Rivera suddenly looke up at Kira. She had good hearing too, but she didn't think that she was being loud. Her hissing isn't nearly as loud as her whispering. And whispering isn't loud at all... she was quite surprised at what he had done. Rivera shot Kai a very annoyed glance, and Kai gave her back a very apologetic one.

"Oh cripes..." Rivera muttered, shaking her head with slight anxiety. She turned around to Kira, "Um... I don't get it..." Her best chance was trying to act like she didn't understand what he was talking about. She tried to smile, then realized smiling was rare for her, and she'd just blow it even more. Finally, she compromised between a look of impassiveness and a look of mild innocence.

Keilantra had been dancing so much before she was extremly thirsty.She walked over to the table of snacks and got a can of soda.Popping it open she heard it fizz.She took a sip of it and looked around the the amazing decoration in the room.She walked over to the android and asked if she could play some more music.Turning on a fast beat, she had not planned to dance to it but she lloved listening to music.Keilantra jogged over to the DDR machine and thought about going on it.She turned around and looked to see if there was anybody she could play with.She yelled out just loud enough that peeople would hear her but not so loud that it was a scream."Hey anyone wanna play DDR?"

Fear flashed through her eyes and Rivera's legs weren't quite reacting fast enough from being tense. She couldn't turn in time for the box, so she turned her hand around and caught it without looking. Cracking her spine, she made use of her legs again and turned as she opened the box. Looking up gratefully, she bowed to Ai. "Thank you, Ai-sama... It's beautiful..." Rivera took the chain and fixed it around her neck again. It was very comfortable... now she had two chains and one choker. Those were probably her only pieces of casual jewelery.

She turned back as Kira spoke, her eyes still flickering with traces of fear towards him, but dying down. "Please... I can't let anyone know yet... Not until after the party. There are still those hunting me. I have to finish the Crimson Decadia before they get to me..." She looked at Kai.

"I don't believe you've met Kai... Kai'sekillre" Kai bows as Rivera introduces him, "he's an Atlantean as well... but he is stronger, he can speak..."

"Kurai-san... you made it!" Rivera turned her head and waved. "You're just in time to have some cake... would you like vanilla or chocolate? Help yourself to ice cream, people!" Rivera held back another cough, shaking slightly. Kai was about to check her throat again when she shook her head.

"I'm okay... you got me into enough trouble already." She sighed. "You were always like that..." She smiled lightly at him, and Kai grinned back. He took the knife and plates from her and cut the cake for her, remmoving the candles along the way. He picked up the half a candle, frowned at it, then shrugged an smirked. Usagihana had a strange humor, even for a robot.

"Yo!" Kurai spoke up as he waved twoards Rivera. "yo!" tainted Kurai spoke as he gave off a salute. "Cake! w00t!" And immediatly Tainted Kurai made his way twoards the Cake. "lets try both!" He yelled out at the top of his lungs and then scooped up himself some chake without waiting for Kai to cut it. He then just proceeded to toss one slice into his mouth.

"Sweet!" Tainted Kurai continued his loud yelling. Kurai yanked on Tainted Kurai's ear and just twitched his eyebrow.

"oi oi.. wheres your manners?" Kurai groaned about. "What would Mint say if she saw her father like you?"

"Ehhh she's used to it.." Tainted Kurai said with a smile.

"Were you even invited here?" Kurai asked Tainted. "Nah..." Tainted reply and then looked over at Rivera. "maybe?"

((A note tainted Kurai and Kurai being in the same room is impossible. I just made today an exception XP))

After Ai announced that she was 'Oliver', Makie smiled. 'Oliver' did sound a bit off, but when you hear the voice of your crush come from no where, I doubt you'd suspect something... Either that or Makie was just so happy he came that she didn't really pay attention. The brunette didn't waste one second and immidiatly turned around to hug Ai. Even though Makie saw her a lot, she felt each time she saw Ai, it was her first. That or she was so happy Ai came. If not Misty, or Oliver, at least Ai came. Makie's bestest friend and sister, in the brunette's mind, came to her surprise birthday.

"I-T'm so glad y-you came, Ai!" Exclaimed Ai. "M-Misty can't make i-it because she's s-sick, but... I-I'm so glad you made it! G-Guess what..? I-I'm 13 n-now! I-I'm a teenager! I-Isn't that a-awesome..!?" She smiled looking at her friend. That was when she realized she still had Rayna's present in her hands. She should open it. It's not nice not to open a present when some one gives it to you. That was when she heard the door open. The brunette glanced back and then jumped when she heard her name being called at the top of her lungs. What surprised her even more was, it was Kuri! He seemed a bit different, but who cares?

"K-Kuri..! T-Two Kuris..!?" The small girl was shocked. How can there be two Kurais!? The one with the chains was the one she knew, because he wore those chains when she met him... So, who's the other Kurai..? Which one is the real one..? When Tainted Kuri handed her a gift, she looked down at it, then smiled. She quickly put the gifts on the nearby table and then took a moment to hug Tainted Kuri. Of course, it was only for a moment, and she was blushing madly, but hey. It was because she was happy he could come. Especially when she never heard from him since that Pirate ship event!

"T-Thank you f-for c-coming, Kuri! I-I'm so happy I could s-see you a-again!" She said smiling, before tilting her head. "A-And... W-Who's the o-other Kuri..?" She was still confused about the two Kuris, but then again... A lot of things confused Makie.

"Got it...And by the way...I brought something for you, me and Kuro decided we would buy for one girl each..."Kira said and snapped once as a dark vortex opened up and a small train, similar to the train of gifts Kuro had brought, floated out."I raided the Hot Topic stock...Got a lot of good stuff for girls and a few unisexual items..."He said stacking the boxes neatly in front of her.

By the time Rivera had turned back to Kira, she almost walked directly into a stack of black boxes and bags. What really ended up happening was her falling backwards and finding herself sitting on the ground. "Holy mother Gaelia... I swear I am dreaming this..." Her eyes were wide with shock. "This is probably the best birthday I've ever had... since no one's given me a single weapon this year..." She stood up slowly and touched the bags. "Wow... they're real... I'm not dreaming..." Rivera blinked a few times, then looked up at Kira. "Thank you so much! She bowed to him. This means a lot to me!"

She stood there, frozen for a moment, then suddenly remembered. "Oh, I made something for Makie-san!" She drew a little black box out of her pocket and handed it to Makie. "Here Makie... happy birthday... I hope you like it... " She had spent a week forging it from the purest form of glass eh could find. It was a blue satin choker with a tiny glass drop. Within the drop was a spark of live lightning that changed colors in a spectrum, according to tomorrow's temperature, with red being hot and blue being cold. The live lightning woulc onstantly change shape, forming frolicing animals and strange inscriptions that told Makie about the future. It would grow warm whenever there was danger around. It was also an excellent source of power when she was tired and needed to keep going.
