Salem's relief and excitement at winning was soon replaced by anxiety and anger, upset that Nuke appeared to be seriously hurt! Fans hushed to a worried quiet, medical personnel coming down to try and tend to Fusion! The referee attempted to pull Salem away, but "Showtime" shrugged him off, not willing to leave his friend!

It wasn't until an EMT approached to ask Salem to please back away for Nuke's sake that Croft relented, moving to a corner as he covered his mouth with a hand and watched them tend to him!

As the time passed on, the EMTs were just about able to get Nuke to a conscious state, but it was one in which he wasn't coherent. Slowly they worked him out of the ring and on to a waiting stretcher, as the fans all watched on, alongside Salem.

The crowd began to ******** you Adrian! ******** you Adrian! ******** you Adrian!"

Salem heard the chants cussing out Adrian, breaking eyes off the ailing Nuke to glare at the commentary desk where the man was sitting smugly, tapping a cane on the desk in mockery of the crowd. Things started coming together in Croft's mind, and the realization made "Showtime" grit his teeth and ball a fist up!

He wanted to slip out of the ring right then and attack the man, take payment for what he'd cost him and Nuke right out of Adrian's a**. But right now his friend needed support, so Salem scowled and followed beside Nuke out of the ring and up the ramp as he was braced on a board and secured to a gurney, keeping a hand on his mentors bed as it was escorted to the back!
