There was no response this time.

Carn stared at her "Why can't you speak?" he stared at the collar then toward her face. "Look, we can't play around right now" he said staring as she pointed to an old wound. "Is there a way out upstairs? " he look frustrated. "At least try!" sounding frustrated and distress as he walked a little to glance out of the crack as the other came back then turned to her "Look if you don't want to talk to m- "

There was a loud scraping sound that allowed the yelling and crying from upstairs to filter down a little. "Jump" A familiar female voice said with a hint of amusement as two bodies hit the ground just outside the crack,exactly when the people near Carn and Andy started screaming they were back and rushing to go further in.

Carn cursed and backed up automatically, staring toward the gap as the same familiar voice said "eat"

There was still no response as a pair of footsteps and four pair of limbs headed in their direction just as the trap door in the ceiling was closed and locked, but not without the women shouting to find the rest echoing down.

A few moments later there was sound of eating as they pounced on the dead body again.

Carn was shaking as he reached the last room, a partially fulled cellar room with a wooden door with full and empty wine cradles. He started closing the door not even waiting for the others to finish entering, being shoved a couple of times before others help him and locked it. ".....So close! We should have ran after them!" he shouted accusingly at the others as he moved to Andy, staring at the door.

"Shut up meta" was a growl "I didn't see you doing anything! "

There was a soft sound of agreement from one of the other 5 people as Carn turned to glare. He said nothing, only stared at the door even so there was no sound of pursuit. Turning to look at Andy again he groan "They cut your tongue..... did you refuse to su-"

"Carn" the voice of an older man warned and went silent.

The intensity of the glare seem to be off center causing the others to frown slightly. Two of the five seem to be softly crying and sniffling while two others frown at Carn and Andy and the last just stood there watching the door and ignoring them.

Carn looked surprised and smirked very slightly at the others but more out of habit than not. Everyone was glancing toward the door now and then listening to the sounds outside.

"As I was saying did you refuse to suc-" Cain cough as water squirt directly into his mouth.

"I warned you. You do not need to use that language" the older voice said.

"Really?" Carn look frustrated spitting to the side and drying his mouth before shutting up and looking toward the door worried. "Look she was supposed to help.... this is Andy" he introduced her. "Andy this is.... some grumpy Xena, wonder human, demon meta, vamp meta, and kid number 1 "

"...You couldn't even be deigned to remember our names?"

".... with that outside it's best that we not" Carn said earning a glare from nearly everyone.

"Look.... I don't know what those things are outside. I was just grabbed .... mostly everyone here was grabbed or was duped by the worshipers "

The older voice spoke up again "I do. " he said quietly, disapproval of what had happen before still obvious in his voice. "Unlike your ....friend. Most of us do not have the same thought. At least if we die or someone escapes we will be remembered. My name is Jewell i'm a Xana. Then there is Albert...he is a human. Krystal is a.... hybrid, Laelius a vampire. Then Carn he is...something." voice showing disapproval again. "Lalia .....was to close. She .." he shook his head.

Albert grumbled but his has turned his attention to the door, which could easily break and end this chit chat easily.

%...you stop being hungry% there was a hint of disbelief in the mental voice at being asked such a question, but they were answering again.

"What? you can understand all those things she is doing with her hand?" Carn looked irritated as he stared between them.

"It's called sign language you a** h-"

"Albert" the Xana sighed.

"It slipped." the human said irritably, mostly to hide the fear as he stared at the door. Not...that it would stop them if they really wanted to get inside but for some reason they haven't.

"Yes, the room we are in has light. It is the only room that does. Out there there are wall sockets and working lights. It seem to have been part of a lab before but now most of those things have been cleared out" he informed her curiously.
The demon stood silently armed crossed while the vampire sat near the hybrid girl neither saying anything.

"Or we can stay here and drink ourselves to death" Carn muttered eyeing the wine bottles, a few he had already drank long before as he shifted his wings.

%....To survive % the voice sounded confused.
%...bitty's talking with the foood % the second voice sounded tired. %...full now sleeepy.%

Jewell frowned as he watched her sign, nearly wanting to ask her to do it again because he was not sure he saw that right. "The wall sockets are outside with them. They will kill you " he said in a matter of fact as he touched his own collar, just able to overpower it enough to have brought up water for them but that had been mostly it.

"Like you did your first day? " Albert said harshly.

"Look, I don't know about the rest of you but I wouldn't mind dying clueless than peeing my pants every time one of them moved outside. " he snapped, grabbing one of the bottles. "Look what even happened, we had the best opportunity to escape but wonder human thought it was better to stay and let them cause havoc upstairs then try to escape once they left. Look what happened, they still came back" Carn yelled back.

Jewell frowned and looked at everyone else in the room. It seemed extremely unfair but at the same time she said they left her alone for some reason even when they saw them chasing after her the first time. He looked angry, it went against his own principles to allow her to do this alone but it was suicide.

"Carn she said be quiet. She's going to go alone and try to get to one other wall sockets" he translated.

"What? Are you stupid? He just said they will eat you. I know you can't see but they already ate Lalia. " the pixie/still life was rubbing its wings together in agitation before moving to sit down squarely away from everyone else cradling the bottle of wine and giving Andy a disgusted look.

Jewell ignored him and looked to the demon as Andy nodded to him. The demon just raised a brow then shrugged moving to brace itself against the door and listen. After a moment he pulled back opened the door and shoved Andy out before slamming it shut again as the teen hybrid start yelling.

"It's okay ..." Jewell's voice could be heard softly followed by Carn's voice saying why do the good looking ones have to be insane as fuc**".

On the other side was a narrow corridor heading toward the crack in the wall. to the left and right were two more rooms but each one smelled stale with hint of fear and urine. Those two rooms were completely empty, the floors and walls cracked with the same indention as the cell above. One of the open doors had the symbol of Gaia etched on it but nothing more,

Outside the crack there was complete silence, but the smell of blood was heavy in the air.

In the distance and above was the soft sound of people yelling orders and questions.

As she moved along the wall she hit a metal table with multiple drawers. There was a faint hint of new rubber smell somewhere inside of the drawers even if most were locked. Each drawer had a name plate but the names were written on paper. On the counter were boxes with some type of liquid and another that felt like syringes. Further on, the table ended but there was a machine and and a mask like helmet on the floor. The machine itself was plugged in to an outlet in the back.

The noise from upstairs was mildly louder here but otherwise there was silence. As Andy walked past she felt something soft beneath her feet and the very soft breath of something nearby moving softly around.
