RP Response: Troy had to shut his eyes and just listen for a while. It sounded like there were more and more people waking up around them. This was...bad. If only he had his utility knife, then he could at least start trying to do something to help the situation. His head felt so foggy...he just couldn't think straight...dammit, what the hell did they drug him with? It even made him feel like things were crawling on him. Wait....it was only on one knee. He opened his eyes curiously and saw one of the little leaf bugs, a rather brightly colored one, had crawled onto his knee and was looking at him. The little antennae were twitching towards him curiously. The color it was, though, made Troy wonder if it was even real or just a trick of his blurred vision....so he held out a finger to it. Surprisingly, it climbed on and he brought it up closer to look; it was definitely real. "You're so pretty...you stand out from the others. I bet that makes you easy prey, too." He watched it start to crawl over his hand, slowly turning it to let it keep moving. "Well...you're welcome to hang out with us until whatever's going to happen to us happens. You'll be safe for a little while.? He absently pet the fennekit that was with him with his free hand, watching the bright little bug just crawl around on his rotating hand. It was kind of funny, in its own way.

RP Response: Max was still trying to find a way to get out of his cage and find a way down, which he wasn't having any luck with it wasn't like he really knew what he was looking for but he could get lucky. Perhaps feeling around he would find whatever was holding his cage closed it was always possible even if it was unlikely. He continued on with what he was doing not really paying attention to the leaf bugs. Considering watching them had not worked in getting them to come closer so he had decided on a different tactic in his desire to make friends with one.

RP Response: Max sighed he had no luck finding anything and his eyes hurt and his brain hurt, so he sit down to close his eyes and rest for a while, this was so not what he had been expecting when he had signed on for this adventure. Then again would it be an adventure if things didn't go wrong? If they had strolled in and found Dr.Horn no problem and walked back out no problem then this would have just been a simple job, he opened his eyes and looked around, they would figure this out they had too. He started trying to think of things again.

RP Response: Max looked around trying to see who else was trapped in the cages at this point he got closer to the bars of his cage scaring the leaf bugs back again, they were super shy little creatures and he really did want to touch one, but it was more important to know who was stuck with him and if they could work together to get out of these cages. He couldn't remember any chimeras who had come on this trip, and fey weren't strong flyers, for that matter he didn't think anyone who could fly was with them, so no flying for help.

Marolyn woke up, a pleasant surprise all on its own. Her lungs burned and it felt like she had one of the worst hangovers. Rubbing her face made her realize that her rings were gone. A quick check of the rest of her possessions and she was down all her jewelry, her leather jacket and her ponytail holder. Her bag was also nowhere in sight as she looked around.
"What the--" Caged, hanging up in the forest she'd passed out in with tiny bugs trucking it past her on the tree she was hanging from. A short distance away she could see other cages hanging.

Kicking the side of the cage didn't do much aside from shove her back into the other side of the cage. Marolyn knew this because she had tried it more than a couple times now. Frustrated, she lashed out once more with her feet before settling against the bars.
"Hey! Anyone in the cage over there?" Marolyn called out. She caught glimpses of something in there, but it could have just been one of the little bug critters. Unable to think of what else to do, she reached an arm out to try to coax one of the little bugs closer.

There wasn't a response to her shout, so she focused on getting one of the little bugs to pay attention to her.
"Come here you little bugger. I just want to see what you have there." It looked like twigs, but maybe she could use them to jam the lock. At least she hoped to try with the twigs. They even took the bobby pins out of her hair! "Just. . . get over here in range little cutie."
The nearest one was a soft pink-y color; it was kind of pretty. Bottling her frustration, she acted calm and reasonable so it would approach her. Hopefully.

RP Response: Isley opened her eyes and looked around. Her vision was kinda blurry due to the venom in the darts. She rubbed her eyes and tried to looke again but her vision was still a little fuzzy. She heard noises and voices. She made out that she was not the only one in the room. She was scared and didnt know what to do. So she closed her eye and laid back down. "Maybe if I just lay here they wont hurt me and think I am dead " She thought to herself. She open her eyes again and this time she could see. Her eyes widened when she seen where she was at. "Dont panic. Dont panic!." She slowly crawled to the edge of the cage and looked down. She heart beat faster when she seen that she was nowhere near the ground. The she remembers that there where other up there. As soon as she started looking around to see if she could see if she know any of them. "Oh my goodness." She looked at all the cages and it was alot of the other that she went on the trip with. Then she smelled a familiar sent. "Raliegh!"she said as she looked around at all of the cages.

With the sun falling and the bright moon of Above starting to glow above them, the expedition team finally reconvened at their carriages - well most of the team. One of the first to return, Clare waited anxiously as the others arrived in small groups. After an hour of waiting and listening to what they had all found, her nerves finally got the best of her.
"Where is everyone?" She asked desperately, her ears twitching. "None of the forest group came back! And you found an arm! And what about those twins? I swear I saw them in the flowers just before I came back..." Someone volunteered to explain the situation - the twins had licked some mushrooms and ran, hallucinating, into the forest. Clare's face paled as she listened to the story, her eyes drifting to the thin forest where half of her team went missing. What choice did they have?
"Well... we are on a rescue mission already," she said, slowly and deliberately, "and the clues you all mentioned pointed that way, didn't they? There is clearly someone out there, someone armed and dangerous. No more splitting up, understand? We move as a team and keep an eye on each other. Let's go." She knew she was walking them all to their doom, but what else could they do? Abandon the dozens of people who had come to help Dr. Horn? To help her? The rest of the team seemed to understand - they had all known the risks, after all - and together they carefully made their way to the forest.
This was, of course, a mistake.
After an hour of searching the forest for the lost expedition members, your team was slowly picked off and ambushed, resulting in everyone's inevitable capture.

RP Response: Max wasn't really sure what else to do at this point getting down didn't seem to be something that was going to happen anytime soon and he wasn't really sure on chatting with anyone, and looking at the leaf bugs hadn't gotten him anywhere so far. He sighed and sat back down watching the leaf bugs march around the trees. He wondered who had captured them and why they had. Were they protecting there home? Was there a group protecting a treasure? He rubbed his eyes the possibilities were really endless and they had no way to find out while trapped.

RP Response: Max started playing with a leaf that he found in the bottom of his cage, he was getting really bored being stuck in this cage and not able to move or do anything. He sighed out deeply as he ordered leaves in his cage in his boredom, he was a hallowed of action and being stuck in a cage this long didn't sit well with him, he really wanted out of this and to know the next chapter of the story. He made a skateboard and ramp out of leaves and pretended he was not stuck in this cage, but out skating instead.

RP Response: Max sighed and brushed his leaves away pretending the problem wasn't happening was not going to help him at all it was just silly weakness that was not doing him any favors. He just wished he had some idea how to help himself and the rest of the group he looked around and perked up his large ears trying to listen to see if anyone else trapped in the cages had any ideas on that was going on or what they could do to get out of this mess. It was always possible since Max had only been in the forest a short time before being captured.

When Saiph awoke they lay with their eyes still closed for a moment longer. It was more like they suddenly became aware of themselves again rather than waking up to an alarm like they normally did. Thus they already felt a little out of sorts. They took a moment to remember why they didn't have an alarm set, when their body pointed out how uncomfortable it was laying on the wood slats. Another point of curiosity. Then the sounds came to their ears and none of it was familiar. Was Saiph sleeping outside? Finally they were curious enough to open their eyes and sit up. Immediately their head wished Saiph had stayed still but what was done was done.
