Bisera - Post 8

Giving a bright smile Bisera said, "Well of course! He's just a cute little baby and needs to be taken care of! Not to mention that he needs to be spoiled by us since we are standing in for his perzi parents!" Not that perzi parents would provide bejeweled collars and other decorations but that didn't mean he couldn't! He'd make sure that their little kitten only got the best there was when it came to decorations.

"Hm? Ohh... well, I don't want you to spend all your money. It's not exactly a present when you have to buy the bits... though I suppose the last present I made you was made of pieces we found together." That was different those, those adventures versus Xarnith buying things for him so that he could piece things together to then give back to Xarnith. It was something that he could consider as far as customers went though. They could bring him materials and pay him to make pieces for them out of said materials. Something for him to think about more deeply later.

Giving a smile he lifted up some jingling anklets and said, "Oooh, these are nice! What do you think?"

Bushi - Post 8

Giving a smile and a nod he turned, lacing his fingers together, creating a step for Phaedra with his hands, "There you go, Sprite! Just step up and get comfortable." He said, glancing up at Aatos and Profit before he said, "Profit, hop over a bit, let the Sprite with with you."

The bright blue bird gave a chirping sound, wings flapping rapidly, before she hopped to one side to allow for more room for her to sit. Giving a smile he turned his attention back to Phaedra, helping her up onto Aatos before he got comfortable, waiting for the speech to start. His next moves as far as his business went all hinged on the words of the king. Here was to hoping that it was all good news... or else they might be heading to Awat sooner then expected to avoid the fall out that came with bad news.

Aqio- Post 7

Aqio followed Shesha, sticking mainly to the other's shadow to reduce the chance of gaining unwanted attention. When they came to a stop, Aqio glanced around. Keeping his eyes peeled for anyone he might know. The water male smiled softly at Shesha's back. The mage was a bit taller than the trainee assassin, but that was okay. Small assassins could hide better than tall ones. His ears perked at some whispers...things he kept of mental note. He spotted what would of been his target but decided against it. He noticed one of the older more experience assassins tailing them.

"Wonder what the King will say." the small male muttered. He looked around again. Not seeing anything of great note.

Abie- Post 7

Abie pulled Incanthis to his side, drawing a arm around Incanthis' waist. "This way we don't get separated." And he can get a small dose of feeling Incanthis near him. As they made their way towards the gathering of eager listeners. Abie spotted his Mentor. The elder Oban gave a wave to them, wanting them to sit near him. Abie figured the elder male had spotted someone that he didn't want to spot them. The water male paled slightly...could it of been Muata. Great. "This way..."

He led Incanthis to the spot. Smiling up at his Mentor who sat on a ledge above them as they settled on random objects below.

]Xarnith- Post 7

Xarnith nodded. "I like those...they'd look great on you." he gave the other a soft smile. He looked over a few things, head tilting as he spotted matching anklets to the one's Bisera held up. The ones he was looking at were slightly bigger. He glanced down at his own ankles then back to the objects. Those would work...he picked them up and jingled them. "A matching set."

He looked to Bisera. "Wanna get them both?" He wouldn't mind getting something to match the smaller male.

Teslaron
Post: 2

It wasn't his original intention to greet the woman before him by laughing in her face, but if he was being perfectly honest, Dris'rynne deserved it. Making those feminine squealing sounds. Besides, trying to hold it back nearly made him choke, and Tes had to cover up a spluttering bubble of laughter instead, tucking down to hide his grin in his hand. "Ahhh, please, moon maiden, you can't tell me not to walk up to the prettiest thing here with all these other scuzzbags slinking around." It was her own fault if she was startled by it, really. It was a surprise no one else had beaten him to it, anyway.

Teslaron smeared his hand down the rest of his face and righted himself. "And! I'll have you know that, despite the festivities, I haven't had anything alcoholic on this highly special occasion." He spun on his heel, bounced, and propped himself on the crate at Dris' side. "That's more than I can say for everyone else, honestly. If there was ever a time to let go and enjoy the day, now would be the time." He patted her hand.

"We could probably get one just about anywhere... There are plenty of vendors ab- hm?" He blinked and turned to glance at her and was actually moderately surprised to see the woman looking fairly interested in the day's proceedings.

He couldn't say that he disliked the parade or wasn't interested in it. But it was basically the same show every year, and he had lived in Oba for as long as he could remember. It was exciting and an event and he wouldn't miss it if it could be helped, but there were plenty other interesting things that happened during the parade. Like the influx of strangers. Shifter women included. "You struck me as more of a leader than a follower, buuuut if you want to hear some guy prattle about lording over people he knows nothing about, by all means, let's go."

Shesha - Post 9

"It's a good question, I suppose that we will see soon enough." He said in response, though he didn't glance the way of the little fish. Shesha's eyes were on the point where the royals should be popping up. News should be coming their way soon and soon they would be able to see how things were doing around Oba. He found himself hoping for good news before bad news might disrupt the way things were going around Oba. People being on edge due to bad news meant fewer parties, few parties meant few chances to rub elbows with the higher ups. Not something that he wanted to deal with that was for sure. As such he'd offer up a prayer to all of the Gods and Goddesses who might be listening, the God of Judgement Nerad especially, that they would hear good things.

Crossing his arms over his chest the slender mage awaited the announcement with baited breath. Once the news had been announced he would either return to enjoying the festival or he would return home, mostly depending on if the news was good or bad.

Incanthis - Post 9

Giving a little nod Incanthis moved in sync with Abie who was leading him forward, toward the Mentor who seemed to be waving them over. It seemed as though the older male had found a spot for them all to sit at. He gave a smile as he settled into his seat, lifting his hands to adjust his hood, before he reached down to scoop up Junior and put the little whelp on his lap. Not something that he'd be able to do for much longer though since he was going to get big if his mother Kyri was any indication. For now though it was best to keep the little one on his lap so he didn't get stepped on by the growing crowd.

"Quite the turn out... though it makes sense." Such things were bound to draw a lot of attention and not just from the Obans themselves. There were likely a lot of people from a lot of tribes wanting the news. It meant knowing what the Obans were up to after all, something that was important to those who didn't trust them wholeheartedly. He wasn't sure if he counted himself as one who didn't trust the group completely as there were some among them that he found nice enough... there were just many he also either didn't trust or feared. He was sure others were the same as him, so the news might help so long as the news was good news for all involved, not just the Fire Tribe.

Bisera - Post 9

Bisera glanced at the anklets that Xarnith was holding, flushing a bit as he said that they were a 'matching set', meaning they might wear matching bracelets. He blinked a couple times as he thought about that, about the idea of matching jewelry, and his blush only got worse. He nodded and once he found his voice said, "A-Ahh... if you like we can get both sets." He told Xarnith, turning back to the table as he tried to get his blush under control as he looked t a few more things.

Once he got his blushing in hand he paid for the two sets of bracelets, along with a few other items, tucking the into his pack for now. Turning back to Xarnith he said, "Shall we go and check out some more booths? Once we are done and once we find a place to sit we can put our anklets on! I would suggest they only be for special occassions though! You probably don't want to go into battle jingling after all." A thought that had Bisera chuckling a bit as it came to him.

"Come on, let's keep going!" He said, catching Xarnith's hand in his, leading him onward to more booths. They could look for more materials, some new clothing, food, and various other things. He really did love shopping! So long as he was careful not to spend too much. He wanted money for non-festival days too after all.

Nuri

His look was a mix between incredulity and exasperation as she simply explained she walked here, as if she didn't realize she was a dancer in the middle of an army. In fact, it reminded him of another dancer ages ago who though it was smart to walk onto a battle field with a flimsy outfit and petite dagger.

His expression turned into a frown, "Of course I'm happy to see you, but you do realize where you are, right?" He responded, easily falling into a comfort zone with his not-so-little sister.

That was until he heard Saraf, and his shoulders tensed. Turning, he glanced at the brash solider and shook his head, realizing just how it must have looked, "She's my sister. Saraf, meet Edathe...Edathe, Saraf."

Suddenly, they were moving, and he groaned, "I take it there's no point in having you run along now...where were you suppose to be anyway?"

Aeuri Post 5

Aeuri moved ahead of his siblings as the music picked up, climbing high atop the stand as he offered to help them up as well, "Hurry, the dancers are coming! Momma is gonna be here soon!" He shouted down toward them, frowning a bit and trying to ignore the little voice in his head telling him that if he saw his mother, she'd probably see him, which meant they would be in so much trouble.

Instead, he waved his hand down at his siblings, "Hurry hurry!"

Saraf - Post 6

Saraf glanced between the awkward pair, gauging their reactions, and merely said, "I see." He wasn't really sure if he bought it though. The manner in which the woman hadn't even bothered to deny it, merely blushing instead, making the two of them look guilty. He supposed that, given Nuri's status as a soldier, husband, and father it wasn't exactly something that he wanted to flant, was it? Only those with a great amount of power or noble blood seemed able to go places in public with their arm candy in tow after all. Since Nuri wasn't the General of the army, at least to his knowledge, he supposed he might be telling the truth about the woman that was hanging on him.

Deciding that he didn't really care one way or the other he gave a hint of a smile, "It's nice to meet you Edathe." Sister or no he would still do his best to keep up polite appearances when it came to being introduced to the woman. If she was important to Nuri then he would be nice... or at least as nice as he ever was. It was the whole reason he was able to tolerate Aseara, because she was tied to his good friend.

Arima - 6

It was definitely a large turn out. As excited as she was to listen to the speech, Arima felt nervous without her escort. He said we could meet again? Flushing lightly at the thought of even attempting to look for Saraf in this mess, the girl just shook her head.

Perhaps it was best to linger here on the edge of the crowd. Surely her mother would be looking for her soon and it would be easier to get back to her that way.

Aqio- Post 9

Aqio sent up a few prayers to the Oban Parthenon. Hoping for good things as anything bad might result in a highly overprotective elder twin going postal. He mentally sighed at that. Abie was a golden heart, but the elder twin was prone to overthinking and overprotecting. As evidence with his obsession over Incanthis. The shifter was a welcomed scapegoat for the younger twin, as heartless as that sounded. Aqio sensed its what both males needed. Incanthis needs a protector, as Abie needs something to protect. That way his brother doesn't give in to that darker nature. Like he was...Aqio kept his gaze on the dais where the royal family was too appear.

Abie- Post 9

Abie didn't say much beyond nodding. His gaze locked to where the royal family was to appear. He was both worried and perfectly indifferent to the state of affairs in Oba. This wasn't his homeland, though it has become his home...in a way. He glanced back to his Mentor. Lord Laofay had always taken time to remind both Abie and his twin that they didn't naturally belong here, but he would make sure they were comfortable. As he looked to Incanthis the urge to get the shifter back to the safe forests of Jauhar grew. Incanthis didn't belong here...the elder belonged in the forests. He shifted. Laqui looking up to nose Abie's hand had the water male looking down with a smile.

"Yeah." he muttered.
