Without giving a rat's rear of being attacked, Dimitri proceeds to systematically loot and burn all the corpse. "May you sleep peacefully upon the womb of the Earth mother."

TionneDawnstar ((You easily find the place, using the map provided, and on the way up there, you only see a few ransacked and burned farms, which are ripe and bug infested from the carcasses of animals and people alike. You come into the crypt area on the east, the road runs clear up to an ornate and weathered door. Two mausoliems stand on either side, one is quite large and heavily worn, the other is small, and better preserved. The map is what you see in the immediate area. What do you do?))

((there were some on the way to the crypts, but there aren't any right outside the crypts. I think the ones we saw were the cause of the raids. So they were on like, farms and such, on the road to the crypts. If we want to discuss this more, we should probably take it to the OOC thread though.))

After a long moment of silence, "The more important question is why shouldn't I? We'll never never have time to bury them all and by the look of the bodies, noone else bothered to either. Unfortunately, because of the mission I don't have time speak kind words to each individual, to kiss each good bye, to sing a song to ease the lost of their lives, nor do I have the resources at the moment to give their spirits a payment to the afterlife. All I can do now is give a single, general prayer and burn their bodies so they can neither rise up nor will they have the need to find a resting place. The world shall be it." Facing the burning bodies again. "Sleep well my friends. If I return from this assignment, I shall bring with me your payment as well as the best tea my village has to offer. Until then, may your spirits wait in patience and your bodies return to nourish the land."

((Alright, for those of you that have decided to look at the larger of the two structures smile )
Great stone double doors bar the entry to this ancient mausoleum. The doors or the lintel may have borne an incription or crest at one time, but centuries of rain and wind have worn away markings, just as they have worn away at the whole structure, leaving cracks in the walls.
((Spot check for all of you looking at the larger structure. For those of you looking at the small one smile )
A single, massive door bearing a weathered but still visible family crest marks the entry into this crumbling mausoleum.
((For you guys looking at the small structure... I need Search Checks))
