Zanza cocked an eye at the statement about chakra control. "My clan in baced on chakra control" he thought to himself as he sat on the grass. He sat his head up but, looked to her feet. " I'm up for anything too.... " he said, then looked up to her face " as long as i'm with you. " he said, finishing his sentence with a slghtly brighter sound.

Ame smiled. She walked herself over to him and held out her hand to help him up. "So you wanna... take a walk..? You can lead the way... that is... if you want to...?" She waited for his response, she hoped he would say something... after all... this is what he originally wanted...

Zanza countuied to look up at her. as she held out her hand, he gently placed his inside of it. He didn't pull down on her, but stoud up on his own while clinging to the hand. And he didn't let it go after standing. " Its ok. you lead. " he said holding on to her hand and looking at her.

She smiled, as she closed her fingers around his hand. It was strange... she'd never done this before... was she giving him the wrong idea? False hopes? She had no clue... Absolutely no clue at all... Ignoring her confusing thoughts she started walking around. She had no clue where to go... she just walked...

Zanza simply followed. Not knowing where they were headed and not careing why. He knew that this wouldn't last for ever. This peacefullness that was with them. The thing that seperated everything that was happening right now and the two of them, walking together. It was magical, but it wouldn't last forever like he'd wished. Before long he would be back in the fight, back to training, and back to the real world. But for now, this was all he wanted. " your hand........................Its really soft " he said, tring to complement her without sounding corny.

Ame wound up a small path, staying slightly ahead of Zanza the entire way. There was a place on this mountian she found not too long ago... and it was pretty nice... She stopped suddenly, as Zanza had broken her concentraition. "Wha-? My hands...? I ah... thanks... I've... never noticed..." She wasn't quite sure what to say back, he tended to surprise her frequently lately... Turning back to the path a head, she walked on.

Zanza finaly got tired of walking and asked " Are you tired?.............of walking I mean? " He took his hand back and cratched the back of his head. " you wanna stop here? " he asked seince they were right next to a small stream. The air was cool, but not cold. Zanza took a seat on the grass and huged his legs like he'd done before.

Ame looked down at her feet slightly and then gazed at the place they were close to... but if Zanza wanted to stop... she knew she shouldn't push him. "Uh yeah... I guess I am... She got closer to the stream and sat down by it, dipping her hand into the water as it flowed by...

Zanza looked down the stream and sighed. " I'm sorry " he said looking on down the stream where the water took a turn and you couldn't see it. He got up and went to whee Ame sat, and he sat next to her. " For not acting like myself. I've just had alot on my mind is all " he wanted to talk more, and at the same time say nothing at all. " your the first girl I've really liked Ame-kun " he said, not includeing the ones he'd only flirted with because of their good looks.

Ame turned to glance at him. "It's ok... I'm not always myself... and I'm not just talking about turning into 'monster girl'..." She'd given herself that nickname the day she completely lost herself to blood the first time... that she could remember anyways... there was still that incident at the academy that she couldn't remember... "I really dont see why you should like me... I'm nothing special... Never have been and I'll never be... "

Zanza looked at her had as it rested in the water. " your really beautiful. " he said in a way of his own. He made it sound as though even if he was the only person in the world who thought it, he would stand his ground and be right. " And it took me a while to realise that I liked your personailty, but you really grew on me, and quick. " he said before finaly setting his hand next to hers in the water. " and I don't care what you might do when you see blood. This is the ame I like. And i'll take the good with the bad."
