Super Cryolite, Corrupt Senshi of Baby It's Cold Outside Location:Inside/Floor Crew Action: Suddenly Rethinking his Life Choices after a little Shock Therapy: Dropping the Page - Dropping Everything -- Deeply Considering life as a part time Ice Rink.
He sucked a breath for the way the an errant thrashing knee caught him up under the ribs; the pain from the Pages fitful, futile struggling tugging a too human snarl from between his clenched teeth. A frustrated noise as his fist dripped red as the pages face, as the deep intones of color layered beneath a badly ascot. Magic would get it out, he told himself, as he pulled back for another blow---
Feeling childlike resentment for being scuffed up, singed; for how he knew he was going to have bruises all down his shins, scattered across his thighs in ugly, unflattering ways. Not that it mattered when he didn't have anyone to show them off to. Did it? Who was he trying to stay pretty for anyways? To stay out of trouble for? Nikki, yes -- who he dearly loved -- but the rest? Her preachers choir of family-strangers chanting betterment, singing of hard times and holy hallelujah's while beckoning him into the light!
But she wasn't here to stop him.
He was surrounded by bad actors on all sides. His best friends in the world were just beyond the door feverishly tearing at the walls to get one of their own back death and dyining be damned because they were ******** hivemind at this point.
His *love* was nowhere and his other *love* had given up!! So he moved to lay into the page again; and suddenly he did *see* the light! Or at least he saw it in passing, like nearly missing dying to a misstep onto charged train tracks; glittering pastels littered with icy beauty upside his ******** head.
The Page got dumped into his waiting party as the ground came up to meet Cryolite in an unforgiving sprawl. There was blood on his knuckles and running down his nose and his skull ached and--
'What the ******** am I doing--'
There was no grace period to process it all, the injuries yet to be catalogue quickly overlayed by new ones. A new light. Full of angry burning and shocking tendrils that ran hot enough to sear; an electrified radius that snarled his senses and left him screaming for it silently.
MAGIC:
Not using it ATM
Sailor Scout Attack: "Sublime Shroud!" Cryolite says the word, and his body temperature magically drops to below freezing. He is not affected by this, but anyone who comes in contact with him will feel as though they are touching dry ice and will feel as if they are suffering mild frostbite for as long as they are touching him, and for up to twenty seconds after they break contact. While he is channeling his magic, it will appear as if he is sublimating into a chilly, foggy vapor. The illusion of the cascading fog that bleeds off of Cryolite serves as a visual warning sign to any who can see it: it screams 'Super cold - Do not touch'.
No physical or lasting damage is done in this magic, only the very uncomfortable mental sensation of such. However, players can choose to sustain any lasting damage in the form of chills or up to mild frostbite.
Range: Touch/Grapple Duration: 30 Seconds Number of uses: 3 2 1 Number of targets: Whomever touches Cryolite
"Oh, but--" Mira's face contorted with a brief if dour pout aimed at the beskirted basics backside. She thought if the barely contained simmer of a boy was going to rush off into battle sounding like a tea-kettle, he could've at least made his cantankerous walk-off look *good* instead of mildly constipated and in a rush to find the loo.
Boys at this age, always gotta strike out on their own in a rush, don't they?
"Should we add him to the pool?" Conspiratorial half-remark, partial smarm, and she only meant it as tease. She didn't want Ilmari on the roster and harmed anymore than she wanted to make bets on Helio's well-being -- though knowing how playing with fire went? She would've put money on the boy sustaining some scarring -- somewhere -- but that was a private thought, as she turned from Carnotite briefly to eye the affixed wall of a man casting nothing, but pissed feeling shadows behind her; emotions roiling off the Eternal like a heatwave off the blacktop.
"Let him..." His eyes tracked Ilmari, a flicker over pastel lilacs and then back up the structure, his feet staying bolted in place. There would be a conversation later, but so long as Ilmari wasn't directly disobeying anything? As long as the basic played outside with the bad guys where everyone could see and anyone could help and if s**t got thicker around the outskirts of the building then people *would* help---
So long as his best boy stayed the ******** out of the building that Albite was waiting to come down.
Any second now.
Any moment -- any --
It felt like it had been a thousand years since he'd heard so much as a whisper from anyone; the important people he needed to hear from <********> because the screams were not getting any better from the inside and the sounds of the people trying to carve through the front of the house were not getting any less feral demolition equipment sprung to life.
He didn't want to ******** this up -- anything but this -- this all too important thing going on two stories up and in a place he couldn't see anything happening from. Unless they'd buried Helio in a basement deep underground -- unless Helio wasn't ******** there at all. What if Muri had been tricked? What if the white moon had their own way of dealing with 'traitors'?! It wasn't like there'd been any sign, or hair of the dancers aura since this all started. No flash of familiar Eternal energy singing along his senses.
That could've meant ******** anything though, so he wouldn't let himself read into it, wouldn't acknowledge the fear that had him grinding his teeth as he oh so tentatively reached for the coms ---
And then he stopped himself.
He needed a ******** update. He'd take it in morse, or static, or jabberwocky gibberish ---
He also needed to wait, could tell himself that it hadn't been nearly as long as it felt like it had. How he *knew* Faustite couldn't reply save through headache and that those who could've would've if things had gone so far south that they needed to. <******** class="spoiler-wrapper spoiler-hidden">
Captain Carnotite Location: Outside Action: Chilling with Mirabilite
"Game sounds perfect to me," she hummed, the corners of her eyes crinkling in mirth as she looked to the... rather hectic house. "I'll put in for burning, someone's got to get caught in that." Considering the one leading all this, she'd be disappointed if the house didn't just end up as a pile of ash after all this. Hopefully, complete with a body or two...
Her nose wrinkled though at the hold up at the front door, and then... some of the energies just vanished. Carnotite scowled then, turning to face the house directly. "The hell was that?" There'd been magic used, certainly, and she'd seen the lights from inside clearly announcing flames and what looked like electricity. But that didn't explain the sudden poof. She hadn't heard anything that sounded like a bunch of the White Moon fools had just up and keeled over, and she clicked her tongue in annoyance as she looked about at their fellows hesitating along the edges outside. "They might be having a bit too much fun without us... Maybe we should pick a few of the flies off that've come to watch?" Part of her didn't even want to bother--there were so many agents here at this point...
Though it would be fun to use a bit more of her electricity on someone.
That one of the Negaverse's senshi zoomed off after... hm, a Knight and a little senshi, she hummed to Mirabilite's jest. "If he didn't have company, I'd say absolutely." As it was, she could see another agent with two swords in that particular fray, and felt that the senshi's probability of survival heighten considerably. "But if anyone else runs into that house, I'm voting for them onto the list."

General Prehnite; The other Plant General Location:Outside with Infighting Crew Action: Dangerously Offended by Alphubel (Brilliant magic! Here? Have this Knife as a reward!)
There was something incensing about *this* kind of magic. Knights and their everlofty machinations, their incredible abilities all couched in sparkly looking tools that seemed made for beauty rather than harm; like the innards of a gothic cathedral all spewed out onto a stick. All windchimes and shepherds crooks donned up like suncatchers.
It was dazzling. It made his stomach crawl. The filmy veneer and bad aftertaste that sat over his senses as the lingering magic left him feeling adrenaline high; ten redbulls in and jittering like a washing machine untethered. Because he'd looked to Miyamoto and Sodalite, he'd raised his blades against them---
Watched them attack each other---
'That doesn't make any sense.'
"b*****d--" And then he was swinging on the Polaris Knight (Alphubel) from a distance; a solid green fireball spewing forth from the blade in his right hand. The bit of burning magic followed preceding the blade itself as the weapon was flung just behind the magic; one covering the other like he was playing darts with his weapon and the Knight was the board he intended to pin them in.
[WEAPON & MAGIC]
Weapon: Contact with Prehnite's blades produce severe effects of Dieffenbachia poisoning for 20 seconds - causes itching, burning, inflammation and nausea. However, these effects are only applied the first time an individual is struck in a single battle.
Forgotten Spell: "Taxane's Fire" - An eerie chartreuse green fireball leaps from Prehnties dagger in a radius of up to 20 feet; when it hits the target it feels like being hit with a baseball and contact is caustic enough that it can cause skin agitation or acidic burns. Lasting damage is up to the player, but the blast can also briefly poison a target; symptoms of poisoning can include a fast heart rate, muscle spasms and labored breathing for as long as the player likes. He can repeat this action 3 times.

Eternal Miyamoto. Long time no see. Always a pleasure.
Not bad for an ambush. That he got the Knight was actually a slight shock to him, disrupted by the fact he hadn't gotten a deeper slash at the senshi. Ah well. More where that came from. He drew up one sword to intercept the one the Knight was bringing down on him, not especially concerned about his metal versus the other man's... wood..?
The sudden fog however, trees, roots, underbrush, the whole nine yards plus some of a forest drenched in it, was annoying as s**t. Gritting his teeth, he swung his second sword towards where the Knight's (Dromberg) middle would have been, he believed, had he still been visible. If the Knight hadn't disengaged from the swing, at least, he might be lucky...
An energy signature specific to a Negaverse senshi leapt into his senses, or at least close enough for him to now be concerned about their presence. Not a bad thing, though he disliked being unsure where they were within or outside of... whatever mess this Knight's magic caused. He appreciated someone joining to even out the numbers, regardless.
The ground beneath his feet began to shift and roll, and more debris seemed to fall through the fog and trees at him, and Seraphinite made a face as he tried to push forward through the trees and fog, somewhat confused as to why the trees felt solid... More solid than the ground, anyway, and his progress was slowed all the further as he needed to be mindful of his footing.
Seraphinite's Weapon
Causes anyone struck by the swords to be injected with a poison that gives off a light burning sensation at the point of contact. The area around the wound forms "light cracks"--faintly glowing, lava-crack looking markings that last as long as the burning of the poison does. The cracks are a visual representation of the poison, though can extend further than the point of contact. The poison itself is restricted only to the point of contact, and lingers with the burning sensation for only 10 seconds. Should someone be struck repeatedly by the poison--after the initial effect has already worn away--then the burning sensation builds, akin to someone becoming allergic to a bee sting over repeated attacks.
When it seemed like things couldn't get anymore frantic, Hy was rushing down the stairs, followed by Celadon. He didn't see the alien senshi, or their hostage, and he grimly determined that he would need to try to get up there once Encke took the rest and there was an arm around his middle and then...

Eternal Corrupt Hestia Location: upstairs hostage exchange Action: Looking for the pen with a lil helper
An exchange was made, though perhaps next time they should plan out the negotiation to better support Mr. Fanir's skillful efforts. But what could they really do? For all that Headache may tsk tsk, Faustite's roaring passion in his actions was part of his great charm! And it was his team's duty to make sure those actions brought the desired results, no matter what.
"Of course, sir!"
The request was followed by a tidy twist of hair and skirts, accompanied by a small, flying figure emerging from her hair. While her cosmic companion wasn't particularly fast, it was another set of eyes to scour the area. In a matter of moments, everything else going on now thoroughly ignored, Hestia was about to pull up a second floorboard in the room when there was a series of squeaks one room over. A duffel bag was found!
"Excellent work!" Too any still lingering, Hestia shouted, "It's found! I'll be leaving!" Her voice wasn't too uncertain there, was it? She looked down into the bag and gave the broken pieces of Helio's pen a small grimace before teleporting outside.

Grieve of Grieve Location: upstairs hostage drama & GONE Action: & GONE
Even as she brought the feather to her eyes, other hand firmly supporting Murikabushi's weight, in the back of Grieve's mind she noted how quickly General King ******** Off passed the boy on, and with what care. Throughout this whole confrontation, the way he moved, that posture, that silhouette brought that now familiar feeling. Things of the past made anew. And in this case ******** up. It wasn't until she felt the pull of space that she found that source set of memories, rising up quietly in the midst of everything else going ********' Eion," she hissed.
Velvet. Wrong and ******** up on chaos and elemental powers. He's passively magical. The two senshi disappeared from the shitty little house and reappeared in her shithole throne room. He can't control it at will.

Knight Drombeg Location: Outside Action: Getting dazed by Ilmari
Drombeg's attack was a partial success. He managed to get the Captain, and for a moment, the Corrupt that had come to help the Captain. Just for a moment however as the Corrupt seemingly got through the illusion quite quickly and before he realized it his emotions had calmed down quite a bit and he was no longer pushing magic into the sword. If they didn't get away very quickly, the Captain would soon be freed and would be able to attack them with ease.
Luckily Aruna had started her own attack and while it didn't effect Drombeg, he could see that it would do something to the Agents that had cornered them. Still, he couldn't bring himself to do... anything really, other than give Aruna a thumbs-up, as much as his body could be pulled into doing something.

General-King Faustite Location: Upstairs > Outside Action: Shitting bricks, spicing the place up, giving Headache orders to give to Beni and CHal
How the ******** did she —
Faustite felt his blood drain into his feet once he heard his name come from that wretched creature's mouth. Not Faustite, but a name she should never have known. How the ******** would they have found that out? Was it from Aelius? Or was there some other way that they were divining the identities of high-ranking officers and senshi?
Faustite grit his teeth. He held fast to the antlers of that ******** stag while the flames in his core finally burst, wending out to envelop the small room in virulent flame. Soon, the stag had vanished, either raveled out from the defeat of its master or due to the burdensome fire that annihilated it. He would consider such repercussions later, once Aelius had a deposition and the Negaverse was prepared to launch its investigation into this complete shitshow of a situation.
With everyone else out, Faustite stepped foot on the sill and gave a last glance back. He hoped the place had enough brick to bury them.
He teleported then, reappearing next to Headache at their distant starting point. As he sat to watch the fire slowly spread throughout the building, he signed for Headache to give the all clear to the Generals on point.
Headache, which had disassembled into a pile of fireflies, reconstituted as its master and began transmitting the news.
"Benitoite, Chalcanthite, target recovered. Withdraw everyone from the building. If anyone gets out, kill them." Headache supposed it was time for its master to waste away watching some building crumble instead of something more useful, like wrenching the starseeds from the offenders or draining energy. But, knowing the volatile Sovereign, he likely planned to kill each of the senshi involved over and over and over again, until he tired of breaking the necks of the children rebirthed with the same starseed and finally took them for himself.
The building would burn for some time, and there Faustite would remain until the cold light of morning dawned on its ashes.
They could turn back, she knew, but the other room held a host of Negaverse agents and a dead Eternal Senshi and no promise of escape. They couldn't move forward with that knit of bodies crushed together, relentlessly going after each other. There was no third option, either.
Of all the things she thought could happen, she never expected this venture to lead to this. Some final stand in some old building with their hostage lost and nowhere left to go.
His magic had worked, enough to where two of them had now attacked each other. The General however, had quickly gotten over the confusion and had started to attack him. And Alphubel wasn't quick enough to dodge the flame and the weapon that followed it.
The flame singed his robe, enough to get past the layers and give an opening to his arm as the blade caught it, and pain went through him like a lightning bolt. He managed to not let out a yelp of pain and taking a quick look at his arm told him the dagger had missed any vital arteries that may have been in there, but he still wouldn't be able to grip his staff and fight at the same time.
Squire Voyager Location: Outside Action: Coming to back up Alphubel and get the both of them to safety, this looks like a lost cause, whatever this is.
Voyager hadn't seen Alphubel at first. They were hiding in different places after all, both assessing the situation. It wasn't until the Knight went straight up to a group of Agents that had been milling around that he noticed the Polaris Knight and he couldn't believe that he had just gone up to the group and started pouring his magic out!
The Knight seemed to know what he was doing however, as a couple of the Agents started to fight each other, but the General didn't seem too effected by whatever the magic did and had gone to attack the Knight!
There was something wrong with this whole situation and Voyager decided that even if he should have been helping Order Senshi and his fellow Knights, there was basically no backup in the area. If the others in the area stayed, they would be seriously hurt, or worse. And he knew the Negaverse was willing to do worse.
He was getting that Knight out of there! He ran up to the group. "Yeah, we're leaving!" He said to well, anyone in the area considering he yelled it. He got his compass out and started to pour magic into it as he ran over to the Knight, managing to make it before the other two and the General managed to attack him again.
He grabbed the Knight by the shoulder. "I'll help you get out of here." He said, looking at the Agents. Hopefully his magic should give them a bit of a barrier that they needed to get out of here, mostly safe.
Alphubel suddenly noticed another light around him and then there was a hand on his shoulder, and a Squire was telling him they were going to get out. As much as he wanted to stay, there were so few Order that had responded to the SoS. Even if all of them went and charged the Negaverse, he doubted they would do much to help. He had to agree with the Squire. They needed to leave.
He nodded, gripping his staff in his left hand. At least he wouldn't have to leave his weapon. With Voyager covering them, they both managed to make it out of the area, Alphubel whispering the pledge so that they would both make it to his Wonder on Polaris as the Squire continued to grip them.
What had this group done to deserve this?
Exit Voyager and Alphubel, sorry for the double quoting!
Quote:
Voyager's Magic When he opens the weapon and concentrates, the face of his weapon appears on the ground with a Pluto symbol in the middle that spans 8 feet with him in the middle. Any enemies within the area (a half-sphere if you will) suddenly feel as though they are suddenly stuck in wet sand and can only slowly move. Lasts for 35 seconds or until he closes weapon, can be moved out of the area to stop feeling the effect. They can also jump, but they will move slowly until they are out of it, but afterwards can move away. Someone else can also hit him causing him to drop it/close it/etc
This was bad. This was very very bad. The fact the corrupted senshi didn't seem overly affected by Dombeg's attack deeply concerned her and she knew she had to take advantage of the brief window they had.
Wrapping an arm around Drombeg, Aruna grabbed the Knight and hauled a**. The cover of the trees he had summoned plus her own attack that destabilized the ground and shot rocks at them gave them just enough opening and time to put distance between them and the two attacking them. She ignored the pain and the blood running down her arm, focusing on getting the two of them to safety.
Corrupt Sailor Ako Location: ********> Grabbing the cat girl and being a human shield
Ako knew she had just made the worst decision of her life. She didn't need her memories to tell her that this was a monumental ******** up. She had acted reflexively when she saw Des get shoved and zapped, instinctively wanting to protect one of the very few people she actually cared about.
And then the ******** happened. She saw the senshi turning back towards her and everyone else on the stairs and knew this was going to be bad. Once again acting on her instincts, she grabbed Des by the arm and turned her back towards Encke, pulling the cat girl against her chest to shield her. And then it hit.
Searing pain bloomed across her arm, shoulder, and back as she stumbled forward, trying to protect the mauvian as much as possible. She grit her teeth, her knees buckling a bit. <********> that hurt! She wasn't sure how much of it that she had protected Desiree from, but she hoped that she was able to cushion the blow.
Letting go and pushing Des lightly, she urged her to hurry down towards Chalcanthite, stumbling behind her. She heard shouting about needing to get out, but her ears were ringing too badly from the pain to figure out much more.
