Once the man slipped him the number, he had kept the number in his jacket pocket. Roy had a hard time seeing, his sight wasn't as it was awhile back. Having lost his eye, his vision was very minimum and he had to rely on his good eye a lot which strained him. He didn't realize until now how upset Ed was getting?! Just because the man touched his shoulder? He had no idea why the creature is getting mad? Surely the reason couldn't be of the other being protective of him? He hardly doubted that? "Ed?"He blinked, seeing the canine made the man step back from him?!
"What's wrong?"He then blinked, seeing the man hiding behind him? He saw how nervous he looked, "Sorry...He's not normally like that"He answered, "It's okay, calm down, boy"He said, trying to calm the blonde chimera down, petting his fur.
Was it something about this man that bothered Edward? Was this man connected to what he was searching about? He couldn't be sure? He might as well check this man out. "Sorry I better head out with him, I will talk to you later"He said. He headed down the path with the chimera.

The chimera didn't look back to the man when Roy called his name. He stood between Roy and the blond man not moving hackles fully raised now and deep low growl coming from his throat. Derek nodded when Roy tried to assure him that the creature wasn't normally like that. Derek knew better of course but again he continued to rely on the protection of the alchemist believeing his innocence. He didn't even calm a bit when Roy pet him and told him to calm. Derek nodded once more when Roy said that he would head oout with the chimera. He didn't continue to follow, and waited until the chimera followed the man with a last growl before he moved away. He didn't try to continue to follow, he knew better.

Roy knew Ed's behavior was unpredictable! The last thing he wanted was for the canine to attack this man. He felt suspicious of him now...for whatever reason that is. His senses told him to be, he didn't want to believe it. He guess he will confirm it later. It will be at a place and time where Ed isn't there and he knew the other was safe.
Once he felt like the man wasn't following them, he noticed the look on the chimera's face. "What's wrong, Ed?"He asked. They were by themselves now, so it was okay to ask him. He wasn't sure if the blonde will tell him what's up or not? They still got a half mile before reaching the Rockbells. He can already see the farms and people out and about!

The chimera whilst following the alchemist kept an eye out behind him. Whe Roy asked him what was wrong the chimera gave a huff of annoyance. "Bad...Ed....bad..." the chimera ground out then looked more frusterated. Stopping and sitting on the ground the chimera rubbed its head with a front paw before trying to speak again. "No...bad...ed...bad..." the chimera growled out but again seemed frusterated like its mouth and mind couldn't form the words it wanted.

"Huh?"He blinked, hearing the chimera speaking and he was a bit confused as to why the other thought he was bad? He noticed the other stopped and he turned to face the blonde haired creature. Roy walked over to him and got down at eye level with the other, "Your not bad, Ed...You did nothing wrong"He said, petting his head. "I was confused, why you were angry? Do you know that man? It seemed like you did?"He asked. The flame alchemist could see how much he was struggling to articulate what he wants to say? The best he could do was try and guess what he was saying.
He wasn't sure for Edward if it was an instinct thing or the other being over protective or that the man was the person he was looking for? He needed some answers.

The chimera looked up to the dark haired man when he got down to eye level with him. When the man tried to tell him that he wasn't bad and that he had done nothing wrong the chimera growled more than frustrated now. He got that he was having trouble communicating but at Roy asking if he knew the man the chimera nodded. "Yes! the chimera exclaimed. "Bad...bad...man..." the chimera tried. "Take...Ed...bad." the chimera continued.

Roy was trying to remain patient for the blonde. He knew the other was trying to come up with the right words to say. Okay so he was getting somewhere now! Having seen the chimera's head nod about knowing this man and had confirmed it. He thought back to the conversation he had with him.
It finally had hit him, that this man was one of the people responsible for Ed turning out like this. Why didn't he see it earlier? "No Ed, Your going to have to trust me on this...I got a better way of handling that fool"He said. The Flame Alchemist was the last person anyone should mess with. When someone messes with his subordinates that is unforgiveable...Especially his favorite.
"The last thing we are gonna do is make a scene in town, I don't want any casualities"He answered. He planned on giving that phone call to set up that date. He had been distracted to noticed this sooner, just cause the other was smoking hot and he was sleep deprived. "For now I think its best to head to your family's home and rest up...They are worried about you"He answered. "Come on...I will tell you my plan later"He said, softly, as he pet the worried and slightly angry creature's head. He knew it wasn't the response the other wanted right now, but it was better. It was better to be in top shape rather the state both of them are in.

The chimera tilted it's head a bit confused when the man said that he would have to trust him. Finally pieceing that Roy had misunderstood him in how the man had taken him the chimera shook it's head. "No, bad..man...take...Ed." the chimera repeated. He didn't want to capture the man, he wanted to rip him to pieces but the chimera knew it couldn't do it now. He wasn't sure he liked Roy saying he had a better way of handling the man. The alchemist had no idea how dangerous the man they had met was.
When Roy said that it was better to head to the rockbell's home at the moment the chimera gave a snort but stood to follow. Somewhere the chimera knew his family was worried but the other part of it dreaded going there. It knew it's presence would only cause sadness so it did not look forward to it. It nodded when Roy agreed to tell him the plan later and walked beside him for the last half mile to the home. As they approached the chimera kept a sharp eye out already catching sight of winry on the balcony above. Shying away a bit behind Roy was almost instictive having the memories of many a wrench being thrown at him from there.

Roy had other intentions in mind in how he was going to handle this man. He wanted information and to find a way to help Ed restore his body back to normal?! Others will tell Roy he is wasting his time and that the Fullmetal Alchemist was a lost cause. He was going to try, he already lost someone who is precious to him, he can't go through this again.
As they approached the residents, he could see the old woman smoking her pipe, Winry on the balcony and Al was no where to be sight? He was being kept busy was in the back chopping up fire wood.
The old woman, exhaled the smoke and gazed over to see that similar blue uniform! Her eyes widened, as he she dumped the access nicotine. She had quickly gotten up and went over to the General, then noticed a blonde figure cowering behind him. "Edward?"She questioned, seeing how scared the chimera looked. She sighed, as she got down to eye level to the creature, "It's okay, your home and safe"She said, in a soft voice.
"Where's Alphonse?"Mustang asked.
"In back"The older woman said, "Shall I go fetch him?"She asked.
"No I'll get him"He answered.

The chimera moved a bit more behind Roy as they approached the house and Pinako came towards them. The human side of the chimera knew that what he was wasn't a good thing and would only upset Pinako and Winry. When she called his name the chimera looked up golden eyes guilty and a bit frightened like he thought his family would turn him away. When she crouched down to his level and told him that it was okay that he was home and safe the chimeras tail wagged gently and the fear faded. "Safe." the chimera repeated. When Roy asked Pinako where Alphonse was the chimera perked up more. "Al?" the chimera asked.

She went over to him, hugging the chimera crying, she could never turn away her boys. She knew them since they were babies they basically became part of her family. Not long ago, Al's body was a suit of armor, now Edward was a canine creature. She didn't care what form these boys took, she love them unconditionally. "He's in the backyard"Pinako answered, to the blonde.
Roy had walked out in the back to see Al chopping wood, seeing the blonde turned to look at him. He smiled, "General Mustang?!"The blonde greeted. He placed the hachet down and walked over. "Is my brother with you?"He asked.
"He is..."Roy started, "Just as a heads up, he's different"He said. "We found him in a lab and we were to late..."He said. "Im looking for leads on how to get him back to normal"He said. "I also know someone who was part of this...I will take him down"He promised the younger, Elric. "He's out front if you wanna see him?"He asked.
Alphonse nodded, as he ran past Roy now and up to the front. He halted and his eyes widened, seeing his brother. "Brother...?!"He said, a bit shocked. Without a second thought he ran over to him and he hugged him. It brought back terrible memories, especially about Nina Tucker.

The chimera was startled as Pinako moved to him and hugged him. The scent of tears and the crying had the chimera giving a soft whimper and whine. He wanted to comfort her but was unsure how to do it. He wanted to follow Roy when the man went to find Alphonse but didn't move from Pinako especially as Winry was coming down and out the door as Roy rounded the house. Winry too came and hugged the chimera crying and the creature whined a bit more before trying to nudge her with his nose.
When Alphonse came around the house and called out to him the chimera looked to its brother. The he was being hugged for a third time and the chimera snorted in annoyance but let Alphonse hug him while the two women stood aside. After a minute or so he nudged Alphonse like he had done to winry. "Al..." it stated.

Mustang could see how said everyone looked, it was better they found out the truth than him lying to them. It broke his heart, he then caught a death glare from the blonde Rockbell. He could tell she was blaming him for this! In some respect it was his fault for this having happened in the first place, he couldn't stop Ed. No one could ever stop Ed, the blonde was a free spirit.
The blonde haired male pulled back, hearing his name and he gazed into the golden hues. He gave the blonde haired chimera his full attention, wanting to know what he wanted to say? "Brother...?"Al answered, as he got down, sitting down.
The ravenette watched them and he walked outside, in the backyard giving them their space. He rubbed his face, as he was completely stressed out. He reached into his coat and gotten out a flask he had and took a sip of it. He didn't have to look as he heard footsteps, he could tell by the weight the person carried themselves, that it was Winry. "You have nothing to say about this?"Winry asked.
"..."He couldn't find the right words. He placed the flask hidden away in his coat. He turned around to face, Winry.
"How could you stand there?! Why didn't you save him?!"She hissed, slapping Mustang's cheek hard! "Oh right...like you killed my parents"She barked out.

The chimera was unaware of Winry glaring at Mustang as Alphonse pulled back and sat down with the chimera. Shaking off the chimera sat down as Alphonse did. "Al...good?" the chimera questioned. He sat there with Alphonse keeping an ear out for Roy as the chimera had noticed the man wandered off. When Winry followed the chimera stood listening intently. The moment he heard her speak and yell at Roy the chimera was moving. Exitting the chimera gave a growl to get attention. "No!" the chimera barked when she slapped him. "Roy...good...roy...save...ed...bad...ed....get... take..." the chimera demanded. He needed Winry to know that without Roy he would still be in that cage, maybe have let the animal take him completely to never return. Without Roy he might be dead by now with no chance of his return. "Roy...good. Roy...fix...Ed." the chimera continued.

Alphonse nodded, "Im okay"He said, wiping his tears away and giving a sad smile. He then noticed Edward move fast. Everyone headed towards the sound of Winry screaming at him!
The dead was nothing to Roy it was the living that he feared the most. This was it, he was facing his past. He could say he was sorry until he was blue in the face, but it won't change anything. He wasn't expecting her to forget or forgive him.
Winry was about to slap the man again, until she heard Edward. There was no way Roy was putting up a fight with her, if she wanted to kill him, he wouldn't try to stop her. "How will you do that huh?!"She snapped, as she began to cry.
"Listen, Winry..."He started. "What I did in the past, I can't change it. I would if I could...right now...I working in the present...I want to help Edward, I care about him as much as you do"he said. "I don't ask for your forgiveness...I was following orders"He answered.
"My parents did nothing wrong!"She snapped. "I WISH THIS HAPPENED TO YOU, ED DIDN'T DESERVE THIS!"She hysterically cried. She then took off, going upstairs. He sighed, as he tried to reach for her but couldn't, He placed his hand on his cheek, she had got him good.
"Im sorry, about her behavior..."Pinako answered.
"No I saw this coming...I don't blame her..."He answered, seeing the look on Ed's face. "I'm okay"He said, seeing his worry.
