Chloe smiled, patting the Charizard, before recalling Kaze, "You'll get your battle soon, I promise," she nodded, before heading her way to the local gym.

Chloe nodded, taking three Pokeballs from her belt. She'd rely on Mikami first, then Daimon and Cael as back-up, if needed.
"Alright, Mika, this one's yours!" Chloe called, as Flannery's Slugma took the arena. Mikami emerged from his Pokeball. With his dual type of Ground, Slugma's rock moves won't be as effective, and with his type of Dragon, the fire moves wouldn't either.
Pretty much a win-win situation on Chloe's side at least.

Mikami appeared from his Pokeball, flitting to the center of the arena, eagerly facing off against the Slugma. Chloe nodded, issuing her first orders.
"Alright, Earthquake, Mika, make it good!" she grinned, as Mikami complied willingly, vibrating his wings at an impossible to hear frequency. It did the trick, however, as the gym floor shook violently, Slugma engulfed in the center of it.

Slugma shuddered, clearly weakened by the blast, as Flannery called her Pokemon to attack.
"Lava Plume, Slugma!" she called. The fire type nodded, before releasing a giant arc of fire, engulfing Mikami in flames for a brief moment, before the Vibrava was released from the assault.

"Okay, now Mikami, finish it off with Dragonbreath!" Chloe called to her partner, who inhaled sharply, letting lose a fiery blast of flames that finished the Slugma off.

"Alright, Mikami, use Earthquake again," she called to the Vibrava, who did just that, repeating his movements from before, creating another earth-shaking performance.

As the familiar glow of evolution flashed from Mikami, Chloe could barely contain her excitement. As Mikami grew further, until he was standing taller than Chloe herself, wings growing and merging into a single pair, as his tail elongated, Mikami soon found himself a Flygon.

Chloe squeaked, glomping the dragon, who nuzzled her affectionately. "You're finally a Flygon!" she grinned, almost forgetting her new badge, which Flannery handed over with a smile.
"Good job in beating me," she nodded, handing over a TM as well.

Chloe smiled, taking the offered badge and TM with a bow, "Thanks a ton," she nodded sincerely, "I'm so glad to finally have Mikami a Flygon.
"Krueeee," Mikami rumbled with a grin, nuzzling Chloe as she gave him another hug. It would take her a while to climb down from this high. Dragon fanatics were rather creepy sometimes.
"Well, I think its time to get back to the others at Dewford, what do you say?" Chloe asked, recalling Mikami and exiting the gym. Calling out Kaze, she climbed once more on the Charizard's back, before motioning the direction back to Dewford.
"How fast you think you can fly?" she asked with a wink.
Taking the challenge, Kaze roared, taking off at an insane speed.
