 地蔵菩薩是Oh, that's not lame. I'll tell you something that was really lame. When I
was still in High School, in the eleventh grade, a friend and I began to
play D&D with a twelth-grader. It also so happened that in that year,
Pokemon had first come to North America. It hadn't really caught on yet,
so my friends and I were enamoured with it. (The subsequent fandom and
over-marketing killed it for us, though.) Anyway, in our first D&D campaign,
our characters made an appearance for the first time, speaking out the
entire Jesse and James' version of the Team Rocket mantra! The blank
stares we got were priceless! xD  萬知通

So I went to my Jobs First Orientation this morning, and received some information about the program, and what is expected of me. I have to get my bank to fill out a sheet so that I can begin to receive an allowance while I look for work, and I have to write up and print out a resume. So I'm going to write a resume here, at home, and then tomorrow I'm going to go downtown to have the bank complete that form, then I'll go to print off some resumes, and I'll look for places that are hiring for management positions, which I am interested in. I've also been referred to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, who are hiring right now, and I'm pretty sure I'm qualified for the job. So we shall see.

I just got done flipping through a book about resumes and how the boss doesn't care about anything about your life, they just want to see that you're qualified. Of course then again they may never look at your resume and want to meet you in person. The first thing you always want to say is "What can I do for your place" or something along the lines of "I will make your business faster/bigger/more efficient" etc. It was interesting, they said basically humans applying for jobs are just tools, you're like a product. They look at you, if you do what you're told then you're great. If you don't, bam you're gone. Books can actually be interesting....

I'm sure he's been in highschool and has taken the same classes we took.
You're also supposed to, in a sly way, ask for the position at the end of the interview, because alot of people don't.

Yeah, I've been working ever since I graduate from High School, six years
ago, so I'm definately familiar with the whole cover letter, resume, interview
thing. Now I just to do it all over again. That's the annoying part. Blech. 萬知通
