Garron Davidson ⚾ Team STUFFS Bottom of the 3rd, 0 Outs, 0 Puffs VS. 6 Stuffs 1, 4 WalkAlready? Already...! It was time to get back to bat, and maybe even a second rally? Then maybe they could shut out the Puffs and end the game early anyway ( and all score some concession stand goodness with hot dogs and popcorn, maybe some fresh cookies ). Man, it all sounded fantastic in his head. Living the dream, and keeping a discerning eye again, he managed to collect the necessary 4 balls for a walk before a hit or a strike out. Way to go, Way to go, Garron! One base closer to a hot dog'n it. Maybe a Chili dog. oooooh and some cheese. Chili-cheese dog.

Ming-Na Han ⚾ Team STUFFS Bottom of the 3rd, 0 Outs, 0 Puffs VS. 6 Stuffs Runner on 1st Base, and on 2nd Base! 3, 3 WalkOff to a good start, with Davidson getting on base. Let's make it a repeat performance, righto? C'mon cmon cmon, just get on the bag and then it's one-two and then a three and someone can clear the bases. Patience won the day again with none of the glory of actually hitting the ball. Again. But getting on was getting on and Ming-Na would happily take walking every time up at bat if it meant being a scored run later! Four balls, a walk down the lane while Davidson advanced along the baseline to second. "Just a hit, Farrell, just a hit and keep it runnin'! Heya heya you got it, Honey!" _ - _

Rayna Farrell: (Team Stuffs)
Bottom of the 3rd 1 out. Puffs 0 vs Stuffs 6 It was the bottom of the 3rd inning and once again Rayna was feeling the nerves as she got ready to bat once more. Of course given her team's performance last inning she had nothing to worry about. Team Stuffs had really taken it to the Puffs team and had kept them from scoring at the top of this inning. Seeing her teammate before her reach first base gave Rayna hope that she'd be able to follow in the same way and get on base. Knowing that waiting for the absolute perfect pitch was pointless she swung at the first ball thrown towards the catcher and surprisingly made contact with the white sphere. Taking off for first base Rayna still tried to keep an eye on the ball before ducking her head. As she tagged up at first she glanced to the first base umpire in time to see that she was being declared out. Whelp, it looked like her hit had been caught. Returning to the Stuffs dugout Rayna grabbed her a glove in preparation to return to the outfield.

Bob | CROWD Bob still wanted the chicken.
Bob was still about to pounce Yuuri for said chicken.
Bob continued to stare down the dark haired boy in a Mexican standoff with the other Mauvian, ready to fight for his poultry.
Quote: this filler post was just an excuse to show off my MSPaint worthy Bob, sans tie (it's a casual event okay there's no need to be formal)

Robin Attewood / Team STUFFSBottom of the 3nd, 2 Outs, 0 Puffs VS. 6 Stuffs((crap, I forgot! sorry!)) Once more it was Robin's turn at bat. He sauntered out to the batter's box confidently after taking a couple of warm-up swings and settled in, bat held nearly straight up in the air. Wiggling his butt, he swung at the first thing that came across the plate -- and connected! The ball bounced along the ground straight to second base. Robin caught a glimpse of it as he ran for all he was worth toward first. Unfortunately the throw from second beat him there and he was easily tagged out. "Well, s**t," he muttered, making his way back to the dugout. He gave John Jr. a pat on the shoulder. "Go get 'em, mate."

Thankfully, the conversation was pulled away from him as one of Colin’s friends hit a home run, and he laughed at the way Colin jumped up and waved his pom-poms around.
"I saw, I saw," he promised, smiling bright even though he didn’t have the energy to do much more than that. It was nice to see everyone having fun though. "Better than I could do," he added with a sheepish wince. But pitchers weren’t always known for their batting average. He had an excuse. Sort of.
"You said his name was Quenton?" he asked, making a mental note and wondering if maybe he and Quenton had already met. Maybe they hadn’t. "He’s pretty good," Chris said as he clapped for the players. ——————— It wasn’t long before Yuuri realized that this was probably an absolutely horrible idea to tease these two huge cats, even with Pasi’s warning. Yuuri let out a small squeak of distress when Bob shoved against his arm, and Tiberius shoved against his other. Yuuri wasn’t that large of a person to begin with, but sitting next to these two fluffy giants made him even smaller.
"W-wait," he squeaked again, trying to keep the chicken held up above his head without knocking over the little tray with the rest of the chicken at the same time, and trying very much not to get mauled by two hungry cats.
"I was joking! I’m sorry! H-help," he gasped, not thinking to just let go of the chicken because the cats might not see where it fell and maul him anyway. He tried leaning back to give himself some more space, but his elbow missed the bench behind him and he found himself slipping back, stuck between the two benches.
In the process, the chicken ended up spilling out onto his lap and the bench beside him, and he had no idea where the piece in his hand went. He was just trying not to get crushed. ——————— "Homework sucks," Peter agreed. "I’ve got a few books they’re making me read for general ed classes. Man, I can’t wait until you get to college. I think it’s just me and Benji for now. We should totally look at getting an apartment or something together. It’ll make, uh… going out at night easier," he said, although it was pretty obvious that he meant senshi stuff. At least he thought it was pretty obvious.
There was a pause in their conversation as someone hit a homerun, but Peter waved it off because although it was cool, he was busy trying to make plans with his friend.
"Perfect," Peter said with a grin, arms crossed over his chest as he tried to think about the best way to go about involving his friends without putting them into too much danger.
"Okay, this is going to be great. Can you think of anyone else who might want to help? I don’t want to get too many people involved because, well… I don’t want anyone hurt, but the more people there are, the more information we can collect, I think."
He clearly had a one track mind about this youma thing.

Mi-Hi Harrington / Team PUFFSTop of the 4th, 1 Out, 0 Puffs VS. 6 Stuffs It didn't feel like they were in the outfield for very long at all, with the three batters from the Stuffs being knocked out pretty quickly–
And whilst it hadn't been as a direct result of any of her actions, at least Team Puffs were up to bat again.
Well make that specifically that she was up to bat again.
Mi-Hi had had time for a bit of water, before swapping glove for bat and then she was once again out and ready to bat.
She wanted to hit the ball so badly, wanted to help her team finally get on the score board...
But none of it had gone to plan, as she ended up getting a foul ball.
And to boot she was once again out on her swing which meant that it was back to the dugout for her.
Hopefully the next batter from the Puffs would do better.Ivynian I have no idea what a foul ball out is so hope this post fill is okay, but if not I am always happy to post tweak. Also I think from the order that nps Billy Barrinsdown and Jackie Hayworth are up next to bat and on deck 3nodding

Billy Barrinsdown : ⚾ Team PUFFS ⚾ Top of the 4th, 1 Out, 0 Puffs VS. 6 Stuffs <6,2> Batter Strike Out One down, one down after a really great try to get it down one of the lines, but foul balls that were caught in the air were an out. Passing Mi-Hi on her way back to the dugout, Billy bit his lip an offered a conciliatory nod, “Good try, good try-” And it was his turn to give it a go. And he wanted it just as badly, because they NEEDED to get on the board. They were in the bottom of the fourth already, and they’d not gotten onto the scoreboard at all. There were only 7 innings in a full game, and over half-way with no score at all was daunting. But he swung and missed. Swung and hit a foul. Then swung at something that was probably a ball instead of a strike…...which made it a strike. Three strikes, batter out. No good, no good. C’mon ……Jackie Hayworth : ⚾ Team PUFFS ⚾ Top of the 4th, 1 Out, 0 Puffs VS. 6 Stuffs <5,1> Pop Out Buncha no luck for the first two up, and Jackie was feelin’ the pressure to keep the inning alive and try to get on base. On base at the least, or in at home if the ball-gods above were merciful and would let them get onto the scoreboard. Jackie tried being more prudent which watching the pitches, only swinging at strikes. No fouls, no grounds, the sweet spot was to hit the ball like a line-drive between fielders or just over the inn field and too far in for the outfield to catch it in the air. And Jackie HIT! Buuuuut didn’t have any claims to the sort of control cherry picking the exactly location of the ball went which could have really helped. The linedrive went RIGHT to the Stuffs Rightfielder, Rayna Farrell, for a catch and the last out. “NUTS!” Jackie scuffed cleats through the dirt and headed back to the dugout to get going for another go in at Defense in Centerfield. tefla Rayna Farrell, reaction chance as she’s catching a line drive~ X X x "A Quick Three for the Stuffs. Their Pitcher and Catcher are a Dynamite combination for being a pick-up-team. And what luck with their new fielder out there, catching what comes their way. "
"It's going to be a tall order for the Puffs now, keeping up their spirits to hold that 6 run line and not let another rally rock them. What are the rules on early ending that way?"
" 10 run in the 5th. If a team is losing by 10 runs and they don't close it less than than by the end of their at bat in the 5th inning, then it's a Mercy Rules loss and the game is over. "
"So if the Stuffs pick up 4, and then hold it still to a 10 - 0 through the top of the 5th where the Puffs are at bat, it's game over? "
" That's right. Same thing in the 3rd inning, for softball regulartions, but its 15 runs in the 3rd. "
"Clooooooose cuttings here.....You can hold 'em Puffs! "
" No way- GET FOUR RUNS Stuffs! "

Rayna Farrell - Team Stuffs (Rightfielder) (( catching Jackie Hayworth's hit to right field reaction ))
So far not many balls had come out her way. Not many balls had been coming out into any of the outfields: right, center or left because of the superb pitching from her team's pitcher and infield positions. Her team had a seemingly commanding lead over Team Puffs. Fighting the tinge of boredom that had begun to sneak into her mind while her team was not at bat was becoming a little harder to do. Rayna had been trying to think of new places she could take her metal detector as a result. It was perhaps fortuitous that a particularly loud cheer roused her from her musings as the Team Puffs batter sent the ball sailing ... right in her direction. Tracking the ball's trajectory was tricky with the sunlight threatening to momentarily blind her but the teen wasn't about to have the chance for a shut-out slip by her team's grasp.
Realizing that she needed to close the distance between where she needed to be to catch the ball Rayna darted forward with her glove outstretched. What seemed like eternity was only seconds later that the ball thunked solidly into her glove and she closed the leather around the softball in order to trap it, sealing the third out for the Puffs. Grinning at her good fortune Rayna hurried in from right field, dropping the ball near the pitcher's mound with a small grin and rushed to her team's dugout.

Patrick O’Ryan ⚾ Team STUFFS Bottom of the 4th, 1 Outs, 0 Puffs VS. 6 StuffsBases empty -- Pat out, Charlie's at bat((I think >.<')) Pat didn't have a lot of time to really process anything when it came to what was going on, at first he was at bat but when the kid at bat got out he was shuffled back into the field for the top of the fourth inning which quickly reverted to bottom of the fourth with four consecutive outs. So the next thing the tall redhead really knew he was standing at plate with a bat in his hand and a ball heading right for him... s**t. It was with shear luck itself that the bat connected with the ball sending it flying into the air, nearly straight up! It was pretty clear it would never make it out of the infield but it was still a good hit so Pat took off towards first base only to hear 'YOUR OUT!' by the ump when the third baseman or woman in this case caught his ball. ((Sorry im late filling this in >.<)) litian Mi-Hi ok with catching the ball? if not can always change it

Mi-Hi Harrington / Team PUFFS (3rd Base)Bottom of the 4th, 1 Out, 0 Puffs VS. 6 Stuffs It really wasn't looking that good for their side given that the Puffs were yet to feature on the score board - but the game wasn't over just yet–
And maybe just maybe her side would be able to pull something off.
At least Mi-Hi liked to believe that her side would, because if would be nice to actually place - even if it was only by one point.
It was with that thought that was topmost in her mind as she headed out to third base ready to her best in helping the Puffs knock the Stuffs out so that they could get back to batting...
And trying to score.
She wasn't expecting the ball to come flying in her direction, actually managed to catch more by accident than by design, her green eyes eyeing it startled for a moment because she had actually managed to catch it - really managed to catch it!
And it seemed that she had managed to catch someone out, the umpire confirming it.
She had done it - had managed to help!
And there may have been a smile on her face as she threw the ball towards the Puffs pitcher so that the game could resume.kuropeco Just for a brief Fritz mention
