"Ruto's never in the way." She defended staunchly, not even thinking about it. "& I know they're not babies."
Looking around Rikku let out a sigh of relief. "Good, 'cause I think I shouldn't have eaten all that ice cream." She patted her belly & grinned. "It sure was good though!"
Glancing towards the door she had a thought. "I bet Ruto could eat more... he's always hungry. He'd probably like a bowl of ramen..." Rikku drifted to see bout making some & paused, blushing, realizing she did not know her way around this kitchen.
"Oh! Um, right! You wanted to know about our date, didn't you?" And with energetic abandon Rikku set in to tell her cousin about the date, occasionally slipping in comments about how she felt or thought at certain instances that she would only other wise tell Trelweny; and some Rikku would not even tell her.

Yuna giggled at Rikku as she got out a bottled soda for herself, going to sit on the counter. She listens to her cousin tell about her date, giggling at some parts. She was glad Rikku enjoyed the date, Naruto was a nervous wreck the few hours before he had to leave. Only about a few bowls of ramen calmed him down, but just barely and Tidus' teasing didn't help matters.

Finishing her tale, Rikku tilted her head to the side. "Yunie... would it be alright if I... since we're in the kitchen & all anyway..." The blonde blushed furiously.
"Can I make Ruto some ramen?"

Yuna sets her half empty bottle down and smiles at Rikku, hopping off from the counter, "Sure, I don't see why not! Besides, he would probably make himself some after he came back from dropping you off at your home!" she says, showing the girl where the ramen is stocked for Naruto and then going to the stove to get the water heated up.

Rikku grinned with relief & set to what little work it would take. Knowing her ninja, he would still make himself more ramen after taking her home. The thought made her giggle.
She was glad to be doing something with her hands & set Azure carefully down. "Yunie... I never got a chance to thank you..." Setting the ramen things aside Rikku pulled Yuna into an even fiercer hug than before. "Thank you, Yunie. Thankyouthankyouthankyou!"

Yuna was quite surprised from the embrace and she hugged her cousin back tightly. But she pulled back a little, holding Rikku's arms in her hands, looking confused, "Why are you thanking me Rikku?" she asks.

She blushed. "For helping me see... for setting me strait... for giving me courage..." Rikku gave her a sideways grin. "Oh, Yunie I'm just so glad you're here!"

Yuna was still a little confused over what made Rikku so suddenly happy and why she was thanking her. She couldn't think of doing anything recently for her cousin. She smiled gently as she nuzzles Rikku, "I'm glad you're here too!! Would have been lonely!" she confesses in a whisper.

Rikku blushed. "Aw... you've got Tidus..." She ducked her head slightly, even though she knew having a guy was not the same as having a girl friend to talk about said guy with. That made her giggle. "Hey! I've told you 'bout our date - now what've you & Tidus been up to?"

Yuna felt herself blush, but she smiled happily, "Nothing too exciting really! We have just been spending time together, getting to know the rest of the family!" she explains.

"Really?" She looked disappointed. "I guess that's fun too. When Relm & I first joined our family we all when to a beach together to get to know everyone. That was lots of fun!"
The ramen was nearly finished & the Al Bhed went to check on it. "Don't you want to just kiss him?" She was a brilliant shade of crimson despite her fur. "I dunno which was harder waiting for today... just not seeing Ruto or not getting any of his kisses..."

Yuna giggles, "Well, I didn't say we didn't kiss..." she says, blushing and looking down. She giggles at her cousin. Her and Ruto were so cute, especially since they pined for each other in basically the same fashion. Once the ramen is done and set down, she pulls Rikku out of the way, knowing exactly is coming next.
A second later, a loud declare of "RAMEN!! is heard and the shinobi zooms his way in, bouncing in front of the prepared meal, saying the name over and over again.

Putting her hands over her mouth Rikku giggles with glee watching the shinobi's reaction. She bounces a little too, finding Naruto's enthusiasm infectious. Finally she manages around her giggles. "I thought you'd still be hungry!!"

"I am never too hungry for ramen!!" he declares, finally finishing the countdown in his head. And soon he is at the table, slurping up his meal happily, his tail wagging about behind him. And also it could be noted his suit is incredibly wrinkled and he would probably be fussed at later about it.
Yuna can't help but laugh a little over Naruto's antics, stepping away from Rikku as she bounces. She pads over to the kitchen entrance, smiling as Tidus enters and trying to smooth down his usually messy hair.
