Seeing a great opportunity, Edge, out of desperation, would try to duck and attempt a SPEAR while his opponent was in mid-air!!!

Sting was taken down with the spear, and is down in the center of the ring!

Edge, having barely enough energy to have executed the counter, would lay down, breathing heavily once more. He'd stay that way for a few seconds, until he tried to crawl to Sting, and try to place his arm over his chest, going for the cover!

Sting would be covered for 1.....2..... but would kick out at 2.75 to stay alive!

Edge didn't capitalize at the right time! He'd get off his opponent, not believing what had just transpired! "A kickout?! How?!" he'd argue with the referee!

The Rated-R Superstar would continue bickering with the ref. "How could it be a kick out?! I CLEARLY HAD HIM FOR THE COUNT!" Edge would hear the referee's explanation. "HOW ABOUT YOU DO YOUR JOB!" Edge would grab the referee by the shirt, clearly pissed off at a supposed 'slow count'.

Edge, infuriated would push the referee down, the ref's head bouncing off of the bottom rope, putting him out of commission!

Sting was thrown over the top rope, but holds onto that rope and his feet hit the apron, and he stands there holding on!
