I went to the mall today in lolita.
I was kind of dissapointed at the lack of comments I received xD
All I had was some old man in Borders tell me he liked my socks o -o;
[and my mom ask me why I was so dressed up to go the mall =__=;]

I never get strange comments when I go out in lolita o -o;
In fact, when I wore lolita to junior/senior banquet last year, one of the waitresses came up to me and asked if I was wearing gothic lolita! Needless to say, I was very shocked xD
She told me her daughter was into that stuff :3

On my way to numerous conventions and just going lolita for the sake of doing it i have gotten interesting reactions =) almost all positive, it's one of my favorite parts of exploiting such a deviant fashion. Mostly it's just ladies saying " Look at the prety lady" or people honking their car horns and saying i look like a princess... or... just silly things, mostly people just ask what the occasion is. i have yet to see someone critique my clothes....

Gaaah... My English teacher thinks it's cute, but she likes my more colorful outfits better. I went to Borders and *of course* when I was looking for the 3rd OTRFK novel in the manga section, some random guy commented on my outfit. Good comment though. Said he liked it. Whatever.
Then there's the guys at my school -- I don't know any of them, but I've been deemed "Cutter", "Emo Alice", "Maid" and just had random pervy comments thrown at meh by loser assholes.
Then theirs the kids in the anime club who just can't hold themselves together when I get a new skirt. *sigh*
Today, I didn't dress out in P.E. and one of the girls in my group asked if I was in drama. XD "No. It's not a costume."
*she obviously doesn't see me outside of that class*
I went to the mall with my friend recently, and when we were walking into KB Toys, some old lady just stopped and was STARING. I mean, I get stares a lot, but she just was blatantly OBVIOUS about it. Geez.
Yes, lots and lots of stares though. I ignore them 'cause there's no use in worrying about it.
My friends think it's cute though. Two of them are actually interested in the style, but don't wear it or anything... though we do have tea parties and picnics and talk about what kind of outfits we'd like to design.
Haha... Is it wrong of me to say I like the negative reactions? XD Not the gross ones, but just the stink eye. XDD For some reason, pissing people I don't know off is just so amusing.
wonderouswashu, I know how you feel~! Whenever I know I'm going somewhere in public, I make sure I'm wearing a loli skirt instead of just a skirt, 'cause feeling pretty is fun~!

Lucky you. The worst I've gotten is "Go get ********, whore."
The best I got though, was "OH! You look sooo cute in that! Where did you get that outfit?!"
I laughed at both. rofl

I live in a VERY small town. The people here... I'm simply amazed that their brains function let alone exist. When I go on strolls I ALWAYS carry my black umbrella. Since the people here haven't a brain I get the comment, "You know it's not raining right?" quite a bit. Then there is the ever popular, "Devil worshiper!" or "Oh no it's a vampire!" and my favorite, "The queen of darkness has arrived!"

Once we went shopping to a little mall, and we had on some pretty simple Loli dresses-no platforms, or little tophats, just mary janes and bows and such.
anyway, a ******** MALL cop stopped us and searched us, claiming that he had the right to do so to any suspicious mall-goers.
Maybe he thought we were hiding a BOMB or some such stupid thing under our voluminous skirts, with a threat to destroy the evil shopping center..... stare

Do not let him do that ever again. you ask to speak with a police officer. I hate rent-a-cops, they think they are real cops. If he asked to see what's in your bag, maybe but if he ever asks to touch you, SAY NO! He has no right to touch you! he was probably being a perv. Tell him to get a real cop with a warrant. You have 4th ammendment rights saying you and you're belongings can not be touched without evidence of you doing something wrong.

Sounds like he just wanted an excuse to feel you guys up. surprised
I don't think rent-a-cops actually have the authority to search you if you haven't done anything wrong.
