The spirit stared at him and nodded, floating off to find someone to help him. It was a bit later when another spirit came in, her mouth a thin disapproving line. "A living meta... well then. What is your injury?"

Kylar frowned before responding, "Really now? I've stubbed my toe and it has nothing to do with the I assume apparent gaping holes in my eyes that are bleeding." He sighed before adding, "A meta pierced my eyes with their fingertips and they grew into me like some sort of plant."

"Ah I'm sorry I thought those were always there since you're not screaming in pain and just you know complaining. So which one is hurting the most? Your eyes or your toe? " she said dryly as she floated closer to look.
The original spirit was nearby watching curiously "I wonder if they will grow "

"The eyes, I was being sarcastic about the toes." He sighed again as he responded thinking it should have been obvious enough. He asked, "Can you do anything about it?"

"Hah,I was being sarcastic as well" she said unhappily but moved to look at his eyes. "Huh ....it's already leafing ...." she said reaching in there and using some energy to grab and pull them out before throwing them to the side.
"Eeee! It's alive to!" The second spirit said moving to where they were thrown.
"Uh huh" the first said and just kept pulling until leaves stopped growing to take it's place. "Huh..." she reached in and started pulling out roots, using spirit sight to easily differentiate. Assuming Kylar didn't pass out or leave she finished and healed his eyes a little while later. "All done"
Kylar's sight was back but blurry as leaves made a small mound on the ground, roots looking for a place to bury and seem to be heading right back toward Kylar.

Kylar did his best to bear with the pain, screaming out when it became to much to handle. After some time when his vision began to return he looked for a source of fire and destroyed the plants that were attempting to grow within the underworld. After dealing with the plants he returned to his room and changed from the dull garb that the Haven facility had provided for him before opening a rift to Sanctuary. He needed to speak with Zen about his father as soon as possible.

"Well! that's the last time I'm helping him. Not even a thank you " the healer spirit said looking annoyed as Kylar left and burnt the only plant that looked like it wanted to grow here.
"Hm ..maybe because it was painful"
"Of course not! It was just a little pain, he should have just sucked it up"
"Uh huh.."

Sanctuary was as calm and pristine as when he was last there. The buildings were as they should be and no hint of violence now or before marked the grounds.
The door to the main building was open and still life was out enjoying the sun at the steps.

Kylar took a moment to confirm that things looked normal before calling out, "Hello, is anyone here? I'm looking for Zen." He walked into the open doorway of the main building looking around for a moment as he waited for a reply if one came before carrying on deeper inside.

The still life looked up belatedly once a Kylar passed her and blinked in confusio. Sightless eyes seem to follow him as he called inside. "Mira is here, you are looking for Zen? He is in Te- his office " the Prometheus still life did as she got up with a gentle smile."Is there something Mira can help with?"

Kylar nodded and did a double take at her eyes before responding vocally, "Yes, could you direct me towards his office, it's important that I speak with him." He took a step away from her, in case she motioned with her arm where it was before adding, "Mira was it?"

"Mira can take you mister?.." she let the question hang as she got up, using her hands to follow along the wall."Yes Mira is Mira, are you a friend of Zen's" she ask leading the way toward the offices of the Elders.
In one a black hair man with gold eyes was carefully building a house of cards, a look of fierce concentration on his face when they entered.

Kylar considered the question for a moment before responding, "Not exactly. He sent me a letter the other day however. I came to discuss it with him." He followed behind Mira observing her until they entered the office of the black haired man. Kylar spoke to Mira, before turning his attention to the man in the office. "Thank you, Mira. Zen I presume?" He stepped into the office and held out a hand towards him, "I'm Kylar, the one the tiny horse delivered the message to."

"Oh! Okay" she smiled and waited a moment before leaving the room.
Zen blinked from the cards and looked up a little hesitantly. "Um yes..."he looked at the cards then to his hand before moving into action a little sheepishly as he shook hands. " I remember... but why are you here?"

"I'm here about the thing that came along with your letter actually, a visit from Haven." Kylar said before adding, "I've come to believe your fathers life may be in danger and wanted to inquire into his whereabouts." He looked Zen over as if trying to gauge his reaction.

Zen just looked utterly baffled. "Um..Haven?" He asked confused then looked to the door and back a little nervously. "I don't know what you mean... but Tendren is okay. Nova is keeping a watch on him"
