As Seray had expected the festival seemed to make people react in various ways. Some were running around excitedly doing everything and talking to everyone. Some seemed like they wished they hadn't come and remained their like motionless statues. Seray liked to watch people win things he liked the way that their faces lit up with excitement, it was surely something grand. He was so engulfed with his studying that he was startled when he felt something brush up against his leg. Looking down he saw the Cotal looking up at him probably expecting treats. "I have nothing to give you." He said matter of fact-ly then looked up expecting the thing to leave. When he felt it coil around his leg he raised an eyebrow. "I have no food to give you." it didn't really seem to care so Seray reached down with his arm and let the Coatl wrap around that.

Altair clung to his little bat plushie he had won earlier admiring it and imagining the different ways that he could make it more unique. He soon decided to play a game where he could win a necklace he figured he would put the necklace on his little plushie and then it would be unique enough for him. He just barely won the game and when he did he stood there for a long time debating on colors, he wasn't sure which color to put on the little bat. He held up different necklaces up to the bat until he found the one that he thought was just right. With that he sliped it around the bat and secured it from falling off.
Miku had been running around all day doing everything he possibly could think to do it bothered him that no one was paying any attention to him. Didn't they know that they were all supposed to be his friends that was how it was supposed to work! He was at this point getting a little hungry so naturally when he eyed a game that had a chance to win candy he was all over it like flys on honey. It was an easy enough game for him the hard part of it all was deciding what kind of candy he wanted since honestly he wanted them all.

At his grin, Ivy waggled her claws at him and smiled brightly. She glanced curiously as the stall worker handed him a plushie and then colored slightly as he offered it to her. She shyly took it and hugged it to her peeping over it's head at him, her eyes bright.
"Thank you." she said softly.
She glanced up at the older Grimm and nodded her head eagerly reaching up and carefully taking only one piece and popped it into her mouth. She bobbed in a sort of curtsy as thanks and then looked back to Dante and offered him one of her hands so they wouldn't get lost as they made their way through the crowds. Of course he didn't have to take it! She knew boys sometimes thought girls were icky and while Dante was her friend and they hung out, it didn't mean there weren't possibly times he thought she was gross.

Akylan was dancing through the crowds when he noticed a booth with a relatively short line. He easily swung himself into the line, waiting until it was his turn. His hands were placed in his hoodie's pockets, bouncing his head to the music coming through his ipod. When it was his turn he grabbed the ball and easily tossed it into the further most basket as if it were as easy as breathing. The attendant looked a little annoyed, but ushered him to pick a prize. Spotting a cute little blue vespercat plushie, he pointed toward it. The plushie reminded him of Kimi, and he knew he'd have to find her to give it to her. Smiling, he popped it into his bag with the other plushie and went out to see what other gifts he could find.
As he moved easily through the crowd, he spotted the familiar blue hair and came closer, tapping her gently on the shoulder. "A prize, for the most beautiful lady in all the Academy!" He held up the plushie to her as if an offering.

Meliae was wondering through the festival when she noted what looked to be a small child around her age hiding under a booth. She frowned, tilting her head to one side as she came closer. "Are you okay? Why are you hiding under there?" She tried to make her voice as gentle as possible, but she was worried she'd scare the kid if they were already hiding. "Hey look, I have some candy.. if you come out I'll give it to you."
"It is nice to meet you Kara," Lazarus exclaimed, about to tell Odessa that he appreciated her enjoying his gift when he felt something rub up against his leg ", Huh?" He looked down to see a Coalt rubbing affectionately against his leg, looking up at him and smiling happily. It would seem that this familiar wanted to stay with him ", Ummm... I would love to hang out with you two today, but do you mind if I take this familiar with me? It would seem that it likes me."

Making hus way through the grounds, hu noticed that the librarians were at it again. Maybe they had different books from last time! Hu hadn't managed to collect all of them last time, but hu was to determined to do so this time around. After all, who wouldn't like to own a good book?
Sure enough, the librarian handed hum a copy of The Long Winter, a smile coming to hus face. Hu hadn't read this one before, and it seemed like it would be an interesting read. Maybe hu would get some enjoyment out of it.

Trying to get a grip of what had just happened, she shook the thought aside and made her way through the grounds some more. As she made her way through the grounds, she began to notice a lot of the stands had these pretty rocks. Perhaps she could collect those this time around. There didn't seem to be too many of them after all.
She decided to got to a stand where you tossed bean bags into certain holes to score points. Each hole had a different amount of points it could give you according to how hard it was to make it into that hole. After trying her luck at the game, she had managed to snag a rhodonite stone as her prize. Now to try and collect the rest of them.

After a very gorgeous chimera fallen hybrid had finished at this bean bag toss game, it was Jacintha's turn to try and make as many points as she could. Doing about as well as the junior before her, Jacintha couldn't wait to pick out what type of candy she wanted, bouncing up and down in her place ", Chocolate chocolate! I want the chocolate one!"
Making his way through the grounds some more, his new familiar snuggled up in his coat, Vivek noticed a bunch of wisps flying above them. They all looked like they were having so much fun. If only he could manage to have fun with the other freshlings like they were. His worries of being alone though were soon dismantled, one of the wisps coming to him and dancing around him. Vivek gave a small chuckle, dancing along with it as he continued through the grounds with his two new friends.

Coming across another booth, Ziron saw another plushie they just had to get for that special someone. It was a blue fluggbug! Surely this might be something that the special someone would like. Making their purchase, they put the toy away before continuing to look at other stuff.

With her ring now on, Coralie started to look for somewhere she could eat. The nixie had forgotten to do so before she got here, and was beginning to feel her tummy growl at her. Once at the food court, she placed her order and received her number, sitting down at a table and sitting for her food to get finished. As she was waiting though, she felt something crawling up her leg, looking down to see a Coatl. At first it startled her, the little critter turning its head to the side as to observe her reaction. After a while though she gave the little thing a smile ", How about you join me for my meal, okay? It should be here at any time now."

Finally looking up, Aqua'glow noticed one of the teachers that had joined the academy about when she did, Cimara Tirgone the law teacher. Wow, it had been a while since she last saw him around, and it would seem he had something with him ", Cimara!" She waved so he would notice her ", It is Aqua'glow. Nice to see you again. What are you carrying?"
Syndri wandered around, smiling at random pretty attendants. They tugged on a few of their legs, giving cute little smiles as they begged for a few prizes just to see if any of them would oblige. They grinned widely when one of them handed him a whole box of chocolates. Opening it, they gave the girl one before scattering to go eat their prize.

Sarren continued to walk around the festival grounds, knowing that his caretakers weren't too far behind, though it seemed as though they were wanting him to slightly strike out on his own. He held a notebook in one hand, scribbling down little things he found interesting. He felt himself just barely nudge someone beside him when he had his face buried in the pages. He looked up, frowning slightly. "I'm really sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you!"

"You're welcome..." Dante blushed a bit darker when Ivy offered her hand and he took it shyly. He looked up at Kyoko and took a piece of offered candy. He looked back at Ivy and smiled. "Let's go win some more prizes!"
Every bigger celebration was fun for Ash. She'd get a chance to make more things to give to people, and there were potentially nice trinkets to be won! Wisps also tended to be drawn to events like these, so aside from game booths there was even a chance of finding a stray one flitting about. This time, she did manage to win one on her own merit from one of the games. Happily watching the little sphere of light circle around her head, she attempted to find Frey and Chi in the crowd.
Amber had gotten some time off for Hunter's Jubilee, and was now going around the festival grounds with Eriu, holding hands with the girl as they walked. Ametrine hadn't awakened from their soul stone yet, so the imp had decided to leave the stone at home just to be on the safe side. Eriu kept asking when she would get to see her sibling, obviously excited to be a sister, but sadly Amber couldn't answer her. Ametrine would awaken when they were ready. They tried their skills at a little target shooting booth, but sadly neither of them got enough hits to win a prize. Luckily there were plenty of other games to try, and different treats to eat.
Kaoru was giving Hikaru a ride on his shoulders in order for the child to have a better view of everything, and they were both pretty happy to get to spend some time together. Earlier Morginn had given them both adorable hand-sewn jackalope plushes, and the two dolls were peeking out of Kaoru's bag cutely. He was determined to return the favor, but for now he was going along with Hikaru's requests before heading for the craft tent. As with all bigger celebrations, there were numerous booths with various game activities and lotteries where you could win all kinds of prizes. Taking their chances, they went up to one of the lottery stands - alas, luck was not on their side this time around. Hikaru seemed a little disappointed, but there were many other opportunities to win something fun to take home.
Rajani was currently wandering alone, pondering whether she should seek out Bijoux and keep the little freshling company. Would they already be out here, or still in the dorms, though? Maybe she would go back and check with the dorm keepers soon. First, though,she simply had to go and buy an adorable fluffbug doll she spotted at one booth. Above had some really nice toys and familiars too, it seemed. Man, it was so soft and plush and simply precious!
Alcor and Mizar were also exploring together, as was common for the two siblings - although Mizar was constantly keeping an eye out for his friend Muninn, who he really wanted to introduce to Alcor. The older imp was glad his younger sibling was finally making friends, and hoped that nothing bad would happen to sour the budding relationship. As Mizar started to feel tired, the two stopped to sit on a bench for a little bit, Alcor quickly buying a bag of sweets from a nearby stall for the two to share.

As Mytrax knelt to pet the coatl, the familiar slithered up her hand and settled around her upper arm, coiled securely like some sort of living accessory. The chimera stared at it, debating on whether she should scold it for being so presumptuous that she would allow it to settle there (she would, but she didn't think it was good manners to assume.) She heard someone clear their throat behind her, and Mytrax quickly got to her feet so as not to get in anyone's way.
She mumbled a quick apology and settled beside a booth practically giving away plushies. Mytrax did a quick look around and since there was no familiar face around, she tried her hand and as luck would have it, she won a plushie.

Ivy smiled just a bit more as he took her hand. It was nice being around Dante again. No matter what was going on, she always felt comfortable around him and didn't feel the obligation to try and be anything more than herself. She supposed that's what made him such a good friend. She wondered if he felt the same way about her. Did he try to be any more or less than he was? Hmm...puzzles.
At his enthusiastic declaration to go win more prizes, she nodded and happily let him tug her towards another stall.
Verve was still wandering around, a somewhat sour look on her face. This was really proving to be a snoozefest for the chimera. Sure there were a lot of people around but she didn't think the ambient music being played was the kind you could randomly grab someone and start dancing with. Sometimes she wondered if she should volunteer to be part of the celebration committee. Or start one. At least that way she was guaranteed some tunes she knew she could jam to.
Still, some of the stuff being offered at the booths was pretty neat-looking. When blue eyes spotted the plethora of necklaces, well, Verve may have a soft spot for the bling.
