Lt. Chambersite

Chambersite had walked back confidently, hoping that he would be able to see what was so special about this tower. Obviously something was considering the trouble they had gone to with the gear. He would have to spend more time here, exploring, hopefully discovering why they had seen those illusions. Where they were from, what time period, so many questions to be answered! And it would take so much time! He only wished he could be here most of the time instead of having to be a civilian and getting a job and all of that. It almost seemed like a waste. What was the point of keeping a civilian identity if he just wanted to be in the Negaspace and help the Negaverse?

He had waited for the group to finally cross over the bridge, though he had raised an eyebrow when he remembered how large it was with all of them there. The bridge might have held all of them, but Chambersite hadn't been so sure. But that couldn't be answered anyway, as the bridge was destroyed and instead a giant youma appeared. Again. Seemed the place was just full of them. And since they were supposed to have been human before... could they have been the occupants of this place?

It didn't matter though, as they had to engage in battle once again! Chambersite once again summoned his turnip toy and threw it at the youma. No way was he just going to go in and hit it himself!

The return trip had been uneventful and Reinerite had joined others in filing back into the Courtyard from where she started.

With the gear from her part of the mission collected, she was assuming that she (and the other gathered officers) would be debriefed and then dismissed.

She was not expecting the bridge that she had walked across only moments ago to shatter or the large figure that rose up from under where the bridge had once stood, but she understood enough to know that there would be another fight as her hands calmly gripped her staff.

This time it seemed that they faced a toad - a giant toad with billowing gas that Reinerite was pretty sure that she didn't want to get too close to, as she prepared to swing her staff.

General Faustite

The Rift was in rare form for the beasts it belched from its endless wastelands. In came another monster, violent and venomous, seething with a venom gas that clouded the lot of lieutenants nearest it. Faustite held fast to the gear, now flecked with spots of black from the general's own misgivings. Better that they avoid it —

But Alkaid's command was to hold ground. Those that could fight needed preparation; they needed an edge that offset such weariness from inhospitable explorations. A wordless command to eir squid youma sent a pool of ink across the ground, clear and viscous, pooling in jagged crevices. In another moment, a cloud of dark black exploded out of the general's body. Blazing eyes searched for the available officers.

"Officers, ignite your weapons: dip your weapons in my youma's ink, cast them through my smoke. Better that it suffers."

Captain Annabergite { 27 points }


He was already in a towering temper, and this did not help in the slightest. In fact, it made it worse, Annabergite streaking forward without thinking, the daggers held tightly in his gloved hands. It was possible he was being reckless, ignoring the actual severity of the situation, but he didn't care.

It wasn't like anyone was going to miss him if something happened, anyway.

Corrupted Super Sailor Gadolinite { 21 pts }


He did not have enough magic to sustain continuous and uninterrupted attacks, but that wasn't about to stop him. Gadolinite was not exactly a shrinking flower, and he ran forward without hesitation, wheeling a roundhouse kick to the youma's side as best he could, under the circumstances.
