Kaya walked through Jubilife Town, looking around at the random sights there were to see, however few and far between they might be. He happened by a small patch of flowers and noticed a small poke'mon huddled up in it."Hey there little buddy. Are you lost?" he asked it, pushing aside the flowers to find a Budew hiding in the plants and shivering slightly.

A little boy came running up behind Kaya as he turned around and tackled him when he saw the Budew."You stole my Buddi!" he shouted, as he bit Kaya's arm, trying to make him let go of the small Grass type.

Kaya got up off the ground, dusting the bits of dirt and grass from his pants, still with the little boy attached to his arm by the teeth."*sigh* look kid, I didn't steal anything. I just found this Budew hiding in the flowers here and wanted to see If I could help it find it's way back home." he told the kid, getting right in the kids face, a rather freaky effect caused by the white blindfold, dyed blue bangs falling over it and the fire red braid beyond that."Now could you let go of my arm, your mouth is making my shirt soggy."

The little boy let him go and thinking Kaya might try to run off with his Poke'mon, he pulled a Poke'ball out of his Pocket and called the Budew into it."I'm sorry. I guess maybe he's not used to me yet and ran away. I thought someone stole him and when i saw you with him, I guess I didn't even think." the kid explained.

I've never met a blind person who could see." he said, almost luaghing at the irony of his statement.

"I don't mind at all. You have every right to ask after all." Kaya said laughing slightly."I'm not blind exactly. I have what's called Photophobia, which means my eyes are very sensitive to light. I wear this blindfold, which is made of a special material that blocks out light but I can see through so that I am able to see." he explained."This blindfold was a gift from my twin brother when he found out about my accident that caused it."

"Wow. That's cool. I can't imagine what it must be like to not see the light of day properly but it's cool that your brother whould help you like that. It's even cooler that you have a twin, I've never met a twin before." Kid said as he walked out of the town and into the field of floers now."I'll stay and help you look for your own Budew if you want." he offered.
