Nikeah
Here in hawaii, gays are not really taken that seriously. Maybe at other schools but not mine. I know there are people that just downright hate gays. (like my "friend" that is in denial about me. She either thinks I'm kidding or she is tuning out what she doesn't want to hear.) Those people usually keep their mouth shut.

I have a couple of friends from Hawaii, as well as my girl friend. But, as usual, some people just don't like us...

Not quite...more like hostile aliens trying to take over the world subtly. They attack us with words as often as possible, with violence when they feel like it. Makes me really glad I'm not out yet...

I live in Seattle, Washington, and am 17. I've been out since freshmen year, and now I'm a senior. Gay's are treated like crap, and it's kinda funny how straight guys get so bugged out by them. I get the usual name calling in the hallway, but I jut laugh at it. I love the word "f*****t", and I use it a lot too! I know, I sound hypocritical, but it's such an amusing word!!! I think that letting a word rule over your life it pathetic. It's just a word, if you let it have power, it will have power. I use the word all the time, so it doesn't effect me when I'm called it. I tend to laugh....it really is a funny word. You might think that I'm just weird, and I totally agree with you, cuz maybe I'm wrong, but if not...GO ME!!! stare

In my school it's baisically students disgression. You can be friends with a hamosexual or you can hate them. I face more of the hate though. It's sad really. crying

In Finland aand my home town Äänekoski they are quite neutral.. tough almost everyone in my class are homophobic and that makes my life to hard... because I need try to keep it secret all the time, but My best friends who know I am gay they accept me like I am and doesn't really care about me being gay. and that encourages me to continue being mostly myself and not to shame what I am. smile

Lol, I agree with all of that. I don't use f*****t though. I use f**. I'd probably use f*****t if my dad didn't use it though. I completely agree about not letting the word rule your life though. I've said the word "******" around a bunch of my black friends after they said they wouldn't mind. I'm part Mexican so I call myself a "w*****k" too.

If a conversation of mine were only read you'd swear I were a bigot.
If you saw who I was talking to you'd swear I were a cruel racist.
But if you saw all us together you'd swear I'm a pro-equality homo. ^_^

i used to live in ohio, though currently im in wyoming, ill get to that in a minute, but im from ohio, im going to return to ohio when im 18, and me, my girlfriend and boyfriend both lived there, along with the rest of my friends, three of which were bi, on was lesbian, and i never got ne crap for it, in fact, two of my guy friends, thought it was really cool
by the way i am a bi male, but here in wyoming its completely different only my best friend here knows, and she told me not to tell a soul, i dont think ne one here approves of it, they would rather ******** a horse or something than someone of the same sex, earlier this year, someone overheard me talking to my friend about me being bi, and they told the whole school i was gay! i was totally humiliated, now everyone alienates me and i only want to return to ohio were i can be with my girlfriend and boyfriend and be happy god damnit stressed stressed stressed

I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada... and I think I am bi... or between Bi and Straight... I am also a bit crazy though ^-^'' I've had a few upsetting dreams about me and my best friend in which we were in a relationship or ended up in one. I had one where she was getting married... and I was crying, it was horrible... I just wanted to wake up but I couldn't. I think i may have a crush on her but I don't wanna scare her away by telling her this. I made friends with one of the school lesbians a few months ago but I haven't really become friends.. we just kinda say hello when we see each other. I am really open about boy/boy and girl/girl love. I don't wanna tell anyone I am bisexual cause I am not really sure... but the dreams of me and my best friend, and sometimes other women, are kinda gettin to me. But I also like guys cause I sometimes dream of having a great snog with a guy, ya no. Also, gay ppl aren't really that appreciated in my school and tend to be picked on...

straight guys at your school might be bugged out b/c they are probly closed minded or think you are going to flirt w/ them or something. If I thought you were weird, you wouldn't be the only weird person I know of. If you want to know what I'm talking about, PM me.
