its funny i think theres a post way ealier in this thread where my ex and i are calling eachother soulmates. She cheated on me 5 or so times and the break up was pretty nasty, i dont know about soul mates. You click in certain ways with some people and different ways with others, i do love my girlfriend and i could call her my soulmate, i just havent yet.

I have found mine. He was raised as a Mormon in Australia. He comes on here sometimes. He now has varied beliefs. I think you'd call him agnostic. I love him more than anything...

I like the whole story about the god (was it Zeus?) who split souls for punishment.
I heard it from a friend so I can't remember the details, but it goes like this:
Humans.
Humans were whole, their souls were either man+man, man+woman, woman+woman.
Humans make a God ANGRY!!!
God splits the souls apart.
Souls find their 'soulmates' and fall in love.
Soulmates are whole again.
AWWWW!
I think I have a soulmate out there, somewhere...

i do beleave in them, but i never will find mind because i do not "feel" like mine is in this world, or demachion. i might (and i know i will) find someone but i cant call her my soul mate, just a love i feel for someone and things i need before i get her, but its not something i know will last. trust me when i say that. i do know how my my out come of my life will be.

I'm afraid I'm a pessimist when it comes to finding my soulmate. I love a lot of people, but I'm pretty certain that when it comes to that type of love, I won't find it. When asked, I generally jokingly say that whoever it was supposed to be was aborted. In all seriousness though, I think that some people just do not have a soulmate in that all encompassing way.

I have a lifemate that I love very much, and I believe being separated from him would be completely devastating to me. However, I do not feel we are soulmate.
I haven't met my soulmate, and I honestly don't know what I would do if ever met him...

I really never knew the term soul mates until I found out that I really was. I knew that there was someone out there for me just never knew what I would meet him. Two years ago, I was about 19-20 yrs old, a guy came to me on the internet and him and I started talking. I really liked him but when he started to becoming a pervert I didn't like it anymore. I lost contact with him and I started finding that special someone that I was suppose to end up with in the end. I went through my share of assholes until that day came that he found me once again. We met and it was like magic. I never felt like this before until he came into my life. My life is complete and I know that he is the one I'm suppose to be with for the rest of my life. I love and care for him dearly. He is the one and only, my soul mate.

I full heartedly believe in them, but I'm not sure I've found mine just yet.

I believe in them, in fact.... I've found mine. heart The only problem is that she lives in California.... and I live in Illinois. Fate just works out that way sometimes... unfortunately
