With a quiet smile, FM moved up towards the egg hunt, tilting her head slightly. Clutching her hand was her small adopted daughter Fala, who had a perpetual scowl upon her face. Frowning slightly, the little wolf girl looked up at her mother and stuck her bottom lip out.
"Why're we here? Dis is stoopid." The girl looked away before FM could reply and the mother rolled her eyes slightly at the child's immediate peevishness. However, she quickly cheered up and used her index finger to turn Fala's head back to face her own.
"Guess what, Fala? If you find eggs, you can win prizes!"
THAT perked the girl up!
"Prizes? Like what?"
FM smiled, running a slender hand through her emerald hair. "Prizes, like money or pets. Would you like to play? You don't have to if you don't want to, but I think you'd have a good time."
"I want pets." The girl stuck her lip out again and immediately began seeking out eggs. Rushing over to a small flowerbed, she pulled the delicate stems back rather roughly, ripping a few out accidentally as she went. Were there any eggs there? Only time would tell...

He couldn't help but laugh as he watched Lethe take charge. She would definately be good to have around should anything go wrong... Like an invasion of pirating rabbits. Of course, so far their search for burried treasure was fruitless. "Maybe we're not looking in the right places... If I were a pirate-bunny... Where would I hide an egg?"
He stood for a moment, bringing a hand to the side of his face in deep thought. A lightbulb then went off and he took off towards a near-by tree, searching inside the knot-hole. "There has to be one in here somewhere..."

Angelus grimaced. "Mom does that with me as well. I can't stand staying in one position for so long. We can trade prizes? Cool!" he said aloud. "Where to now?" He asked his hunting group.
Dameon still kept his nose to the ground sniffing out eggs in the grass.

Kita smiled as she saw a red-haired little girl approach the water, followed by a woman holding a bag that she assumed was her mother or a guardian of some sort. She waved friendlily to them, hoping that the duck's mother wouldn't find its baby being patted by a stranger.

The duck peeped at Rebecca in confusion, and it hustled away to the saftey of it's mother's legs. The mama duck quacked loudly at the child and fluffed itself up impressively, stretching it's neck and wings.
Rebecca laughed and laughed at the sight and pointed at the pair. "NO MAMMA! EGGU!" she declared, as if to remind the mallards what her goal was. She toddled towards a cluster of cattails growing at the edge of the water. She pushed them apart to peer down among them.
"EGGU!" she cried out, demanding the colored objects show themselves.

Sigh. Even her own siblings failed her and they were supposed to be part-wolf and everything. ...Then again, maybe if they found one, and could let them catch the scent of it, they'd be more lucky?
(Providing they ever found one, of course...)
She left for a minute to retrieve her siblings, scooping them up and struggling to keep ahold of them as she walked back to the flowery area they were currently searching. She placed Raziel down in the flowerbed, who immediately began playing with the flowers, and Eden down a little ways by the tree.
"Maybe we're looking in too-obvious places?" Lethe suggested, getting to her feet at last and taking a few steps away before tilting her head back and peering into the branches. It would be just like a pirate-bunny to hide an egg in a very annoying and hard to get to place, right? At least, she knew she would.
Eden scrambled among the roots, continuing her search for dress-wearing eggs.

"Looks like quite a nice party." Ranjit mumbled and smiled at his small family consisting of their oldest son Jacosa, Otieno who was walking at his right hand and Nila, who was on her mother's arms. Jacosa's eyes were glittering of joy as he saw the other children. " HELLO" He called out and moved towards the small group. The parents followed with the smaller ones.

Solaris blinks. "Whereever your, er... banthi? goes, I guess. Look!" he exclaims as he points to the dog-thing.
"He's got an amazing nose!" remarks Kiana, quite jealous. She hasn't found an egg yet! She does a quick scan of the area around her. Maybe Dameon sniffed out more than one?

Bex made a comically angry face as no egg presented itself among the plants at the edge of the pond. She STOMPED off with an Oscar-worthy pout, and grunted at the now curious ducks as she passed them.
Sajhiri relaxed a bit as her daughter moved away from the water, and watched in amusement as she tromped towards a weeping willow tree, the long strands of branches cascading along the ground.
Rebecca pushed through the curtain of folliage and peered into the dimness under the canopy of the tree.
"EGGU?" she called out.

"I will not." He stuck his tongue out at Cian. "Clothes aren't all that hard to watch. Skye's given me a few hints for getting things out of children's clothing... Including 'don't buy white clothes'." He then caught himself looking at Zoe's white bunny outfit. "Whoops."
He then carefully peered around, looking past the rocks to a patch of pretty flowers. Even if there wasn't an egg in there... He could at least snatch a flower to tuck behind his own ear, or maybe even Cian's.

Lethe - you're right! Those pirate bunnies do like hiding eggs in strange places... like up in trees.

Fala let out a soft wolfish growl that showed her heritage. "Mommy, there's no eggy." She looked up towards FM, who shrugged her shoulders unknowingly. The girl looked again in the flowerbed but of course there was still no egg there.
"Try looking somewhere else, sweetheart," FM called out, a twinkle in her eye. Fala nodded slightly, toddling over towards a very tall tree. Peering up and around, she threw a small rock at the branches to see if anything moved, like... perhaps.. an egg!

"Yea, white cloths." He wiggled one of Zoe's feet, to her amusement, and laughed. "That's why i am not going to let her wiggle around on the grass and mess it up."
Picking up a rock he rolled it over and looked around. Who knew, maybe there was a egg under there, science and weight differences be damned.

Rebecca grumped some more, as the eggs seemed to be running away from her now. Or that darn bunny was getting better at hiding them than before. She poked here and there around the trunk of the willow, but no egg presented itself.
The little girl moved back out of the skirt of branches, and she shook her head at her mother despondently. "MO?" she asked, as if to confirm that there were, indeed, more eggs to be found.
Sajhiri smiled. "Yes Bex, there are more, you might need to look a bit harder though."
Rebecca sucked in a huge breath, shrugged her shoulders, and began to wander off towards the bridge. She crouched and began overturning rocks beneath it, looking for any glimpse of color.
