He was feeling pretty confident about his word choices. He always loved it when adults got all 'weird' about him knowing 'such big words'. He wasn't a ******** toddler, despite what many adults might think. At least for now that innocence really worked to his advantage.

J - Jam
A - And
N - Nams
G - Go
O - Opposed

Response: N-nams? Was that even a word? Jango ... wasn't entirely sure. Maybe he was just making it up, or maybe it just rhymed with 'jam'?
Jango couldn't explain his reason, and supposed he would find out once he handed in his assignment if his teacher would accept his word. For some reason, Jango kept thinking of cows ... were nams cows? Jango shook his head as he peered around the room, staring to see what the other kids were doing. Many kids were finished, and many were still thinking over their word choices ( and a few even had thesauruses open). Jango didn't feel his was very good or creative, but at least he was finished ...

Username: Smerdle
Student Name: Amory
Character Chosen: Raphael (TMNT)
How are they a Leader?:
Quote:
"Leonardo would probably argue that he is the true leader of the turtles, but everyone who looks closer knows the real leader is Raphael. The rest of the group follows him even when he doesn't tell them to, and though his methods of getting what he wants are unorthodox, they are still obviously effective."

Her guardian used to insist Raph was a whiny, pathetic excuse for a ninja who caused nothing but trouble, but his favorite was Donatello, and therefore his opinion was invalid.

"The fact that he doesn't know he's leading half the time proves that true leaders are born, not made." She looked around the classroom, calmly taking in her peers before she announced, "The end," and re-took her seat.

Response:
Quote:
Amory had never aspired to be a leader in the traditional sense. She was perfectly happy with her position as subtle influencer in her party of two, which was probably why she chose to speak about the most unintentionally manipulative non-leading leader she could think of.

She waited for her turn, never wavering from her choice, and when it was time, the chimera stood and delivered her report. As she finished speaking and sat once more, she shot a glance at Thian, his smirk matching her own. She wondered what he would pick, but ultimately it didn't matter. Her answer would always be better.

Student Name: Kean
Bio: Kean is a very cute little demon who has a mom, dad, and an older sister whom he likes to annoy a lot. His favorite toy in life so far is his stuffed kitten, which he likes to use to play with in case no one is willing to play with him, and he tends to keep it with him as much as possible. But Kean also recognizes that even Kitty needs his sleep sometimes, and will carefully tuck Kitty into bed when he has to go off to class and can’t play with him.

Response: Describe himself like in a book? But Kean was only a small little freshling who hadn’t done much besides be… well, a freshling! Aren’t story characters a lot more heroic and OLDER?! He couldn’t understand why he would be in a book, other than perhaps being described as a troublemaker like his older sister always called him. But he didn’t think he was much of a troublemaker, after all, he was a good boy… most of the time! So what if he wanted to have a bit of fun?! Grown-ups just seemed to be no fun, or at least not do anything fun. Adulthood seemed awful to him. Which is why he wondered what the point was of spending so much time in school as a kid! If one didn’t do fun things as an adult, and could only do them as a child, then why weren’t they letting freshlings have all the fun that they wanted?

Username: Nashawryn
Student Name: Georgette
Bio: Georgette is a small sized child who is a Slaugh/Kirin mix. He lives with his adoptive family and he has a plush bunny with a horn and tail, just like him. He favorite activities are learning at school and reading books. He enjoys curling up with a blanket, his bunny, and his book each night and reading a few chapters. He has a mohawk, which is different from other Kirin, but he dislikes having hair in his face. He is a typical boy who enjoys running around outside in warm weather.

Response: Georgette smiled, as books were his favorite thing anyways! He enjoyed reading all the books his family could get him. Thinking about being in a book himself was very exciting. He wondered what kind of book it would be. A mystery? A scary book? Maybe an adventure story? Hmmmm... He hoped it’d be a mystery, where he got to follow a bunch of clues so he could catch the bad guy and rescue people! Or maybe it’d be one of those books where he got to help someone with an injury get better. His adoptive family was always encouraging him to be a doctor when he grew up. That’d be pretty neat, right? He shrugged and went back to writing his paper for the teacher.

Username: TanuKyle
Student Name: Kyle
Bio: I am Kyle. What is a Kyle? A Kyle is a hybrid of many things. A Kyle is a freshling. A Kyle does not like picking a gender. A Kyle likes shorts. A Kyle likes skirts. A Kyle doesn't like tight clothes. A Kyle likes his brother, Dayn. A Kyle likes the colour pink. A Kyle likes soft textures and cold places and the dark. Dens are the best for a kyle. Especially ones with Dayn in, ones with blankets and cushions and stuffies and in a dark corner! Kyle likes hiding when they is o-v-er-whelmed. (This word has crossings out, but is finally correctly spelled). A Kyle needs to learn to control themself better though.

Response: Kyle sat, staring at the paper, pencil clutched delicately between their claws. They lowered it to the paper, then raised it again, tapping the end against their teeth, then chewing on it softly. Crunch. Snap. Oh. Well, they thought they’d been chewing softly. Spitting out the bits, they went a fetched a new pencil guiltily, and then started writing. How to start? Somewhere simple, they thought. Laboriously they wrote out their letters - whilst clever, they had little patience, and had often been told off for slapdash handwriting and illegibility. The words were relatively simple, but the repetition was good they thought, gave it a real feeling! And they’d used that long word one of the caretakers had told them the other day. Overwhelmed. They’d had it explained to them too. Spelling it was difficult, but they’d done it!!!!!

2. Must be at least 150 words total
3. ??? Profit!

Username: - Mynsed -
Student Name: Lilly

Response:
Oh no. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?! Lilly chewed on her pencil, trying to recall details. She was forced to pay attention on most of it. But not all. And she forgot a lot. But… describe a candy room, right? That should be fine…

A room she would have liked to see would be… a marshmallow room! That counts as a candy room, right?! Lilly was practically drooling as she thought about taking naps on the marshmallow floor and rolling over to take a huge bite out of the sweet, white, fluffy goodness. Would it be bouncy? Maybe… And the walls would be marshmallows too! And there could be different colors, like the light green and pink ones she’s seen. After finishing her description of the other candy room, Lilly began to doodle at the bottom of the page a bunch of… marshmallows? If any one were to see the doodles, they would just think of them as badly drawn circles. Lilly was quite proud of her work.
Marshmallow Room
There are marshmallows everywhere. The ceiling is made of yellow marshmallows, but a very pale color. The walls of a pale blue marshmallow. If you run into the wall, you’ll bounce right back! And the floor is plain white marshmallows. I’m pretty sure that if you jump hard enough, you could bounce right to the ceiling!

The marshmallows also taste differently. Some have a strawberry taste, some a lemony taste. The floor is a plain marshmallow though. It smells very sweet in the room. And these are a special type of marshmallow that don’t get sticky!

There are chairs made of marshmallows! They kind of look like beanbags but they are so soft to lay in. Softer than the floor, for some reason. And there is a toasted marshmallow table with a graham cracker tabletop. It’s better for chewing on than to write on, though. It would be too bumpy.

Original Story: Three little pigs

Story: The house sprite loved to bless the houses that the three little pigs made. Each creation was a treasure and the house sprite was very happy with each and every one of them. The house sprite lived in the straw house first, enjoying the warmth and smell of the hay. Truthfully, there seemed to be miscommunication on both the pigs and the wolf’s side. The wolf just said some… misleading things, the pig would respond out of fear rather rudely, and then the wolf, suddenly having hay fever, sneezed. And the house sprite was blown out of the house.

The house sprite fled to the house of sticks next. Soon after, the straw house pig was also there. The house sprite hoped this wasn’t going to be an issue. It seemed the first pig had started a conflict with the wolf. And then, the next day, the wolf arrived at the wood house. The house sprite spotted the hay sticking in the wolf’s fur and fretted. Obviously, the wolf wanted to talk things out with the pig. But when he breathed in to speak, the hay tickled his nose and he sneezed again, blowing down the house of sticks.

Cursing, the house sprite fled to the brick house, certain that this creation could hold off. The two brothers ran there too. Now, the wolf was feeling quite guilty and appeared to have come to apologize. Since the brick was so thick, words were mixed up between the pigs and the wolf. The wolf, somehow, ended up climbing up the roof. The house sprite, annoyed at his creations being destroyed, lit a fire in the chimney as the wolf climbed down. And well… the rest was history. Needless to say, the house sprite lived snug in his brick house.

Response: Birkita stared blankly at the assignment. How… was she supposed to do this? She hated candy and sweets. But… this was an assignment that she needed to pass. So she sighed and thought of matcha pocky. And then, pocky in general. That would be interested. Everything built out of pocky, like a popsicle stick log house. The tables, the chairs, the roof, the ground. All layers and layers of pocky. But… what to hold them together?

Probably a thickened sap of some sort. There had to be a strong substance that was also sweet. Maybe heated sugar that solidified? And with the different flavors, there would be different colors in the room too. Different patterns. It didn’t have to just be cookie brown and green. There could be chocolate brown, strawberry pink, banana yellow, and more. It would certainly smell sweet… Birkita was nauseous just thinking about such a sickening room.

Introducing! Willy Wonka's Secret Ice Cream Lab. Ever since his recipe for an ice cream that never melts was stolen Wonka has been trying to expand back into the ice cream business. This room is a huge laboratory. The walls are lined with jars full of different flavor ingredients. On the back wall as a large computer screen which looked to be how you picked what flavors to mix. All around the room table of oompa loompas in tiny lab coats were tasting scoops of ice cream and scribbling on clip boards.

"If you can dream it, I can make it!" Wonka told the children. "Except blueberry pie, as you saw we are working on that one". He encouraged the children to make their own flavor. Winter, the small fey approached the large machine. "Just tell the machine a flavor child!" Wonka enthusiastically tapped the computer screen clearly proud of his work. Winter pondered for a moment then said "Peppermint Hot Cocoa ... with marshmallows!". Upon hearing a request the machine sprung to live, a picture of a cup of hot cocoa appearing on the screen. A series of robotic hands raced around the room taking ingredients from various jars and dropping them into the top of the machine. A few minutes later on the conveyor belt at the other end popped out a scoop of brown ice cream in a glass bowl. "Well! Try it! Go go" Wonka nudged the child towards the frozen treat. Winter took a bite and was shocked. "it tastes just like cocoa!" It was cold yet tasted warm and chocolatey. There were no marshmallows or candy canes but she could still taste the flavors of them perfectly blended into the mix. "Who's next?!" Wonka yelled over the group of excited children. The remaining kids made a beeline for the computer. This invention was amazing! Surely nothing bad would happen here.

Username: One Little Jay
Student Name:L
Bio: L is a friendly Mutant, he really does try to be everyone's friend. He has a hard time with this though on account of him being blind and mute. L has never seen anything, so if you were to ask him to describe himself he really couldn't. He could, however, tell you that his hair is fairly long, and the stitches on his mouth don't hinder his breathing. He thinks they are mostly for looks, and they do help convey his inability to talk without having to explain it everytime the simple gesture will do. L could also tell you his hearing is superior to most, he is able to gauge distances between himself and others pretty well from the sounds they make. L's style so to speak is a combination of soft and breathable materials, picked for their comfort and not so much their style. Thier are some details about himself L could not tell you. He knows not if he is tall or short, what color his eyes or hair are, what color skin he has. He once heard his friend exclaim how freaky his eyes were since they appeared to always be looking at nothing and everything at the same time, but L couldn't tell you what that means.

Response: L sighed, language art class always posed a challenge for him. He had been taking special classes to learn to write since he was a freshling, and while he had overcome one obstacle it seemed a whole nother mountain to describe himself like they do in books. Books always have such details about the appearance that he never could quite wrap his head around. Little nuances about their style or demeanor were things about himself that L was quite unsure of. L was not one to ever let a challenge stand in his way, he would never let his condition affect him or make him stand out. So much like any task, he got to it and put his heart into it.
