“She is. You and Araceae did a wonderful job raising the both of them. Fiore and Florence are turning into wonderful people” Alrai agreed. It was fun to watch them both grow up and change each day as they became their own people.

“Oh I know, and he definitely wouldn’t try until after he graduated the academy and got a few classes at university under his belt. Teasing aside it will be fun to see who manages to catch his heart. Hopefully they treasure it". Alrai briefly thought of his brother, who had found someone he carried for but they had given their heart to another. His family had a thing about setting them up for a lot of pain.

Speaking of the potential for a lot of pain he looked over at Morginn. He liked the fey that was obvious even to his children. So he had been toying with giving Morginn a feather, but would Morginn even know what it would mean… would one of his feathers even cut it. They were awkward and but he didn’t feel geist enough to try their courting methods.

About then was suddenly when the nezubat was thrust upon him and he looked up listening to Morginn’s words. It was such a radical change of thoughts that Alrai ended up bursting out laughing ignoring the looks he was suddenly getting. “Oh well I feel so much more assured now” he finally managed to get out. Apparently one of the juniors nearby felt worried for him and a bag of candy was also thrust into his hand.



Giotto started from the sound and went to go remove it but stopped them selves before they got to far into Rowan’s space. He didn’t know his friend well enough yet to know if it would be okay to invade it. Luckily Rowan pried it off seconds later and giotto was surprised to find out that yes their slimes were talking. Oh no, what if Rowan and he didn’t end up as friends or drifted apart for some reason what would happen to the slimes. Would they never see their friend again.

No, no morbid thoughts. He had promised Fiore that he would try to change his outlook which meant he’d find a way somehow. Unfortunately that was when his gaze drifted up and he noticed the look on his friend’s face. It was kind of cute in a way. Rowan really needed to work on his grumpy face if that was what he was going for. “yes it does seem that way does it”

Also apparently his familiar charm was still working, because unbeknownst to him a brown and pink Salamander just casually crawled into his bag content to wait for its new owner to discover him.






“I guess I am of the same belief. I mean sometimes it’s fun to try as just a thing to try and see what you get but I like to think our choices are our own and not so easily predicted.” Mielle pondered agreeing with Vincent. However it seemed like the universe didn’t want to be too serious and they were interrupted by a tiny okay not so tiny meow.

“Oh my, this seems to be a good spot for familiars… or at least they seem to be flocking to come meet us” Mielle replied chuckling a bit. “Yes they seem to really want pets and attention tonight. My new one practically tripped me on the way to come meet you." The culprit just looked up at her before going back to what ever it had been doing... which was staring at something over near the wall. Yeah don't look Mielle. Don't look.

Alrai finally recovered enough to stop laughing, which was a good thing considering how much his sides hurt. “Haha I guess it does.” He replied smiling for honest. Most smiles he gave were little and mostly when he was thinking of things that made him feel fond or amused. Of course that’s when he thought he saw a flash of familiar blue and purple talking to something but he was drawn out of his confusion at Fiore’s sneakiness when Morginn spotted some plants. He was just about to answer with a comment when something bumped into his legs really hard and he had to phase through Morginn and said plant booth as he was falling. He noticed Fiore’s sheepish expression before she darted into the crowd and that just left him looking up into the spectre fox’s eyes before it licked his face.

“We’ll totally have to tell him about the table later” Alrai stated pretending that he wasn’t totally under a table and nothing had happened. Thank goodness most of his height was in his legs.


“Yes, it does seem like we are getting a reprieve for the moment.” Giotto agreed and placed his own slime in his cross body canvas bag following after Rowan. Now Giotto wasn’t really claustrophobic but the second that they entered the main people he almost just stopped. There were so many people. Sure he was used to crowds of people considering who his parents were. However he wasn’t used to being in the thick of them. It was like a living entity that had swallowed them and they kept bumping into him as Rowan directed them through the crowd.

“Yeah sounds like a good plan” Giotto tried saying but his voice was slightly on the quiet side and he was afraid it was drowned out. When they got to the table Giotto noticed a brightly colored plushie just resting against the cloth on the floor. He picked up and looked around to see if anyone was looking for it. Frowning he dusted it off and put it in his bag. Maybe he could ask at lost and found or something later?


Finally getting into the building they slowly made their way over and Mielle totally cheered Vincent on and he played the game. She had her own bucket but good friend manners totally said you cheered your friend on first. Watching the game it was kind of like the knife throwing that her pink mommy’s circus did or at least it looked like the same skill set. You threw something at an object and hoped it stuck.

“I guess it’s my turn now” Mielle replied. It was a bit unfair considering her history but she was really only taking one prize. Sure enough all of them but one found their way around the bottle neck. Surprisingly enough instead of looking disgruntled the owner of the booth looked relieved and totally pulled out one of the imp like slimes.

“Oh thank god. Take it” and with that the slime was shoved into her hands. Mielle just kind of stood there blinking. Why did he want to get rid of this slime so badly? She looked down at the slime as it looked up at her and began totally nuzzling her hand. She then gave an owlish stare at Vincent.

It felt so wonderful to be home. Philo especially seemed happy to have Jerika back for a few days, and it was a great opportunity to rekindle her romance with Talfia. Except ... Talfia was being distant, claiming to be working overtime because of the Hunter's Jubilee festival. It was supposed to be a romantic time of year, and while Jerika wanted to do nothing more than to spend her time with Talfia and the kids, Talfia was otherwise occupied.

She couldn't blame her really. Jerika was proud of her wife for working so hard, and working such late hours was always a sign that one loved their job.

The geist had thought perhaps she could surprise Talfia at the festival by dropping by ... but, Talfia was nowhere to be found.

So, instead, Jerika decided to call on her friend Val. It was hopefully early enough in the day that the bar wouldn't be open yet, and hopefully early enough that Val could slip away if it was.

Jerika was leaning up against a post, holding a locket in her hands. The geist was hoping the two could revisit their childhoods, step inside the booth, and take cute pictures together to place inside the locket. That way they always had each other close at hand, even when they couldn't physically be together ...

Her heart was fluttering in her chest, excited to see her best friend in person again.

Kai had volunteered to help with miscellaneous tasks the committee needed done for the celebration. This was his first year with a partner on this joyous occasion and he was quite excited to spend it with Castiel. It gave him too much energy so he knew the best way to get rid of some of it was to help. He had done many tasks already: set up tables, hung streamers, and inflated some balloons, but the one he did the most was help make bracelets. There were specific patterns to do so time went by quickly and before he knew it he was late to meet up with his boyfriend. He stuffed the last bracelet he made in his pocket and went to find an advisor.

After getting permission to go enjoy the festivities, he began looking for the other. Oh man, what if he left because he though Kai wasn't going to show up? Kai's heart sank into his stomach at the thought. The fallen picked up the pace, trying to stay positive as his mind ran away.

There he was! Kai's wings twitched as his heart soar back into his chest. "Cas!" Kai made sure to be careful of others as he ran over to his favorite person. Without warning, Kai wrapped his arms around the other and lifted him into the air in a big hug. "I'm sorry I'm late, I was helping with bracelets and got lost in time." He set the other down, but stood close.

Errai was walking along with their new plush bear when their foot hit something hard. They let out a loud cry and then looked down, noticing a strange rock with eyes.

Remi was starting to feel like they were winning a lot of new toys when the person handed them yet another plushie! This time it was a cute goat with a heart on it!

Valik giggled when the game operator handed him a jackalope plush! It was so soft and squishy!

Giedi lifted a duck from the water that had a little star on it. He handed it to the person who exchanged it for a purple jackalope plush. He smiled and thanked the person, hugging it to himself.

Pandora wandered toward what looked like a pretty popular booth. She smiled when she saw that they were giving out handmade chocolates. She managed to snag a bag, hoping to share them with Arion.

Keriga was watching the crowd, trying to not get lost in the dozens of people. He nearly tripped when he stepped backwards, stumbling before he was able to catch himself. When he did, however, he saw a jackalope with a bowtie around his neck.

Amethyst continued her trek around the fairgrounds, pausing to watch when she saw some people dancing.

Kiessi smiled gently when they received a plant from the last booth. They wanted to get it home as soon as the night was over to make sure it would survive.
