It had been an exchausting month, with non-stop training and little rest. But now Yumis training was finally finished, her techniques perfected and she'd learned many new tricks. 4 years Yumi had been searching for her sensei, wanting to finish her training. He had simply one day left her, without warning her or even saying goodbye, he had never even told her why he did that. But as she waved goodbye to him, she suddenly realized that everything she had done until now had been training, with or without the sensei didn't matter. And as she realized that and the sensei disappeared around the corner, she suddenly became very scared, now she had no more training in front of her, no more sensei to find, she had no clear goal in her life anymore. That was also when she finally understood how important the shinsengumi was to those without a true goal, it was a way to find a meaning in their life, a reason to live.

When the carriage stopped, they were back at the same town they started in. The young boy, whose name was Kai, had followed her back. He now jumped down after her, strangely he had brought a small bag with him. Without saying anything he gave her a note, it was from her sensei. The note was short, but the mission still clear. She was to train this boy, just as her sensei had trained her, make him a good swordsman using his very own special technique to take the most out of him. The news chocked her even more. But... this also filled her with energy, she felt there was once again a meaning with her life, something more than just to serve the shinsengumi and kill people without seeing a reason to do so. She smiled at the boy, nodded and walked down the road, leading straight through the town.

The short whisper was more than clear to Yumi, and she recognized the voice, since it wasn't really that long ago she had last heard it, besides that night was very different and she would probably always remember it in detail. It all happened so quickly she didn't even have enough time to react, the rest of the day she walked silently, thinking. Kai noticed the sudden change and asked a few questions, but since he didn't get any answers he gave up.

One of the biggest questions was why the man was after her all of a sudden. She knew the Meiji probably wanted to kill her, but why he of all people. Besides, she hadn't shown herself to anyone in over a month now, and hadn't taken a single mission in two months. Without noticing Yumi picked up the pace, a few minutes later she was actually running. She kept the same fast pace through the night and managed to make it all the way to Osaka. Since Kai was so exhausted Yumi was forced to find a place to sleep, so she went to one of her hideouts in the city. There she knew they would be safe... at least the possiblility that someone knew about the place was minimal.

History: When she was young she was kidnapped from her father's dojo and was trained in the art of assasination. She got away but became a black market assasin. She has stopped, supporting the downfall of meijing "dogs" as she calls them. She isn't sure why she hates them, but she knows they have a connection with her hellish past.

((YAYYY!! New members! Now I'm just hoping Chaos won't kill me blaugh And I think Yumi will be trying to avoid Chaos as long as possible because of the boy... yes, does sound boring, but I think it's the most logical thing for Yumi to do at the moment sweatdrop ))

Nothing happened when Chaos knocked on the door. Inside, Yumi was preparing to leave, she had arranged for some other people to take her and the boys role. Of course, these didn't have any idea why they should do so, but they were just happy to get to stay in a cozy appartement for free. She gave them instructions not to open the door and not to make any noice, especially not say anything, within the next 2 days.

Yumi opened a secret passage in the floor, in the toilet, and after she and Kai had slipped through it, the other people covered the place with a rug, one like all the other rugs placed all around the appartement. Quickly and silently they moved through the tunnel that lead to the house on the other side of the road. There they quickly moved through the huge building and climbed out through the window on the opposite side. They then walked through the busy streets, into a fish shop, Yumi said a few words to the owner and he showed them into the back room.

Lotus sat outside of Osaka, relenting to enter the city. Seh hated crowded places, no place to move quickly. Seh did however love the food in the cities, no mush made of who knows what, no scavenging. She rubbed her stomach and it burbled. She sighed finally and started down the hill, out of the trees towards the city. She decided it would be okay to walk on the side of the road. She hummed as she skip walked.

Yumi just hoped the man wouldn't notice the secret passage while she rushed forwards. Actually, this one of the few times Yumi had been this stressed. The boy was all the time slowing her down, he was also the reason she had to run away... something that she normally would not have done. The man in the fishshop had been kind enough as to give them something to eat in the back room, but she did have to give him some extra money for that. Now they were moving towards another hideout on the other side of the town. This hideout wasn't as good as the last one, Yumi was aware of that, and therefore she was currently planning multiple ways to get away from there. The house was not much different from the last hideout, but this one she would have to share with a young pair... that she actually knew, which meant that she wouldn't be too happy if something happened to them.
