((This is for the null mage in the Crescent thread. Not combat, just something yall should be aware of.))
Aiolos stopped playing all of a sudden, there was a pain in his head, that and his flute was was being charged with a strange blue energy and it was sent directly at him.
Hence, the headhurt.
The musican dropped the flute and stopped playing, the tornado started to die out. Aiolos was grasping his head, he was seeing spots, he kneeled down. Oh well... He thought, The ice was still going to be a problem...

Five shades were swimming under water. And they continued to wait. Now was not the time.
They did make their way up river slighty, towards the man with the CORE and Ivan.

Shots were being fired from the water, or so his auto-senses directed him towards. Turning on his knealt posistion to the river, still not quite back into the rhythme of things from that last shot. He breathed softly a few times and then calmed himself. Scanning his eyes over the water, he used his optics, and got a fix on the man who was floating in the water/paddling. Turning on his laser sight, it cast an invisible line of energy down range and on the upper part of the man's torso, only a red dot was visible. It shook slightly with his and the man's movements, but not enough to throw the shot. Another second and he was locked on perfectly with the man, repeating the pre-firing process of holding his breath and locking his joints. Shade fired once more, this time it was just one of 'normal' .75 calibur and near silent rounds. There was a slight tear in his arm, ow... the recoil was starting to get to him, but he figured he would last for the next day at this rate.

((Not sure if it's my turn or not. But I'm posting. Ignore it if I'm not in the right order.))
The tigers died. But the bears kept coming. It seemed like they would reach their attackers, alive if not thriving, within the next post or so.

Zen pushed himself to the limits to keep his comrad alive, With a burst of amplified speed Zen got into range, when he gained close enough speed to Mozz he sprung his shield into action as he tackled Mozz out of the line of fire, just in case barrier wouldn't hold up, and luckily for him it lasted for two of the blasts.

((I think everyone's still in, but I'm heading off to go attack people.))
Well, Ji Long, being underwater as well, would see the shades. However, he'd move past them. No point in starting some sort of conflict, and yes, he was still invisible. So, they would neither see him, nor would they be able to track him by body heat or anything since like, his suit adapted its external temperature to blend in with the environment in case someone else was using thermals.
He'd just go by them and continue along upriver away from the conflict before getting out and heading into the blazing plains.
-> Blazing Plains

Mozz rolled along with Zen, not completely sure what just happened. An eye back in the direction he was in showed that he was being shot at. Fun. Mozz stopped himself his hands pressed deep into the moss covered earth. Closing his eyes he shouted again raising the apc on a platform of mold high into the air. A wall began trying to corral the soldiers into a death bit walls growing surrounding them, covered with spikes. Then With a click of his blood belt the mold holding the apc, all at once withering as fast as it grew, and dropping the apc in the directions of the walled off soldiers . A death pit perhaps, but who knew what the gaian elite were capable of.

(( OOC: Turn order, correct as necessary... NPCs > Defending, do not ignore. Mozz > On the embankment Aiolos > On the embankment Shade > One an elevation Ivan > Standing on the embankment on the opposite side of the river from Mozz and Aiolos Zen. > On the embankment Kraun > Exiting to the Blazing Plains) Jello. > APC on the side of the river closest to Ivan (?) EDIT: Also, Mozz and Zen need to deal with the AACS grenade round. Here's the description again, so you don't need to page back to see it: AACS info These grenade rounds generally amount to adhesive goo with options. The ammonia option allows the substance to be used as an antibacterial and anti-nerve agent, while the foam is capable of directing and supressing (even if by a small degree) explosions. The foam also can act as a sealant for leaking chemical containers, and allows for the containment of suspicious packages. The AACF round contains enough foaming agent to cover 3 square feet up to ranges of 15m accurately, and is marked by a clear cap filled with a blue liquid. ))

Aiolos picked up his flute and put it away, he didn't want to risk anymore energy feedback. Instead, he paid attention to the person on the other side of the river. Well, that's interesting, they didn't seem to be on the settler side...
And it seemed that he was not, there were gunshots.
Aiolos took out his tin whistle and played a quick solo, he manipulated the wind to blow sideways, a wall like formation, it would throw whatever was comming at them to the side and down to the river.
