Chel | 15/25 | Being Stupid
"Don't forget you invited this piece of a** an' it's already tackled one b***h an' ready to go again, asswipe."
Said a 5'7 woman practically falling off the lounge couch she was sitting in from how exhausted she was.

Susan Greer - 25/25 - being a big gay baby as usual Susan paled at the feel of eyes boring into her. She jerked her head up to meet the yellow-eyed gaze of a woman she'd never seen before. She panicked, stared for a moment longer than she would've normally found acceptable because of those crazy eyes then dropped her gaze back to the floor, fidgeting nervously with her dress and doing her best- once again- to not pull too much attention to herself. She didn't dare look around the room more than that, because she had heard her name spoken by the man currently being consumed by flame (who actually didn't seem to be as scary as Susan first thought) and she wasn't sure if she was quite ready to confront the kind of s**t that she should be confronting right now. Because she was scared. And confused. And maybe a tad bit, well... hurt. But, of course, Temperance had different plans. Susan couldn't look up. She just couldn't. The papers Temperance was so determined to give to her fell on her lap and Susan swallowed but didn't say a single word. She just waited. Waited until Temperance was gone and she could breathe again. She shifted through the notes once the blonde had left, realizing what- exactly- they were, what the very last bit was, and feeling her heart skip a beat. Her hands shook as she folded the paper absent-mindedly into a square and tucked it between her boobs. She looked up at the yellow-eyed woman and realized with a start that she was still staring. "U-- umm..." She looked down again, cowed by the other girl's gaze. She willed herself to be smaller, more innocuous. If only I could just disappear... cibar1um watchin u watchin me eye see u

Shun Kuroda 25/25 | Grump's out.
"Chel," he hissed, "You were not invited. You tagged along to me. Remember?"
The gentleman's words to Temperance bothered him. Yes... they had done well to piss off the Spinel woman. But what else could he have done? Stand by idly and watch her carry on with her little show? Pushing himself off the wall, he started to leave the room.
"Find out what you can. We can reconvene later."

Chel | 15/25 | It's Not A Phase This Is Who I Am
With that insult to her pride (pride was ever so important to the Craft-Axten name), Chel stood up and frowned.
"Yer never on my ********' side!" she yelled after Shun. What more did she have to do to prove herself to him? Why she felt the need to prove herself was maybe more important, but she chose not to persue that line of questioning.
She muttered to herself, "Why the ******** you think I tackled her anyways?" Then in true troubled middle schooler fashion, she stomped off in the opposite direction, weariness and all.

connor hill - 25/25 - dredging up his ability to can and care He let everyone do their talking, not seeing very much point in adding on what little information he'd garnered himself when it seemed that most of it was already known, or simply not important enough for him to deem it worthy of mentioning. Remaining in his place by the fountain, he held up his glass in mock cheers towards Jack, before downing it and finally setting it down, reaching up to adjust his mask (or likely, just making sure it was still on securely, because like ******** he was going to put himself at risk). Finally, when everyone seemed to have come to their conclusions, people began to disperse, and Connor just watched them go, silently contemplating whether he had enough shits to give to actually get off his a** and do something or if he was content to stay where he was for the remainder of the evening, where it was meant to be "safe". When Chel stormed out, obviously angry and upset, he let out a sigh. "Nice going, detective asshat." He intoned towards Shun as he stepped away from the fountain, deciding to follow after her, frankly a little worried that out there on her own, pissed as she was, that she might do something more than a little reckless. Passing by Jack, he gave the tall man a gun and a wink, "Still glad I let you tag along, handsome?" He asked, smiling that dry smile of his. Well, at least he'd been smart enough to bring somebody along who used common sense instead of acting out of sheer raw emotion and extreme loyalty. Tall and green he knew he wouldn't have to worry about. Feisty and pink, however.... "Chel, wait the ******** up." He said to her, raising his voice just enough to be heard, as he left the room behind her.

Sunny Shore: 25/25, ignoring you, resentfully Sunny snaps her fingers and the floor is repaired, though there's still a gaping hole in the carpet. "I wouldn't attack Lady Melany," says Sunny. "She's like the Death Star." She smiles at Rylan, and says, "Did I?" But that smile says she knows exactly what he's talking about. The eldritch gentleman calls her his daughter again, and she says, "Cut that out already!" But she's silent as they compare information. There's no questions put to her, and so she doesn't speak. She watches, purple eyes flicking from one face to the next. "It's Court," says Sunny to Eve. "When has an aristocrat ever turned down an opportunity for a gesture?" Her stare bores into the back of the eldritch gentleman's head. She saw him eat that parakeet and she doesn't approve. She takes a resentful bite of her steak.

The Eldritch Gentleman | 25/25 | not mad, just disappointed The gentleman looks over the crowd, judgmental but silent. He moves, perhaps the most he has all evening, walking closely behind Sunny as he crosses the room. "I ̴am͝ ̕tr̨y҉in̴g̵ to p̵rotect ҉ỳo̡u," he murmurs, but not so softly that those nearby couldn't overhear. "Th͢e͞r͏e͠ ͟a̷r͟e ̵those ̶h̷ere ̕wh̢o ̨ẃo̢u͢ld͟ ͏see̶ ҉you d̸estro̡ye͟d̴." He continues his promenade, ending at the opposite corner of the room from which he started, mask as gravely apologetic as ever.

Autumn Smith 25/25, pontificating "I'm having this ******** up thought. Hear me out," Autumn murmured, looking over to Eve.
"We're playing court and all that s**t, right? Lords and ladies who want their asses kissed, and to get in with Melany's good graces? So... while you're out, try to put a bug in their ear about possibly having a better standing with Melany if the dupes are out of the picture. Cause they're the favorites now... but if they're gone, isn't that a slot to fill?"
God, she hated this place. This whole ******** up game, the whole premise. Autumn was going to be goddamn lucky if she didn't have a stress aneurysm from this. Her attention turned to Sunny.
"They still blow up the Death Star, though. We just have to find her exhaust port."
But... that still wasn't what she needed to talk to Eve about. Meandering closer to her pseudo-mom, Autumn rubbed the back of her neck.
"I'm... I'm really ******** sorry. The masked kid- Shiloh, I think? Made me see stuff that wasn't really there. Like... my actual family, back home. Fights I'd had with my dad." She swallowed uneasily. "For a ******** up moment, that... nightmare, I guess, was you."
And yeah, she was upset. Trying not to cry, even.
"It doesn't make it okay, but I wasn't actually talking... calling you... that. Or it wasn't the intent, anyway."

[25/25 | EVE]: talking to AutumnEve nodded agreeably as Autumn gave her thoughts. "That is the game here. Don't worry. You, however, might want consider sending an apology her way... preferably indirectly. I imagine she's in a bad mood about humans in general at this point, so some groveling from the worst-behaved ones might do something to help the 'acceptable' ones." Her words were clipped and sincere, but not quite malicious -- just less padded with the kindnesses she usually gave alongside criticisms. But then, she gave a smirk, and with a nod towards the door, added, "And if you see Shun, break his legs with that kicks of yours if that's what it takes to get him to swallow his pride." There wasn't time to spare for a proper hugging session after Autumn's apology, but the one Eve gave was firm and sincere to make up for its briefness. "Thank you, sweetheart. I understand." In one sleek motion, she shifted back into a fox and trotted back towards the main hall.

Cam Rylan | 25/25 | Talking to AutumnHe listened and he heard, and slowly things seemed to almost fall into place as he had feared. There was information here that he didn't quite know how to make heads or tails of. He didn't know enough about all of this... And with one more look at the eldritch gentleman, he gave Sunny a quiet nod and backed away, making his way over to a voice he found familiar. "Autumn," he said, his voice low. "I need to talk to you. Not here. In another room, maybe."

Autumn Smith 25/25, talking to Rylan "Oh, sure," Autumn blinked, not having seen Rylan earlier in the evening. It was a welcome relief, really. He hadn't been hurt or damaged by the earlier events... hell, he might still be on Melany's good side, if they needed it. She offered him a tired smile, looking around.
"Just... lead the way, and I'll follow, I guess!"
