Hi, my name is Joy and I'm 14 this year. I enjoy drawing animals and learn more about them espeacially sea creatures like whales and sharks (duh...). I have no pets currently because my dog, Spot just died eek of old age neutral . I'm working on a book with forest animals in it. There may be a few fantasy creatures in it as well. Anyway, I hope to discuss about current issues that happen in the animal kingdom.
P.S: I also hope that THAT didn't sound cheesy... whee

hi i am rae i have three cats and a rat. i am a big supporter of animal rights and agaist any animals for fashion like skin, fur,ect.i need all the help i can with my new rat give me pm with advice

Hello. My name is Dorothy, and I'm currently 13 years young and live in a small suburban town of Massachusetts. Animals have been my greatest passion throughout my life. I support animal rights and am against animal cruelty, testing, fashion use, etc. One of my dreams, even though it may seem farfetched, is for animals to one day have equality to humans; that an animal life would be valued as much as a human's, that we stop taking advantage of them, and stop using their names as insulting analogies. When I grow up, I'd like to be a biologist or zoologist [ I haven't decided which animals I want to specialize in ], preferably working on a wildlife reserve either in or out of the country. Also, right now I have a mixed breed doggy; Annie, and a cat; Mittens. Luff em so much! heart Well, there isn't much else to say I guess. 3nodding
EDIT: Oh yes, just to let ya know, I used to support PETA but I don't anymore. Basically I think their methods are very extreme and that they stretch the truth way too much.

hi there! I joined a while ago but haven't posted here yet, but I'm glad to be here! I just turned 16 this march, I live in San Fransisco, um... oh I have 2 dogs and a gecko. mrgreen I really like lizards and other animals but not spiders. I really want to have a lot of pets when I grow up, like my gecko and an inguana and a corgi and a cat and a paraket and a paret and a really big pond that has a glass wall on one side that will be a huge window that you would be able to look through from the den and see all the fish. Oh and I'd get lots of money from books I write, and I would buy lots of rainforest land and make them national parks and make sure they weren't logged. That would be so cool. My biggest, unreal, never will happen dream is to get an island in costa rica and grow velociraptors there, and they'd be enginerred to not be too mean and blood thristy and I'd also make it so I could talk to them and stuff. I'd also bioenginer dragons with frog, komodo, bat and other DNA. I'd be able to talk to them too. And we'd be equalls. I'd also like to turn into a dragon, or a wolf. I hate the idea of supporting animal abuse. I'm way against using animals for fur and testing stuff. and just incase you don't know the winter fox mink thing is fake, so i'm not a hypocrite for wearing it. I have no problem with fake fur. that's all for now.

Hello, people call me Elle. I'm 15 and have only a few more months to go until I'm no longer a freshman. I intend to look into becoming a Veterinary Technition, running an animal rescue (most preferable), or working as an animal trainer for horses or dogs. I have difficulty volunteering at animal shelters and rescues because of my age, and thus spend much of my time researching animal related things.
I have a nice variety of pets myself and am looking into a greyhound and rabbit joining my family later this year. I have two baby red-eared slider turtles, a mix bred dog, two cats, an anole lizard, a bearded dragon baby, and goldfish. I had horses when I was little and intend to have them once I'm older and the opportunity to maintain them presents itself.
Recently I've began to become quite interested in animal wellfare and certain breeds and species. Some things I'm interested in are: Spaying and Neutering your pets, Animal Racing, Shelter animals, and Breed Biase. While I tend to read every topic posted in this forum and its subforums I am likely to post very little. I do enjoy what you've all got to say. ^^
Anyway, I feel it would be a bit pointless to say I love animals, because I figure you'd sort of have to to want to join this guild. So, to finish off my rambling I can only say I look foreward to reading what you all put up. ^^

Hello my nam eis Katie and I live in Pennsilvannia. I have a three year old grey cat that my family adopted, for he was a stray. I have a thriteen year old collie named Rex oh and the cat's name is Shadow.There is another stray cat that is a female and her name is Kitten for we knew her since she was in the later stages of kittenhood, and she is totally wild. She likes Shadow... she actually had four kittens! I am so happy there are to grey kittens, a white one and a yellow kitten! They all have the cutest faces... sorry I like bragging about my little babies! Although they won't come near me... any way my favourite animals are probaly horses or lions...

Hi my name is Natalie. i have 2 pets: my yellow labrador, Miki (I heart her with all my heart), and my cat, P.T. (she is SUCH a cat). I love all animals, but i have a strange resistance to monkeys.... i love to draw them, and read about them, and i'd love to be a wildlife rehabilitator when i get older. i couldn't possibly pick my favorite animal but canines and mustelids hold a special place in my heart.

Hi, my name is athena, im 17. I have loved animals my whole life more than anything, i used to volunteer at a reptile refuge, but unfortunally had to stop cause of school. I have 4 cats, max, fluffy, cuddles and oscar, and 2 dogs, teddy and bailey (who i got a couple of months ago). I cant really pick a favorite animal, cause i love any and all of them, but I've always had a special love for cats and reptiles

Hi mt name is Tia and im 15. When i got my first dog i was at least 6, her name was star, but when she died i knew right then that i needed to help other animals.Where i live there arent many animals so i mostly watch the animal planet channel....thats about it so see you in the guild! blaugh Oh yeah i live in Virginia.

Heya I'm Cat, I totally love animals. Mi Fav's are Horses and Cats but i like practically any animal. I hav been horse riding for bout 3 years. I have a rabbit called truffles( would put up a pic but i don't no how) i'm 13 yrs old and mi fav colour is pink.

Hey! My name is Berenika and I turned 15 just a bit over a week ago.
I own one cat, Enkidu ( cool ), and I'd definately love to have more pets, but I'm afraid my cat would, hehe, eat them >_>
Well, I like drawing and reading, making my mom not even THINK about buying a leather jacket, and I hope to volunteer at the only animal rescue center in this country in the near future =3
What I'll be doing when I finish school is a huge mystery, so please don't ask =D

Hi. ^^; My name is Glory. I'm 18, and I have nine indoor cats, an adopted feral cat, and a dog.
I've been an animal worshiper since I was born. My very first cat was alive before I was even born, so I grew up with her for ten years. I was her nurse during her last days on earth, and was with her when she died. I loved her dearly, and I still miss her.
My cats are chubby, pampered monarchs in furry coats. All are spayed or neutered, and we haven't had a flea problem in years, thank goodness. I love them to death, and they're all precious to me. One of my cats knows how to open the door, even when it was locked... how he managed that, I'll never know.
My dog is also spoiled rotten. All he has to do is sleep, eat, and take me for a walk every night. rolleyes
I'm a vegetarian, borderline vegan. The only animal product I really eat is cheese. :3 I've been vegetarian for about a year or so now, totally, though I've been on-and-off since I was young.
I'm very, very touchy when it comes to Animal Rights. I detest it when people make statements such as:
"They don't need rights."
"They can't think."
"Animals don't have feelings."
And such. As someone who has lived with animals hir entire life, I know those are not true. I believe humans can be very egotistical, self-centered and arrogant towards themselves and their own species.
I am a zoophile, and I'm a little open about it online, though I usually keep it quiet unless someone asks. I find that people misunderstand what it is and what it means, though it breaks my heart when people call me an animal abuser. (Tell that to the dog who's used to eating home-cooked meals! Abuse, my bum.)
My favorite animals are cats of all sizes, dogs of all sorts, hawks, whale sharks, pigs, any sort of cow (sweet little fellas!), and those funny little Aye-Aye critters from the jungles. I also love manta rays.
