She pushed the large doors open, and sighed.
"Actually, you're on the 3rd floor... But if it's okay with you, we can use the cargo ports and teleport up instead of walking?"
She really needed to make a suggestion that they install some sort of elevators in this damned place.
In the very center of the front hall, across the room and parallel to the door, was a large corridor that led to the rest of the main level. On either side of that corridor was a winding staircase that led upwards. One for both the west and east wings of the building. The front hall was very similar to that of a grand hotel, designed for receiving people before they were directed to whatever area they were needed. The decor was lavish but not vulgor or overdone. It spoke of history, the wall hangings and tapestries telling stories from era's past.
The entire building's lighting system, ran off a combination of mage lighting and natural firelight, bathing the room in a soft glow.

"Cargo...ports?" Well, he guessed it was better then the stairs from the look of relief on her face. Sun took in the room and whistled in appreciation.
"How much did you guys travel, eh? Some of this stuff looks a little...out of place, right for the room, mind, but out of place all the same." Another sweep. "And they trust me enough for no kind of security?" He raised an eyebrow at that and looked down at Aiysin.

"Generally... the only people who are permitted to stay in this building in the way of residence, are royalty and dignitaries from political positions who wouldn't dare steal on the account of, it could cause a conflict or lose them a valuable ally. Other than that, a few of the Lady's closest and most trusted friends and companions have been honoured by staying here... there's never been a need for that kind of security."
She would lead him down the center corridor and around a corner to the left, a small room with another spell circle on the floor was all that was to be seen. The circle was different in detail from the one Sun had seen about the tree however.
Once they were both standing on it she made a 'Here we go!' face at Sun. Aloud she simply said.
"Up two."
And up they went. to the third floor's portal closet.

"Don't I feel spe-" It felt like a chunk of himself moved before the rest of him and he windmilled a bit as it all came together on the third floor. "cial." He finished, determined to regain some lost dignity by at least finishing the sentence.

Sunstrike would be able to take comfort in the fact that, Aiysin also seemed a little out of sorts from the teleportation. One hand strayed to her stomach as she looked unsettled, the other still supporting sun as she smiled weakly. "Sooo different from gating... I don't think I'll ever get used to it." She would lead him to the right, around a corner and down the hall. They passed several doors before she stopped. Slumping against it slightly, she nudged it open awkwardly, nearly falling over in the process. Her hand grasped in the darkness before it found the light switch that acted as the cantrip to trigger the mage lights.Soft orange light illuminated the room as she smiled and helped sun over to the bed. "I hope this will be satisfactory enough accommodations..."

Sunstrike blinked and rubbed the back of his neck in a bit of awe. Everything was warm and comfortable, it was almost alive with it.
"It's really nice." He couldn't say much more then that as he looked down at Aiysin. "Now I really do feel special." Sun grinned, one of the first real ones he'd had in a while.
"Is this where I say where's the shower?"

The woman grinned and nodded. Helping him skirt around the bed and behind the silk drapes, revealing a passage into another room. The bathroom. It wasn't as big as the bedroom, but it was still rather massive. It alos contained another slightly smaller less fancy bed. She grinned as she gestured to the second bed. "S'for treatments. If you ever need medical attention and don't need to be moved to the infirmary, they'll shift you to this bed so that you're closer to everything else. It' smaller and less fancy... but it's a little more practical."This was the justification she'd come up with for having a semi-bedroom in the bathroom area too. Personally she really didn't much see the need for it. But then again, some people really disliked spending time in an infirmary.
She helped him over to the tub so he could sit down on the edge. Soaps, Oils and Shampoos were already laid out. These rooms were always kept at the ready. "Would you like to bathe now? If so I shall take my leave."

Sunstrike had already taken what was left of his shirt off, exposing a whole chest full of bruises, scratches, and two large sun's that decorated his right shoulder and hip. Despite the damage and the grit, he wasn't bad looking, if a little pale.
He looked at her, even as he started to unbutton his jeans, Sun was so tired, it didn't really seem to affect him that Aiysin might see him naked. Once you got passed the eyes, the rest of Sun was fairly cut and dry anyway, so he didn't see the need to be too ashamed.
"Sure. I should be alright now, was there anything in paticular I'd have to worry about when meeting the rest of Gaurdian?" The pants hung around his hips, undone, and sinking dangerously low as he reached over to get the tub running, moving the decorations carefully so he didn't damage them.

Don't show weakness. Don't show weakness. DON'T-- SHOW--- WEAKNESS! Her face was a brilliant shade of crimson as she forced herself to keep eye contact with Sunstrike. She would not look away-- she would not give him a reaction (aside from the obvious heat blazing across her face).
When she opened her mouth to speak, it was only a little higher than normal. That wasn't so bad--
"No. And don't worry, it's not like the entire fleet is going to converge in here and grill you for answers. Besides myself, you'll probably be working with Kimiho and I should think Reiyvian---
I'll be back in a while. I'll bring you something to eat and a change of clothes.... Anything you prefer? The food I mean?"

Sunstrike blinked at her sleepily, swinging his legs over the other side of the tub, waistband hanging low.
"Food? I dunno, I like grapes," He suddenly purred. "And strawberries." Happy thought, getting things like that might not be too hard here. "Oranges are nice too."
He looked down at the water, and didn't look at her for a moment. Before she could completely turn around though, his voice traveled.
"Aiysin."
Sun would wait for her to answer before looking back up.
"Is...everyone as mad as you are about me?" The look in his eyes were criptic and unreadable.

"I'll bring you some fresh fruit then!~"
She had turned to exit, but his question halted her. To her it felt like his gaze was boring a hole in her back, but that was just her paranoid awkwardness.
"I uhh... Hmm."
She turned around slowly and faced him somberly.
"Nobody's really so much mad at you Sunstrike... as they are worried about Sierra. She's our staple you know? What keeps us together, lets a place like this exist and provides us with a home... a way of life we never dreamed possible for people like us... She was the first being to show many of the people here conditionless compassion. For the most part however... Not many people know about you. Or what's really going on."
She tried to smile reassuringly.
"My squad is in charge of central intelligence, that doesn't really concern the other squads unless we involve them with an operation, or if they ask for our assistance in one of theirs. Even within our squad, such delicate matters are only handled by a select few... Outside of us... only a few Seers and Oracles know of you and what's happened."
She turned to go again and then halted, something coming to mind. She looked hesitant, like she should tell him but didn't really want to.

Sunstrike's head tilted, taking in most of what she was saying and processing it. He finally nodded, reaching back to turn off the bath as he did so, speaking over his shoulder.
"It always feels so terribly complicated, like there was a story that was established, and someone came along and introduced a character right in the middle of it..."
He blinked at her, taking his jeans off and letting them fall to the floor, propping his good leg up to hug while he waited for her to continue, when she didn't he looked puzzled.
"What's wrong?"

A squeak escaped her as he dropped his droors. She felt suddenly dizzy. It had just gotten reeeeeeally HOT in there. N'it wasn't entirely from the bath steam either x_X;;
She gulped past a knot in her throat and finally she picked out a point of focus just above his right shoulder instead of staring at the oh-so nice arrangement of man flesh.
"Just be careful of Shin... You and Vahn both, once he gets here."
She sighed and ran a hand threw her hair as she sported a small explanation.
"He's from Sierra's world... he's been her bodyguard since his father found her as a child half-starved and more than a little crazy in the woods. After his father died and she vanished from their realm, he tracked her here and has refused to leave her since.... that was eras ago."
Something about her tone sounded guilty now...
"He's in love with her. One sided... but true as true can be. He hates Vahn... I don't know how he'll feel about you. Sierra doesn't much care for him... he did something wrong before they both fell here. It's one of the only grudges I've ever witnessed her carry...."

Sun's teeth clicked together a few times in embarassment. Sheesh.
"That's all we need, more drama. As if the world going belly up wasn't enough."
He looked up, then blinked at her in concern. "A-are you okay? You look kinda warm..." Sunstrike actually got up, holding a hand out, the metal bands around his leg actually glowing slightly in the dim light.
"Did you want to sit down? There's a space if I get in the tub..."

Of for Gaia's sake! Why couldn't he just let her go get the food? Ah well... wasn't his fault that he had just been dropped into another guild and was clueless as to the various histories. She couldn't leave him to go about this blind and clueless... especially not where Shin was concerned.
"Ahh... sure..."
She moved over to the tub blinked at Sun and then with a grin, pushed him backwards with a sploosh and a slight wave of water.
Okay... she felt a little better now!
