She didn't personally do much anymore.... her pokemon just battled and battled. Maybe she ought to work on rotating things around some, having them do exercises, doing them with them. She remember, she used to do that with Jolteon some... She looked down. She missed her pokemon. She appreciated the ones she had now, but Jas, Jolteon... even Nidoking... Much of her original team just wasn't with her now....
Shaking off the nostalgia, she looked back at Grayson. She shrugged to his question, even if it wasn't directed at her, exactly. "No idea. MIght just be a way to get people traveling or something. You gotta take them to Alola and a lot of them are there, so maybe it's a tourist thing?" she supposed. She shrugged again. "Dunno. But yeah, lots to do." She glanced over, noticing Torchic trying to awkwardly roll an egg over, though she seemed to be struggling. "Speaking of, I should probably get going," she remarked. If torchic had her egg, then... yeah, no real reason to stay. "So, unless you're aiming to get stuff to make training even easier for you, too.... Well, yeah. See ya," she said, giving a wave to head over and get her pokemon, and the egg. Though, she sort of doubted she'd be seeing the guy again soon.

Luckily for Tay, they didn't need to go into the huge graveyard. Dismounting their fliers, Avikna and Tay instead ventured to a nearby park that seemed to be the center of attention for the small town. Near the ocean like with Vermillion, it was a continued enjoyment to rest and just let the time go by. Tay eagerly released a few of her Pokemon to have some fun, but sadly not Vivi, given they were in to crowded of an area for the egghunt. She was upset by this, but knowing they'd likely be lodging for another night in a Pokemon Center she knew she could let Vivi out there.

Avikna in the meantime followed along after Tay. she stuck by as the teen mingled with the other egg hunters. It's funny how she'd meet a small handful of people who were rather mean about the egg-hunting. To Avikna, it was rare to meet good-natured people who knew about sportsmanship. Though perhaps it was because while they were well hidden, there were a lot of them. From what Avikna could see, everywhere left and right people were popping up with an egg. It was like someone was just offering the illusion of a hide and seek game. Well, whatever got people active and moving around, it was tolerable in her book. So long as it didn't end up being another con in the end.

"So how many eggs have you gotten so far?" asked a younger trainer than Tay. The teen thought for a moment, counting in her head the many places they'd gone. She then looked back towards the group that had gathered around her. "Fourty-seven." She replied. "We're almost done." She quickly added, remembering that you only needed 5o for the final prize. The group was in awe at her number. "No way. You can't already be that far!" One spoke up. Tay nodded her head. "I am. Me and my friend have flown everywhere! I've seen so many cool places! After this is over we're going back to Alola so I can start my gym battles." The trainer from earlier arched a brow. "You mean you don't even have a badge yet?" Tay shook her head. "No, I just recently became a trainer... Avikna brought me to a professor and I got my first Pokemon and everything." Tay then reached for Elias' ball, and called forth the bird. He fluttered down to a rock they'd gathered by, and looked curiously down at Tay. He'd expected a battle or something, not to be gawked at by other humans. "Woah! Is that really a Dartrix?! I saw one in a magezine. I want one. Hey would you trade him for my starter?" Tay's smile vanished, but before she could say anything the trainer's friend smacked him on the back of his head. "Don't be an idiot. You can't just trade off your starter willy nilly. Starters are sacred. they're meant to be your best friend until the end." The trainers friend offered an apologetic smile to Tay. "Sorry he's such an idiot. Anyway, we've got to get going." She held up an egg. "I've found our egg, so it's time to move on." The other trainer, rubbing his head stood up and joined his friend, both said good-bye, leaving Tay to once more continue her search.

Ugh, Lavender Town. What a creepy place. There was a tower off to the north filled with the decaying bodies of deceased pokemon. A waste of space honestly; bodies really should’ve just been buried in the dirt to fertilize or something. At least that was something he’d heard from his father at one point in time during a funeral for a co-worker who had met a rather grizzly demise on the railways. Cheri once more led the way towards a destination to check, Noah trailing only a few feet behind her. Lafayette could tell the otter was some level of perturbed about the ambience of the place; he couldn’t blame him. And the fact that Cheri seemed none to phased just reaffirmed his belief. Psychics weren’t good against ghost types, right? Supposedly they got scared of them and it made them weak. Some… psychological bull hockey or whatnot. Either way, if Cheri wasn’t scared then there probably wasn’t much to the supposed legends. That or she had the best damn poker face ever and hid her fears well. At the thought of this she did turn her head slightly to peer back at him, a stare that he met with his own. Lafayette stifled a yawn and continued his trek after the pair, absently flexing his fingers of his single hand in the process. It randomly occurred to him that he still had his left arm… convenient since he was already a lefty. Maybe that made the whole learning process easier; he eyed his hand a moment as his thoughts drifted again. He wasn’t very good at writing anyways but he had to wonder what it would be like to relearn writing and dominant hand actions with a new hand. That seemed… weird to think about. And hard. Which was weird, strangers caring about strangers. But then again, the guy had jumped in the water full f Sharpedo to fish him out which was in and of itself, a crazy act of altruism. Either the guy was brave or stupid. Probably a combo. Maybe someone he’d hang out and have a beer with. If he could legally get a beer. The other guy, not him. He was old enough for that stuff. He glanced over as Noah appeared with another egg and tucked it away. Well, they were almost done with this region as it was; amazing given the circumstances. They just had one more place to go and then they could head to the next region. Nice.

Though he’d considered it earlier, that every city, town, cave, and mountain he visited wouldn’t be remembered, Huey had the sneaking feeling that Lavender Town wouldn’t be one of them. It had a rather… chilling, and depressive atmosphere to it that sent shivers up the boy’s spine. Not to mention the perpetual fog, that continuously rolled through the town from… somewhere. Even if he did go through life with rose-tinted glasses, extra rosy, he could tell that something was bothering his trainer. For once, Cloud didn’t bother talking and instead hugged Huey as tight as he could. Which… actually ended up being too tight, considering Huey began squirming, and Cloud had to tone things down.
