I think they actually did get rid of it in forums, but it still works in Guilds because Guilds are so unacceptably outdated.
Gaia refuses to update the Guilds systems because Guilds don't make them any money. And that's not theory, that's exactly what the admin Zero Omega has told the GGN Moderators' Guild.

I don't think spamming the OOC thread alone just to raise your level is actually allowed. Fine if you post here to talk to people and chat, but just randomly posting to raise your level is probably gonna get a Crew member breathing down your neck... >_<
