Naeryn smiled wistfully, seeing the look on Faerra's face as Impression occured. She dropped her gaze from the pair, sensing that it was a moment not to be intruded upon, and returned her sight to the remaining egg.
Her attention was caught as a deep crack appeared in the last one. When it stopped moving, she leaned forward a little, just a touch worried. Well, I'm sure the hatchling can make it... she tried to reassure herself. She straightens, though still nervous about the egg.
She sends a gentle smile to the one hatchling wandering around, wondering who it's will turn out to be, before returning her complete focus to the cracked egg.

Kirana beamed as she had to turn her head left and right to catch the hatchings and Impressions that were occuring all about her. Even if she did walk off the sands dragonless, she would be energized to even withstand one of Riran's tonguelashing coupled with likely beating. She'd embarrassed him in the middle of a large crowd of people whom he detested. That would warrant his most sever punishments.
Jerking her mind out of the musings, Kirana focused her thoughts back on the eggs that were hatching all around her, darting her eyes between two Impressions, one of a green and the other of a brown. Even from a distance, she could almost feel the happiness surging through the pairings.

R'ign watched as more dragonets Impressed, leaving just one hatchling and a rather large egg left on the Sands. Smiling, the Weyrlingmaster watched the new pairs, many starting to make their way to the feeding tables. Sighing, she wondered how long it would be before she had to start her duties once again, with another group.
Relaxing against Glith, R'ign enjoyed several moments of rememberance as she and Kerth relived their own Impression all those Turns ago. A smile was upon the bluerider's face, slight moisture gathering in her emerald eyes.

Faerra felt the presence in her mind as the dragonet spoke to her. Mine! It hurts!! Faerra was happy, though worried for her small dragon.
Just be still love, I'll have it out in no time. With her hand on the leg of her beloved green, Faerra gently took hold of the shell fragment, and expertly eased it out. The dragonet sighed in her mind with relief.
Much better mine, your Mystith thanks you. Faerra smiled, and took out the small pouch of numbweed she carried with her. As she spread it on Mystith's wound, she stared in wonderment at the beautiful dragon in front of her. Surely, Mystith must be the most unique dragon on all of pern! Her hide was a shimmering emerald green, and it looked almost as if it was trapped withing a light mist. But the wasn't it. All along her body, from muzzle to tail, ran vines of a clear, true emerald, glittering like diamonds. As the numbweed formed it's protective coating, Faerra got up, and led Mystith over to the table for some meat.

T'thia watched as the brown dragonet ran up to her brother, she watched as it creened at him then ran, she noticed the look on her brother's face and knew he had impressed she jumped up raising a fist in triumph
"Yes! Viant! you did it!"
she yellped and hollard, she then began to waive him off
"Go! feed him! he'll be hungry!"
she grinned endlessley proud at him, she was sure he had hoped to impress a bronze like she had but a brown was just as noble, and it was a large brown at that, a good match to the bronze so she thought.

Viant had been standing watching the hatchlings with sadened eyes when a voice entered his mind
"come mine! i'm hungry!"
the tiny dragon went racing towards the food. Viant stood there for a moment and blinked, then her hears his sister calling to him and looked up seeing her beaming face, as she jumped in the snads and waived him to go to his dragonet. Viant took off at a run and caught up to his dragonet where he stood crieing for food. he was highly confused and looked around for directions on what to do once impressed. he stood next to his small dragon
"so...what's your name?"
he inquired to the small creature
"my name is Pamereth, and i one of the strongest of my brothers and sisters"
Viant smiled at the small creature's boast and gave a small laugh.
"well i am now known as "V'thous, rider of brown Pamereth"
V'thous said proudly, he didn't announce it to the stands as Kinther had done but he said it just as proudly.

The brown calmly walked towards Relek, pausing a few steps away. For a moment he studied the candidate. Calm down mine.
Another large crack ran down the egg, splitting it neatly in half. Slowly each half of the egg pulled away to reveal, not one but two hatchlings. The two looked at each other and then out at the remaining candidates. Slowly the two stepped from the shell, perfectly in sync. Whatever one did, the other mirrored at the exact same time.

Kinther looked over at the man waiving at him then down at his silver blue. he smiled
"come on this way"
he said lovingly soft to the small creature and guided the blue over towards the man with the numbweed
"those will most likely scar and make an interesting mark to make you stand out amung the other blues, but at least we can numb it for you"
he carfully guided the small creature over to help numb the bleeding wounds.

Relek watched as Viant impressed and walked off the sands, his heart sinking some more, he then watched as Kinther impressed and left the sands, his heart once again dropping. Relek looked around nervously at the other dragonets left on the sands wishing one would be his but he knew that he probably would not impress that day. he heard Viant claim his dragons name Pamereth and his new title V'thous. Relek was now getting desperat, a bronze, a blue, a brown a green anything would do as long as it chose him. he danced for a while more before a voice entered his mind
"calm down mine"
he knew it was a dragonet he spun around no longer dancing and scanned the sands for his bonded but he was unsure as to which dragonet had spoken to him. his heart sank a little further as he had the thought of maybe it was just his mind
"i was foolish to think i would actually impress"

Kirana watched the mirror dance of the last two dragonets, grinning to herself as she brushed her hair behind her ear, cocking her head to the side to study them both intensely.

R'ign smiled as the brown Impressed, turning to look at the last egg. Quite large, it was, and she had hopes of it being a bronze or perhaps even a gold. When the egg broke open, the bluerider blinked in surprise as she stared at now one, but two hatchlings. Smiling at the perfect sync the twins had, she waited for them to choose, the few remaining candidates standing hopefully nearby.

Naeryn gasped as the shell split to reveal two beautiful hatchlings. She suppressed yet another giggle as they began to mimic each other, stepping together as if in a dance. Entranced, Nae drops to her knees, her gaze riveted on the two. It's possible she would have remained even if Riran had come back.

N'vaeh though still keeping a close eye on Javareth as he scarfed down each piece of raw meat and not chokeing N'vaeh was keeping an ever watching eye on the hatching sands as all the eggs hatched. The last egg seemed to sway but never cracked feeling that the egg may not hatch N'vaeh returned all her attention to the hungry Javareth. As she fed another piece to Javareth a gasp from the hatching sands took her attention back again to the hatching sands.
It's alright Mine. There were two in the last egg. Javareth said the word two echoing in her head. N'vaeh's eyes widened at what Javareth said and so calmly like he knew it was to happen. She was totally awe struck only getting one word out of her mouth. "Wow." Javareth's small laughter in her head made her smile at him as she handed him another piece.

The brown hurried forward, rushing to reassure his rider. Here mine.
The twin hatchlings stepped forward, one going towards the left and one going to the right. Each looked about, still mirroring the actions of the other.

As the hatchlings split off, Nae's gaze somehow follows both of them, one eye riveted on each. Is... one of you... mine? she thinks to herself, gazing at the two shining hides.
