"Fickle?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "Beautiful? What are you talking about?" She was obviously missing the humor and the joke. "It was just a slight scuffle with two vampires and a Lycan. Not much to report."

A flash strieked through the blakc shades as he turned and gave a laugh at William's comemnts. "Indeed, it seems you have. I actually thought of joining the theater myself, though hunting the stalkers of the night, for some reason, appealed to me more." He gave a sarcastic shrug as he listened to William continue.
"I'll tell you about that little incident later, or perhaps Lydia would form what she saw of it. But I havn't been too bad, the room is quite nice if I say so myself, and Haven seems to be finally getting up on it's feet." He patted Jackson on the back and took a swig of his drink, placing it down in-between softly and in a quick manner.
"So what about yourself? The ones up front told me about a half shortage of energy for a few minutes earlier down in Haven." Then he thought of Krii'Ouse and what his job was. He took another drink and listened intently to his surroundings and to any reply he would recieve.

"You were there for most of the skirmish, no?" She asked Len, looking at him. "I am sure you could give a more detailed report than I could." She turned back to Jackson. "Room thirteen is quite satisfactory, I am sure."

Will shrugged sheepishly. "It was just a joke, Lydia. You can move into Room 13 whenever you like, get some of the guards to help you if you want."
Turning to Len, he shrugged again. "I haven't been up to much, Len. Tell me about this incident in detail later, ok? There's been some unusual activity in the city and I have to examine every incident."

She still looked confused. "Oh...okay. A joke." What in the world? "If you do not mind, I would like to go see my new living space." She downed the drink without showing any signs of brain freeze. "Thank you for the drink." She set down the glass and headed off to Haven.

Len nodded as Lydia walked away. "So, she's like that to you too huh?" he gave a sigh and took another drink. "Well, it's okay, I'm sure you'll get to her eventually." He set the bottle down and looked over William's to see Lydia close to the entrance to Haven. He grinned and looked back to William.
"Hell, if you got no where to go right now, I'd be happy to tell you about the incident. It was pretty interesting to say the least. I indured merely a scratch, if you can even call it that." He gave a chuckle and downed some more of his beer. "So, shall i give you the report sir?" He said in a commically official tone, while giving a salute with the beer bottle.

Will laughed and shook his head at Len's antics. "Ah Len, you are certainly one of my favorite Hunters besides Kerrigan. Now Kerrigan is the first Hunter I met and got to know here in New York, and so I consider her to be a good friend. But you Len, you make me laugh. And that my friend is worth far more to me than your skills as a Hunter. I know that this business affects you as well, but you don't show it and put on a joking attitude that gets us all to laugh and keeps us sane. I appreciate it Len, I really do."
Taking another big sip of his drink, Will leaned back in his seat for a moment, stretching. Looking around, he saw that there was nobody around to overhear them. He leaned forward and started talking quietly with Len. "Len, I'm worried. I've been getting reports of groups of werewolves all across the state migrating into the city. I think that the Children of the Moon are mobilizing for something big. But I don't want to risk taking action until I know more than rumors. So that's why it's so important that I hear about every incident involving any Lycans in detail."
Pausing a moment to let the gravity of the situation sink in, Will continued. "Alright, so I want to hear everything about this incident, Len. Particularly I want to hear about anything strange or unusual about it. How many lycans? Did they come in a group? How did they fight? Did they bear any moon shaped markings on their clothes or bodies? Did it look like they might have been from out of town? These are some of the things I need to know, Len. I need every detail, no matter how insignificant it might seem."

She still felt somewhat out of place in the bar, but feeling out of place was better than remembering that dream. She put a hand over her mouth to stifle a yawn. Even with her nap she was tired. She sat down and rested her arms and head on the table. She doubted she could get any sleep here, but at least she might be able to rest her eyes.

As Will began to speak, Len nodded smiling as hr placed the beer bottle back upon the polished wooden surface. He gave a chuckle and looked down toward the table, skimming his hand along the edge. "Yeah, so do I Will, so do I." He said quietly, almost to himself. He looked back up as his leader continued and told of the recent rumers that he had been getting. Len became curious and took off his sunglasses, folding them and placing the in the shirt pocket, which was now atleast mildly dry.
He took in the exampld questions and nodded, clearing his throat to begin, and tell everything as he atleast saw it go on. "Alright, so I was walking around the city looking for a good hunt when I came upon Kerrigan and a vampire..." He trailed off, looking over to the bar entrance. He realized that Kerrigan hadn't come back. He looked back to Will and continued. "I rushed over there and eventually me and Kerrigan to up a defensive point as did the vampire. Unfortunatly I only turned to meet two advancing Lycans." He recalled the female who had thrown the knife at him, it knicking his polished pistol.
"She scratched one of my Desert Eagles..." He said, with a joking, yet annoyed tone. He then gave a slight laugh as he continued. "They didn't seem to have any moon-like markings on them from what I could see, and they seemed the basics from New York." He looked back upon the incident iin the allyway now. "They were wreckless, as if they wanted the fight to public eyes...I didn't like the intensions if they were at all."
He picked up the tip of the beer bottle and swirled it around continuing. "Me and Kerrigan ran into a large secluded ally and luckily got their attension, after which I took up my planned position as she went up closer to fight off the Lycans. I was supposed to provide back-up when the cold steel of a blade touched my neck. A vampiress had found it's way to our scene." He trailed off again, taking in the second vampiress.
"Will, I didn't like it, two other vampiress' came while the original vampire never showed up. One attacked me as well, but the other halted the whole fight..." He looked to the rather curious expression on his face. "The two Lycans seemed to team with the vamps, but this one...well, spoke in our defense. That's around the time when Lydia arrived, or a little before that. From there, the vamps and Lycans started to depart and I spoke with that vampiress. She said we hadn't caused a reason for them to attack us..."
He gave a soft chuckle to how that sounded and halted the swinging of the bottle, folding his arms upon the table. "That's when I headed back. I think Kerrigan headed back to her apartment because she never followed. So, what do you think?" He asked, curious of what Will would think of the whole incident.

Krii'Ouse caught up to Skiaska and began dancing with her. Her spun around, flipped a few times, and pulled out some glo-sticks. His feet shuffled around in uncanny speed and coordination.
'Havin' fun?' he asked Skiaska. Suddenly, Krii'Ouse's psychic 'ears' picked up William's distress.
*Len, I'm worried. I've been getting reports of groups of werewolves all across the state migrating into the city. I think that the Children of the Moon are mobilizing for something big. But I don't want to risk taking action until I know more than rumors.* was what Krii'Ouse 'heard' as William spoke his mind.
'Ohly s**t.' Krii'Ouse said. 'Come with me.'
Krii'Ouse lead her over to William.
'Sorry William, but I heard your thoughts. I don't like that.' Krii'Ouse sat down next to Len and William. 'When did you get these reports?' he asked quietly. 'Y'know, I did notice a few guys with crescente amulets on a few days ago, at the shoppe downtowne. I didn't like the vibes I got from them. I should have known something was up, I couldn't penetrate their minds.' His voice seemed thoughtful and worried at once. 'Only older vamps and lycans can be that strong. I don't like it. You don't think... you don't think any daemons are around, do you? You know how I feel abut them types, compared to the others. I can stand vamps and lycans...' His voice had risen a bit in anger. 'Its a good thing I got the boys downstairs to reforge my blades with cold iron blades, eh?'

At first, Skiaska was a little annoyed at the interupption. She was ahvign so much fun. And who knew he could do that? Heh... She listened to krii-Ouse speak for a little bit and understood the importance of the conversation. If there are Elders in the city, no one is safe. Especially since HE was one of their second hands... Skiaska looked at her "dancing partner" with a few little worry lines. Listening once again, she stressed at Krii'Ouse's mention of his former tormentors. Sliding a hand into his, she squeezed it, trying to reassure and comfort him.

Will nodded as he listened to Len recall the incident. It certainly was odd. Lycans and vamps working together, and a vamp speaking on a Hunters behalf? Would wonders never cease. Still, nothing in the tale indicated that this incident had anything to do with the events which were troubling him. "Thank you for the report, Len. Although the lycans did sound to be acting oddly, I don't think that it has anything to do with the Children of the Moon, also known as the Lunites or as I've taken to calling those moon worshipping maniacs, the Lunartics. My gut instinct is telling me that something's up, Something bad. But like I said, without substantiated evidence I don't dare make a move which could expose us."
Before Will and Len could talk further, Krii'Ouse walked up with Skiaska on his arm. The white haired Hunter seemed troubled, and was looking at Will with concern. Will had known Krii'Ouse long enough to be aware of what that look meant. Krii'Ouse had picked up on his anxiety and fear and heard his broadcasted thoughts. Curses, I always forget to shield my thoughts. I'll have to be careful not to project them so much, Krii'Ouse and any other telepath we deal with shouldn't have to be exposed to my problems on the mental level.
Krii'Ouse and Skiaska sat down, and Krii'Ouse started telling Will how he'd seen some suspicous characters that he couldn't mind read, wearing the crescent symbol which was the most common identifying mark of the Lunites. Sweet, merciful Hades, the rumors are beginning to ring with truth. The Lunites wouldn't allow themselves to be identified in public unless they were mustering their forces. Add to that the fact that a full moon is coming up... The Children of the Moon could be organizing a Lunar Hunt, a holy war. This gives bad new definitions.
Pulling himself out of his musings, he fixed Krii'Ouse with a stare. "I don't think it has anything to do with daemons, Krii'Ouse. I suspect that the Lunites are preparing for another of their small scale holy wars. If they're prepared and organized enough, they could turn Manhattan into a charnel house with the numbers that I've heard they've been mustering. We can't move on this until we have some sort of confirmation, but we have to consider the possibility of a Lunar Hunt taking place. We need to verify these reports about the C.O.T.M.'s preparations, and if they're true take action against them before the next full moon; they always begin these attacks of theirs on the night of the full moon. Thank you for the information my friend, continue to keep your eyes open for any other strange activity and consider getting Marcus to make you a pair of silver swords to go with those cold iron ones you have. You very well might need them."

'A Lunar Hunt, again? Didn't you tell me they tried that like four years ago?' Krii'Ouse asked. 'And my cold iron swords will do just fine. I need nothing else, thank you. A severence of the head will do just fine until someone with 'more appropriate' weaponry can finish them off.' Krii'Ouse added with sarcasm.
Krii'Ouse then found his hand occupied by Skiaska's hand. He squeezed her hand to acknowledge that he had realised it. He turned, and let her hand go. He headed back into the crowd, and began to dance again, spinning around, flipping, glo-trancing. His body reflected the music.
After a while, he came of his psuedo trance. He went to the bar. 'Hunter, can ya get me a bloody soda?' he asked.
'Wha'dye want?' Hunter replied.
'I'll take uh... uh...' he panted a bit. 'A nice Coca-Cola. Sounds lovely.'
Hunter slid him a bottled Coke. 'Only place you can get a glass bottle of Coke around here.' he told the air.
He found Skiaska. 'D'you want to check things out out there? Sounds like an adventure. I just gotta call someone to get them to take the Generators. I don't want to leave a manifestation down there.' he asked her, suddenly heading for a phone.
