Top Designer: Ultrabord — Esther • This was a beloved look of the judges, it was not only good but intelligent with a strong description. • There was no strong drawback. Some judges didn't like the companions, others loved them. Be careful with light flares or shadows that cross the face, cause those can be distracting.
mythological irony — Sumati • This look was beautiful, perfect for Sumati, and you were very intelligent with how you did things. Working around the top? Genius. • Your description was great, but a few more personal details might have bumped this up to a winning entry. Watch the background too, sometimes having multiple things layered can distract from the look itself.
ShiroOkazaki — Aubrie • This was an impressive entry. You made smart creative decisions, had a strong description, and it was a great take on Jasmine. • There was something missing that we couldn't quite put our finger on, but we think it boiled down to needing that little extra something. Another nod to the movie, or something unexpected.
Haji Demon — Maritza • Maritza is Moana. Moana is Maritza. The water spirit was such a wonderful touch, and you did a great job of working with your model. • Over all the judges felt this look bordered on a little busy, and it needed one more editing pass.
HELLPRIEST — Seren • Seren looks beautiful as Cinderella, and over all the composition and balance of the look is great. • We want more from the description, and the background was more distracting than it was beneficial.
ICLite — Lulu • This was a somewhat simple look, but man, did you nail it and polish it up wonderfully. None of the judges would have thought of Snow White for Lulu, but you absolutely sold us on it! • We would love to see you push yourself creatively, give us an unexpected thing. Most judges also would have removed the horse, adding in a smaller element or maybe some kind of sparkle.
clowniing — Rhiannon • This was a stunning entry with a great description, this is a look we won't be forgetting. Pretty sure some of us would hang this on our wall if possible. • It simply wasn't Ariel enough. It was a fantasy mermaid, and we needed more Ariel.
Neapolitangirl — Ava • Ava as Tiana was a good choice, they both have amazing spunk! The shape of the dress was also flattering. • Colors are off. Too dark, too drab, Tiana was always vibrant and we wished there was more of that.
smol bab — Amren • Judges are impressed by the thought you put into this look, and having an adorable frog in the background was smart. • None of us knew which princess Amren was supposed to be at first glance. Description should enhance a look, not explain and make it possible.
Dickjoke — Talia • This was immediately recognizable as Ariel, and it was fun! Simple and casual. • It bordered on too simple. We would have loved to see some more creativity and pushing yourself a little bit farther.
Detrimentum — Helena • Cinderella was a great choice for Helena, and she looks great. • We want more of your inspiration behind the look in your description. Also watch your skin tones. I'm sure you chose all the right color, but because of different coloring styles, they do not look like they match in a couple of places.
Eliminated: BloodAngel95 — Bryce • Merida was a great choice for Bryce, and you have really learned how to work with Bryce and embracing her. • We only knew it was Merida because of the challenge. The colors weren't right for Merida, and aside from the bow and setting, the creative choices just weren't right for the challenge.

Challenge #7 Be Gentle Feedback
Top Designer: HELLPRIEST — Seren • The theme that you went with pairs perfectly with the pastels. The judges appreciate you for not using a full background, which kept things just a little off-white without being overloaded with effects. • The judges would like for you to add more into your description. Let us know the "whys" to your "whats".
clowniing — Rhiannon • This is a really great week for you. This is another fantastic entry from you. Easter + pastel makes so much sense, and it reads well, through and through. Rhiannon looks adorable as the Easter bunny. • Beautiful as your entry is, going Easter for the challenge was a tad predictable. Some judges pointed out that Rhiannon's hand is blending in with the background with her white gloves, losing one of her hands.
Detrimentum — Helena • The reference to Iris, with the iridescent color scheme was a smart choice, seeing as Iris is associated with rainbow. It's nice to see someone take pastel and make it elegant, rather than cute. • The judges would've prefer to see Helena's pose looked more like she's floating to better sell the illusion of her flying in the sky.
Ultrabord — Esther • The mint green pastel looks great on Esther. Your concept could've easily come off as campy, but instead it was very cleverly executed. • The judges would've preferred you to ditch the background - and the filter if the filter was separate, and added more pink into the look, seeing as the pink flower pin looks somewhat out of place.
Haji Demon — Maritza • The judges expressed their love of your use of background, and with the color choices, everything blends really well. Dipping into other colors and hues with ease. • With how beautiful your background is, Maritza seems to be an afterthought, given how rather simple her garb is. Some judges also expressed that going floral for pastels was a tad predictable.
Dickjoke — Talia • The pastel colors that you chose fits Talia well. You have the clearest and recognizable motif out of everyone. Every item chosen makes sense with the motif. • Motif aside, style-wise, most of the items obscures a decent amount of the wardrobe. The judges wish the outfit wasn't blocked so much.
ShiroOkazaki — Aubrie • Aubrie looks adorable. The color scheme is interesting to see, and you embodied pastels well. • The judges don't vibe well with the background choice, and wished you would've opted to envelop Aubrie with more pastel instead.
ICLite — Lulu • This is a masterclass on how you break up monotony, whilst also keeping to theme. The take on rainbow is creative and fun to see. • The judges feel there's more that could've been added on Lulu's head and outfit. The background and styling choices leave the judges with mixed feelings. Some vibe with it, some don't.
smol bab — Amren • The colors look great on Amren. The color scheme is to theme, and the colors mesh beautifully together. • The judges don't resonate either with the styling choices, seeing as how cluttered the outfit is with the background. They also pointed out that your pastel entry look similar to your Disney princess entry.
BloodAngel95 — Bryce • The color choices are nice, and the outfit has a nice silhouette going on. • The judges have mixed feelings about the outfit's story. Some like it, some don't. But the lack of pastels in the background didn't vibe well with every judge.
Eliminated: Neapolitangirl — Ava • You interpreted the challenge well, and made a cute outfit. Sherbet is a good color scheme for Ava. • The judges pointed out that, while the outfit's cute, it doesn't belong on Ava. They appreciate you tried to avoid making your entry messy, but it still reads messy.
mythological irony — Sumati • It's a nice overall image. The design style reads "mythological irony", and we respect it. • Every single judge agreed that this is your worst entry yet. Most of your styling choices didn't resonate well with the judges (e.g.: the make-up, shadow and accessory choices, the lack of pastels in the background, and the background itself reading too heavy)
Challenge #8: I Command Each of Ye Status: Complete
Title: Making Bad Look Good Designer: ShiroOkazaki Model: Aubrie
Description:This challenge took me a while to wrap my head around. My sin is “stealing” and at first I just thought very literally, like shoplifting, but that seemed tame and unexciting. So then I thought about different kinds of thieves and got inspired by heist movies. I love a good heist movie, like Ocean’s Eleven, Heat, and The Usual Suspects. Daring criminals with style and panache felt like a group that Aubrie could fit into.
I really wanted a Mission Impossible style heist, with cool lasers and gadgets, but I had trouble finding the right kinds of items to make it work. I opted for a safe cracker scene with a dark, stealthy outfit. Black is the obvious choice for a burglar, but I tried to play with the details to make the look both interesting and functional. A fitted bodysuit for ease of movement, a bag for loot and tools, and a hood to cover Aubrie’s light hair.
I wanted the scene to be dark and shadowy, but I tried hard not to darken it so much that you couldn’t see the outfit. I also really wanted to add a mask, but I’d already covered Aubrie’s hair and I didn’t want to obscure anything else.

"Keeping it Holy" by clowniing
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
Exodus 20:8–10 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
The old chapel has been forgotten by most people, but some still travel here every Sunday to pray for protection and fortune. The angel Rhiannon welcomes them with a loving gaze and a promise to keep their dearest safe from harm...
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
A lot of things went wrong for me in this challenge... Firstly, I wasn't raised religious and had difficulties wrapping my head around this more abstract commandment. And secondly, I got very sick, preventing me from completing the challenge in time. As a result I unfortunately didn't have a lot of time to spend on this challenge, and I thank the judges for giving me an extra day to complete it.
I went through a lot of different scenarios and outfits that I didn't like, but then I took a step back and thought about the commandment again. The "keep it holy" part really stuck with me in particular, it reminded me of seraphim (angels that chant "holy holy holy" ). And so, I decided on making Rhiannon a loving angel that watches over those that respect the Sabbath Day.
The colors surrounding her are bronze, a darker gold, and brown. I wanted them to be reminiscent of old, opulent churches covered in gold, to signify Rhiannon's holy status as an angel. But I didn't want her to come across as intimidating or imposing, like a lot of those old churches and artworks do. Rhiannon is filled with love and her presence radiates light and warmth. So her clothes and accessories are only of white tones and brighter gold hues.
I gave her a flowy dress that reminded me of feathers, fitting with her gentle pair of wings. Personally I associate the word 'holy' with fire, specifically the sun, so I also tried to keep a 'sunbeam' motif in Rhiannon's look, specifically with her crown, the top of her wings, the rays behind her head, and of course her surroundings. An ethereal mist also follows her everywhere, and she is so light, that flowers do not bend beneath her weight.
Oh, man, I did NOT know where to begin with this prompt, haha. I spent a good deal of time just thinking about how I could portray false witness in avatar form. I started by searching for an armmod--I wasn't really sure what I was looking for, but I knew the position of the hands was going to be important to symbolize telling falsehoods. I went through a number of different options and as I was looking I actually came up with my base idea: spreading rumors.
Once I had that in mind, I had a better idea of what I was looking for and finally settled on the current arm mod, which makes her look a little spiteful but trying to play it off, like she's enjoying the whole rumor mill thing.
I narrowed my idea down further by turning it into a slumber party, where the highlight of the night is sharing gossip and spreading rumors, which is where the speech bubbles come into play. I included the top speech bubble to indicate Sumati's own lies that she's spreading and the lower speech bubble to indicate her desire to hear what the others have to say. I added the speech bubble in the background to be indicative of the gossip/rumors being shared.
I gave Sumati light colors to suggest that she's a girly girl (it also suggests that she hides behind an innocent persona) and I gave her some ab definition to suggest she might be a cheerleader. I wanted her to come across as a popular mean girl. The bright pink star earrings and pink hair bow were included to emphasize that girly-girl persona even more.
The shadow on her face was included to suggest her more sinister nature--knowing what she's doing is wrong but enjoying it anyway.
Designer: Ultrabord Model: Ava Challenge: I Command Each of Ye (Idolatry) Outfit Title: Hold the Phone
Description:
The first thing that comes to mind when I think about idolatry is modern people obsessing over their smart phones, social media and popularity. Too many people don't even realize their obsession borders on religion, and they're unintentionally worshiping the internet and fleeting attention from people who don't truly care about them. Prioritizing the things that aren't really important in the long run and ignoring everything else around you like friends, family, pets, sometimes even your own wellbeing is dangerous as it isolates you from reality and can be neglectful and harmful both to yourself and others around you.
I was going for a sexy, shallow pop-idol-inspired style that's fashionable, but intentionally not particularly original. After all, so many people who are trying to get attention try to fit the idea of what they think everyone will like; they become exactly like other popular icons who appeal to them. Ava struggles to appeal to her adoring fans- an ironic twist, as she wants others to worship and idolize her, not realizing that she herself is idolizing the internet and her own popularity. Her outfit is supposed to be bold and loud like her online posts. The faux fur and potted plant are as fake as her online life, her sexy lingerie is as flimsy as her online friendships and relationships, and her decorative accessories are cute but cheap, like the replies she makes to keep her fans obsessed with her. If the internet stopped working for a day, she thinks she would probably like, totally die, or lie in bed all day depressed. After all, her family and neighbors gave up trying to talk to her- she doesn't have time for real-life drama when she can just filter out the haters and trolls online. Even her cat is tired of being ignored and overlooked, and is clearly showing his annoyance, not that she's noticed anything is wrong.
(side note: For any judges who haven't seen yet since I didn't message everyone, I did choose to switch models; finally get to work with Ava, although I had a lot of fun designing for Esther as well! both are amazing characters/models. Still feeling spacey/tired after getting wisdom teeth out, finally edited the description to make it sound more concise/logical.)

♥︎ Designer: Detrimentum ♥︎ Model: Helena ♥︎ Challenge: #8 - I Command Each of Ye - Thou shalt not kill ♥︎ Outift Title: The Red Means I Love You ♥︎ Description:
'Cause my insides are red, and yours are too And the red on my face is matching you And goodness, you're bleeding, what a wonderful feeling You're down, and you're pleading, my head is just reeling
I've been assigned "Thou shalt not kill", which is one of the most straightforward sins. For my entry, I've decided to make Helena an obsessive lover who killed their beloved.
I thought about the perfect colours for my idea, so of course, red had to be included. Other than that I opted for mostly whites, blacks and greys, so the red can be more noticeable.
The outfit is meant to look innocent that's why she's wearing a cute, lacey white dress with ruffles. Her accessories also reflect that innocent look - adorable huge bow, pretty shoes and socks, and little poofy sleeves. The whole outfit is meant to contrast with the act she's committed. Similarly, her expression and even the way she's holding her face are meant to make her seem as if she's worried or confused over what happened. However, I also added a lot of blush (and the background photos) which signifies she was well-aware of her actions as well, even, perhaps, a little excited by them.
By itself the dress was quite boring, so she's wearing another dress under it to add another set of cute ruffles. Also, she's got on two corsets, a bolero and a top. Similarly, her hair accessories are a big bow, a hairclip and a headband.
desc - I certainly did not see this challenge coming, and struggled to try and brainstorm how exactly I could represent it. however! i am quite happy with going the more metiphorical route. focusing heavily on symbolism rather than a more exact way of how the sin may be preserved.
"Honour thy father and thy mother" and Lulu has done the exact opposite. The tree is often used as symbolism for a family, a long line of children and parents branching off from the base. For the sin of disrespecting her parents the tree has begun to rot, leaves falling and instead being replaced by the judging eyes of crows. her purposeful sin causing a ripple effect as it affects not just her parents, but her entire would be family.
now onto the actual outfit itself! the background consists of the wilting tree, leaves being blown away as if just detaching from it, and a dark halo of crosses. I knew I couldn't just leave Lulu with her usual expression as it took away from the look, so instead, I've used the arm posing and face shadows I've made it look as if she is some villain taking in the aftermath of their actions. my favourite piece has got to be the stump that covers her legs, I had no idea this existed but I'm so happy I found it and I think it connects well to the outfit, and helps it feel darker.

Title: The Moth Eaten Princess
Challenge: #8 I Command Each of Ye - Covetous
Description:
"In a land of haves and have-nots there is none more piteous then the ones that had and lost, those souls who were fed now left... ravenous"
For this challenge I decided to go for a fairytale look to match with my commandment... Originally I strove for a more straightforward peasant look, but as the outfit built up it ended up being these glam rags you see today. The fake quote above explains the basic mission statement of my look for Talia, that of an envious ex-royal here to crash this gala and take anything can get her hands on like a moth nibbling up silk!
Starting with the background, I wanted it to have that Cinderella vibe of a poor girl that just wanted to be invited to the grand ball. To achieve this, I stacked a glittery hall with green and gold highlights with a window view that worked as both inside and outside as I knew I wanted to show both back and front views for this look. I ended up throwing on a little green fog and an overlay to mute the colors as I couldn't help playing up the 'green with envy' trope and the muted colors helped the outfit feel more like a storybook page.
For the outfit, I ended up layering several flowy see-through skirts to get this threadbare ballgown effect with the skirt leg combo giving the perfect allusion of our Moth Princess stepping into frame. I ended up combining the upper dress with these gloves because I liked how from the back view it made my model look like she was peering in from the outside which connected to my theme of her wanting to be in and possess the opulent castle corridor behind her.
For her accessories, Talia is wearing a feathered headpiece that connects to her moth earring for a little more elegance in the look. She also has some flowers scattered in her hair to fit the moth-eaten vibe, all the while her eyeliner is running from her (green, bedazzled) envious tears!
I originally was trying for funny 'Me, my girlfriend and her $400, 4 feet long Gaia-tan body pillow' but it was pushing the definition of adultery and the avi didnt take a lot of items to make, so I went for more traditional interpretation 2nd time. (i posted the first one beneath it cause its still funny to me XD) I went for her partner came back unexpectedly and caught them look. Maritza wrapped herself up quickly in sheets and the other guy is quickly getting dressed up. I tend not to include speech bubbles, but it quite was fitting here so I let it pass. The room they were in was a bit bright but to make it look like her partner suddenly came back in middle of night, I used some light tricks to get it dark in right places Also, Gaia needs more companion items, specially at right side
●・○・●・○・● »»-----------► Status: Complete »»-----------► Designer: smol bab »»-----------► Theme: I Command Each of Ye: Exodus 20:7 »»-----------► Model: Amren ●・○・●・○・● »»-----------► Title: Omg! »»-----------► Description: This was a pretty interesting theme to have, had to really pick my brain about what the meaning was since I was not raised religious but have heard the saying before. I didn't want to go overboard and overthink it so I went with something simple that I think conveys the point enough that it doesn't need to be verbally explained. You'll see Amren in a simple setting, in front of a store, and she's let out an oh my god, which to my knowledge is taking the lords name in vein. You'll see she has some tape over her mouth as a consequence of this action showing that she should not have said it. I've added some sweat drops and a "frightened" mood bubble that shows her distaste for what she's said, I also thought the bubble was fitting since it had a little angel coming out the mouth. I've dressed her in casual clothing to show this sin can occur in any kind of place, any time. Since this is still about fashion I've matched her shoes, shirt, and hat color-wise as well, also thought the angel wing on the hat was a nice touch. Reading about this commandment it just seemed like a very simple one that doesn't have much to go off of, I could not figure a way to make her doing something "non-christian" since that's very different for every believer. Anyways, thank you for this very interesting theme I enjoyed building this outfit. ♡
Top Designer: mythological irony — Sumati • How you managed to pull a 180 from last challenge, to this one is not lost on your Judges! You killed this look with both your interpretation and execution. It's cute, it's clean, it's classic ... It's fashion. • The motif was apparent, and the description was crystal clear, so the addition of multiple thought bubbles felt a bit too 'on the nose'. The Judges would have preferred a bit more nuance.
Dickjoke — Talia • This is a stylistically gorgeous piece that is well balanced, and uses the space effectively. As well, the muted greens were exactly the right choice to connect their style/creativity to the motif/description. • Your interpretation was very much on the cusp of being too abstract, and had you not executed every other criterion perfectly, your motif score would have suffered greatly. As well, it could have been more advantageous to use more background decor (clutter) rather than a full backdrop.
ShiroOkazaki — Aubrie • First, your concept was brilliant and truly refreshing as it related to the theme. And the way you distributed contrasting shades of black throughout was impressive AF. Though, your greatest feat was how you presented an almost all-black image, that looked light! Mastery like that is akin to sorcery. • This can read 'assassin' just as easily as it can read 'heist', because a single, little vault isn't enough to sell your intention. Discerning the two themes could have been as easy as establishing a more influential setting (ie. adding art/frames, machines, electronics, etc.)
Detrimentum — Helena • The description was a true delight, and the honesty you served the Judges within the words, made everything about your entry come to life. This is a tried and true silhouette for Helena that always highlights her femininity. • The Judges are concerned that you might be playing it too safe with your Model, as the 'billowing dress/ skirt' look is losing novelty. However, they couldn't decide whether to embrace subtlety, or to 'ham it up'.
ICLite — Lulu • The pitch for your unconventional motif really paid off here, luring the Judges into appreciating your eccentric disregard. Certain items were also praised for their use, such as Lulu's stumpy legs, and the dark filter. • In future entries, ask yourself whether your look can only be conveyed through an explanation. And in the case that it is, tone down the philosophical approach just a bit. Also, it would've been nice if you hadn't gone quite so dark with the filters.
smol bab — Amren • There is consistency and flare in the outfit Amren is wearing. It's clear that you prioritize fashion over decor, accessories and backgrounds. Also, props on your description — You've got some serious sales techniques! • This entry somehow comes across as both basic and busy, all at the same time. Where the Judges wanted to see a little pizazz, there was little; And where they desired simplicity, it appeared overloaded.
clowniing — Rhiannon • It is strikingly clear that you've taken the time to learn Rhiannon's strengths and weaknesses, which has paid off to your benefit. Even with one of the hardest themes conducted, you still managed to choose an excellent colour scheme, and use ideal items to enhance your Model's body. • Addressing the elephant in the room: Your understanding of the challenge theme was in reverse. The goal was to show off the Models partaking in the sin, not to uphold the commandment. As such, your motif score suffered horrifically.
Ultrabord — Ava • The Judges had been looking forward to seeing how Ava would change in the hands of another, and they weren't disappointed. The description was fantastic, and realistically grounded the theme to make it more relatable. You took on many risks that paid off! • Then again, you also took on a bunch of risks that didn't pay off. The plan that slapped in the description fell apart once it was on the Model. The aesthetic didn't appeal to any of the Judges, and certain items (like the fur) were used questionably.
Eliminated: Haji Demon — Maritza • The Judges were prepared for this particular sin to act as a double-edge sword. Being one of the easiest sins to portray meant you had to work twice as hard to be creative, and make it unique, which you did. • Using backgrounds, companions AND thought bubbles all in the same image wasn't the best call to make, as they overwhelmed the design. Then there's Maritza's outfit itself — While the wrap works in the setting, it's not fashion, which is the primary objective.
HELLPRIEST — Seren (Extension: Apr 20th) • Boy, are the Judges glad to wait for this one! Everything from the perfectly clear interpretation, to the symbolism and style ... This entry ROCKS! The Judges especially ate up the bits of symbolism, like the pentagram and addition of hooves. This was truly *Chef's Kiss* • Not everyone was sold on the predictability of going for a devil look. As well, it was thought that a few more black accents could have been added to the background.
