Zeke had come come back up sputtering, scrambling to get his feet under him again in the choppy surf, while still maintaining a grip on his weapon. It took some staggering, non of his graceful, but he managed to get back to shore quick enough.

Coughing, he scrubbed water from his face with his arm, pausing for just a second to recollect his bearings, and then he was rushing for the giant beast of a golem with Lagertha's handle slipping from his fingers so he was holding the big axe by the chain, swinging it around fast and faster until finally letting it loose to smash, points first, right into the side of the damn thing.

Yanking it back took a bit of effort. It'd sunk in, and wasn't coming back easily He jerked at it, once, twice, before it finally came free, but by that time he was having to dodge another series of swipes from flailing legs.

He didn't avoid them all.

It was really timing and luck that let Zeke be in the right place at the right time to grab ahold of Ever's collar as the other man tried to wrestle free of the Lobster's many legs, hauling him out from under the damn thing before it had a chance to bring one of those sharp limbs down on him. Again.

He shot him the briefest of glances, just long enough to note a lack of blood or obvious injury before his attention snapped back to the golem.

{Release the storm, boil!}

At Lagertha's urging Zeke brought the axe up and around in a heavy swing, but the lobster jerked, lunging at another hunter, and the swirling wind went right past it, missing entirely. It left the Mist staring up at it for a long handful of seconds in irritated disbelief before loud, frustrated sound escaped in a rush.

Terry tried to fight back. He really did. But it was effort not well spent. Maybe he really should consider just letting himself get buried in the sand completely.

The runes on Joy's bladed shovel were aglow. She didn't need to have her weapon tell her he was ready. It was only in battles did Bert ever truly open himself up to his bonded. And he gave the very distinct impression that to unleash his potential, he needed Joy to pave the way for him.

No pressure, right? the intermediate Moon wryly smirked, waiting for the space and opening. She withstood the slamming tail of the golem before unleashing a flurry of strikes that aimed high and low.

She could hear her weapon tell her to slash at the golem. Again. And again. And again. And again.

Not wanting to be outdone, Brittney attempted to dodge, failed, took her beating, and then proceeded to try and stab holes into the water golem. She knew it wasn't going to end up looking like Swiss cheese but when did something as stupid as logic and reality stop her from doing something she wanted to do?

"What can I say...?" He chirped quite cockily. It wasn't every day that one had the opportunity to successfully capture a falling lady in their arms.

He was, definitely, glad he hadn't dropped her.

She looked to be in about the same shape he was in but pride, and maybe a desire to impress, had him holding himself like he was totally and completely fine and definitely not like his fear shield was close to cracking if he wasn't careful.

"But I mean, I can still hold you right?" He laughed at himself knowing he was being completely and utterly ridiculous. "Looks like you got some good hits in at least?"

The Lobster looked like it might go down sometime in the future.

Another swing of the knife, Iskander growing a little more breathless and wearied with every movement.
