moved restlessly. If a wolf could grin, he would be. He shifted his eyes out to the window where the moon was rising, it just days away from the next full moon. Soon... He told himself as he got up to his feet, trotting over to the bed and Waya.
He hopped up enough to put his front paws on the edge, leaning in to spy a glimpse at Waya's face. Poor little boy... So clueless... He stated as he gave Waya's cheek a small gentle lick, amusing himself as he realized it caused Waya to calm ever so slightly. Soon everything would be going according to his plan.
Stepping down, he casually strolled around the bed to Waya's night stand, grabbing the handle with his teeth to open it. Oh how he loathed Waya for having a human body. It took a moment, though he fished his nose around to find the item he wanted. The pendant.
Waya received it as a child, a tuft of fur and a bone carving tied to the leather string. He had more than likely forgotten about it as it never left the drawer, all the better for Neshoba. Carefully he used his teeth to remove the tuft of furr, setting it back into the drawer. That needed to be saved... But the bone? He looked at the golden jewel that had been attached and snorted. You're not needed.
Grabbing up what was left of the necklace between his teeth, the wolf trotted off to the balcony. It was easy enough for him to get in and out, just having to walk right through the glass panel. Effortlessly he hopped down to the ground, trotting off into the woods. If he wanted something lost, he was going to make sure to do it right and himself. He wasn't stupid like most amateurs.
A good fifteen minutes into the walk, Neshoba stopped at a small ravine. This should do it... He mused to himself, before carelessly tossing the pendant down into the ravine. He listened as the item it the ground and nodded to himself. A job well done! With a smug ruffle of his fur, he turned around to return back to Waya.
Though little did he know that as the pendant hit the ground, the crystal broke... Some plans are destined to go wrong.

Journal Entry "The Full Moon"
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Waya's eyes locked onto the full moon that hung in the sky. The beauty of the night was of course shattered by the sounds of his siblings jumping around on their sugar high. Note to self, never feed them smores when mother wasn't home. He was more than relieved when Ballentine finally came outside to round the children up and into the house for bed. This gave him time to relax, enjoying the warmth from the fire and the sounds of the crickets. Usually the sound irritated him, but today it was nice. Mating, that was the point of the crickets song- or so the nature show once said. It was like one huge orgy in the back yard, and it got him to thinking...
// Would Prana ever date me? // He shook his head. // No way. She's too good for me. // But his mind couldn't help but tease him, replaying that certain dream he had a few weeks back. Oh gods! Think of something else. Golden eyes lowered from the moon to watch the last of the fire flies for the season flutter about. They were beautiful... Like Prana. Waya just rose his hand to smack his forehead lightly. "Damn..." He shouldn't have to deal with teenage hormones and puberty at the same time!
Sighing, he turned his head towards the woods and noticed a familiar figure walking out. Neshoba. Waya remembered leaving the wolf upstairs in the bed room and wondered when Neshoba had left. "What's he up to..." He mused lightly to himself, watching as the wolf wandered right up to him and sat at his feet.
Neshoba just looked up at Waya and flashed him a grin- or at least as best as a wolf could. // Let's go for a walk? It's a beautiful night. I found this amazing place to gaze at the moon... // Neshoba looked all but eager to get up once more.
Waya seemed to think about it for a moment, then gave a faint nod. "Sure... A walk before bed would be good..." He flashed a smile at Neshoba as he stood up, grabbing his fur cloak as the evening was a bit chilly away from the fire.
The two headed off into the woods, both just casually strolling along silently and just enjoying the night. Waya noticed that Neshoba glanced up at him every now and then, as if to check to make sure he was following. It was starting to bug him and he wondered what the wolf was up to.
Perhaps if he wasn't distracted he'd have been able to catch himself. But his foot caught on something, what he wasn't sure in the darkness, but down he went and hard. Once again he had managed to knock himself out, and the last thing he saw was Neshoba standing over him.
- - - - - One Hour Later - - - -
Waya groaned as he started to come too, his eyes first focusing on the night sky. "Ugh..." He winced, his head hurting a bit. What the hell had happened? Then he remember, he fell. Did Neshoba just leave him there in the woods? Good for nothing wolf. He had to get up and get home before Ballentine worried.
However as he tried to sit up, he realized something was holding him down. "The hell.... Neshoba?!" He called out, no wolf could tie knots with rope like the ones around his wrists and apparently ankles. "Neshoba where are you!? What's going on!?" Someone was going to have to answer some questions.
And that someone appeared. It wasn't a white wolf like he was expecting, but a man. The smirk alone made it clear who it was. Neshoba obviously had some tricks up his sleeve. Waya just narrowed his eyes at the other. "What are you doing?"
Neshoba chuckled a bit. // What? I do wonder... But. Let me enlighten you. As you've been slacking on your shamanism studies, I've been learning. You see... There's a simple way for me to get a body, and that's to pick one that has high spiritual energy, like yours. I'm going to cast out your sprit and take your body. What you do after that... Well I don't ******** care.// He laughed a bit as he walked around Waya, carefully stepping over his limbs. // It all starts once the moon rises just a bit more. You can already see the magic circle around you beginning to illuminate. I better stand out of it. // Smirking again, he took that one step needed to stand outside the circle.
"Neshoba?! You can't be serious about this! It's my body... Neshoba let me up, this isn't funny!" But Waya's outcries went unheard.
As the moon hit it's peak, Neshoba started to chant. The words were familiar to Waya but he couldn't place where he had once heard them himself. It was almost like he heard them in a past life. But as he laid there, his eyes would widen as the circle he laid on grew brighter with every word spoken. Oh s**t. He squeezed his eyes shut hoping this wouldn't work- that it would fail.
When he opened his eyes once more, everything looked the same. But what was this odd sensation? Pure horror struck his face as he saw his hands, the limbs a milky white and translucent. It had worked, and he hadn't even felt a thing! His eyes darted to the circle, and his body was gone. // Neshoba...?! Where did you go with my body?! // But there was no answer, and Waya just stood there stunned. What was he supposed to do now?
- to be continued.
